I have been a Payoneer customer for quite some time. I have enjoyed my relationship with them until now. 2 weeks ago, I called Payoner and inquired about having my weekly paycheck deposited on to my Payoneer card. They provided me all the info needed to have my paycheck deposited on to the card through a Bank of America checking account. My employer placed a. 01 test deposit into my account last week. They do this each time we change banks for Direct Deposit to give the bank the chance to reject or question the deposit before an actual paycheck is deposited. Today, Payoner received the deposit but will not give me access to the funds. I have provided them with all the supporting documentation requested including a copy of my pay stubs and a link to my employee's website (they are one of the largest payroll services in the USA). I telephoned their customer support. They agreed that the documentation was in order. Yet my funds are still on hold. I would strongly NOT recommend this company.
Account blocked for no specific reason. I made 3 e-mail tickets to customer support with no answers from them. Chat support is basically inexistent, they have only predefined answers which aren't answering your questions. Phone support is very poor also and it's quite hard to get a free operator.
Please avoid to keep more than a few $ in Payoneer account. It's possible to loose all the $ existing in your account if Payoneer decides to block your account ( obviously with no notification in advance and with no specific reason).
I found another payment processor called Paxum, which seems to be more reliable and their customer support is fabulous comparing to Payoneer.

I've read really horrific stories of people losing a large fund to Payoneer, and after reading the content of a customer service chat. I've gotten enough to draw my own conclusion, and I can't take Payoneer at their word if they treat their customers like $#*! and can't even reply appropriately, incorrect and decent English. Heck typing correctly wasn't a concerned in that conversation, which you should be able to find at the bottom of this page.
So I'm going to try elsewhere, better now than when it's too late and my money is jumping between banks in Poland.

Yesterday i tried to log in in my payoneer account and i got the message that my account has been blocked.In live chat the agent told me that for security reason he can t tell me why they blocked me. I strongly believe that payonner is just another group of scammers in this present generation. I opened an account with them two months ago and after i got a payment from a client, payonner held up my money and kept on asking me to verify my identity.

I want to share my bad experience with Payoneer.
About 2 months ago i entered my online account password incorrectly and my account got blocked. I sent all required information, they did not accept my documents, said a copy was unclear. I sent more documents, they still do not accept them. Meanwhile, my passport has expired- passports are issued for 10 years in my country- and now they do not accept a copy of my old passport and a copy of my new passport.
In addition to this, my card was blocked, and they shipped me a new card but i cannot activate it because the account is still locked.
Now, about their customer support. Waiting times in chats are awful- it takes about 30 minutes to get connected to an agent. They transfer my emails back and forth and say it was transferred to security department or some other department. Response time is very poor- my email was not responded for about 48 hours!
I really really need this resolved. Does their security department work at all?

Dears! Let me tell you my wifes experience with Payoneer.
She was receiving her fees as a freelancer in a Payoneer account with a Prepaid Debit Card attached.
In one day, around 3 weeks ago, she tried to withdraw some money at ATM, but the ATM said "card blocked". She comes home and she logged on hers online account to Payoneer website, saw that the account balance was ok (around 6200 $ available) but the message with the card blocked was also there on Payoneer account. She e-mailed to support team with no answer untill today.
Moreover, after a few days, she receives the message "Your account is blocked" when trying to access the online account. Another e-mail to support team with no answer until today (around two weeks ago it was sent).
She tried to obtain information from online chat support. They say only "your account was blocked for undisclosed reasons" and they close her chat session.
Ok, she calls then at the international support number. Finally she was able to speak with an agent more careful and pro-active, but he couldn't manage to answer her to the following questions: Q: "Why is my account blocked?" A: "I see only undisclosed reasons! I don't know to tell you for sure what that means! Please wait for the answer from Support Team on email!" Q: "What happened with my account balance of around 6200$?" A: "I see a zero balance of your account only! Maybe the balance was transferred back to your clients!"
Someone please help me with a Customer Protection Authority from USA which provides help to foreign custormers (we are not americans). We intend to send a letter with all our proofs that we were holding at Payoneer a big amount of money, which seems to be vanished with no trace and no explanation.

They asked me for documents after the payment arrived, it took them more than a week, their mail system fails so you can't contact them, all that to finally cancel my payment "Due to compliance reasons" with no reason at all (I'm a developer working for a legal company with no link to online casino or anything of this kind). No appeal possible.

I am a happy customer for several years now. Been through two cards, after my first expired recently they sent a new card which arrived okay within 3-4 weeks.
Over my time with them, I have always received prompt payments and transfers. Never had to fight with support or anything like the other reviewers here have experienced.
The service that Payoneer provides is unique and totally useful for me. I've used it for receiving freelance earnings and affiliate commissions from various US companies, most of whom I wouldn't be able to receive money from otherwise. Especially not with Paypal.
If you don't follow the rules they set out, you will probably be disappointed. It's not their fault, there are lots of regulations for international transfers and they do a great job of making it easy to receive cash over borders. They jump over hoops so you don't have to.
Overall: 5/5 stars because I have literally no complaints.

I have never used Payoneer, ever. Then, the company that I work for as a translator decided to change their payment method to Payoneer. I am baffled to find out today that my payment has been sent to an account in Poland and so far they do not know how that happened. I talked to customer service that said they also do not know how it happened Now, If I my money is being transferred to someone else's account, and I can see the last digits of this person's account, how can I trust that my account will not be used by anybody else? It is an outrageous situation because my whole salary has been sent to them and I have to wait for days until they can tell me what exactly happen! NOT SATISFIED AT ALL! This is an issue that should be solved immediately! Not brushed off to the next department so I can wait "few BUSINESS DAYS" to fix it!
I began to use Payoneer when first freelancing, and after due diligence and lots of inquires in forum boards over the web, I began using Payoneer. It is no Paypal: the registration, interface, fee structure, accessibility and other functions are a step down. However, it perfectly works for what is intended for: to receive money from freelancing sites, from US, UK and EU companies, and then send it to your bank.
As I opened my account and began to earn money on Elance/Upwork, I made some trial deposits, in order to find out the real exchange rate and fees. Payoneer is not particularly transparent in this. Luckily, it all went right. Exchange rates when depositing to my bank account are around 20-30 cents better than Paypal (for USD - Mx), the debit card can be used in the Internet to pay directly in dollars (Amazon), and I have seen no problems for deposits, nor additional fees from my Mx bank.
For non-us citizens, you can use it as a virtual USD account.
Now, you have to play by their rules: always check any fees your freelance website may charge ($0 for Elance, $2 for Upwork), check when you can get your money (2 hours for $2, in 2 days for $0), and not ever use the card for ATM disposals (they charge high fees, plus the fee from bank).
Many complains come from guys in Sri Lanka and India that withdraw via ATM and need the money asap, then get ripped to shreds by fees and exchange rate. But, if you use it as part of your freelancing strategy, can always wait two or more days to receive funds, have a cushion to operate a month or two until national bank withdrawal, Payoneer is a very good companion to Paypal.
