It doesnt state obviously and in flashing lights you have to pay once cv is completed. But after you have completed it, for £2.95 the level of customer service to alter/modify and edit to get your CV is very good, it is money well spent. They spend time fixing page breaks and spacing etc. try contacting them. Very helpful experience i had this evening.
Its a total bull$#*! and scam... i payed 2.40 euros to get cv that said in no addition that needs to be payed at all but after spending an hour writing i needed it so i bought it. After all, they kept my card info on their page, and charged me 16 GBP 15 days later for nothing! Nothing! Its a total scam, thetly rob ppl and hack your card... NEVER EVER pay them a cent ppl

1. Spent so much time editing it in the hope it would format well across two pages. Literally hours resetting and re downloading into PDF in the hope it would work. It would have been easier to type myself but as i had paid

Trying to update my c. V and it kept deleting my data, first it deleted details from my currant job information in my work history, then from accomplishments, next affiliations, certifications, and finally the dates from my work history. It wouldn't let me fill in a job title on one of the in built statements. It also decided to keep some of the writing blue and larger than the rest and wouldn't let me change that either. The customer service on the other hand was excellent, went through the online talk help, most of issues sorted will try again and re input the information lost to see if it works now.

Automatically takes a monthly direct debit from your account, £25 in my case, does not send you invoices - or any further communications of any kind - website does not allow you to automatically cancel your subscription - website does not give any details on your subscription - customer service line goes straight to voicemail. This is simply a method of getting your account details and taking as much money as they can before you notice, then make it difficult to cancel the direct debit

Keep in mind that MyPerfectCV is a resume builder that gives the user a chance to try our service prior to commit to a full access subscription. Once you finish editing your resume, the service allows you to download the free text version of the resume or save it in your account for further review. The options for emailing, downloading and printing the resume in Word format are part of the full access subscription. To further our user experience, we provide the option of a 14-day trial for a small fee. When you select our 14-day trial enrollment, it provides all details on screen that after the 14th day it will auto enroll into the monthly subscription service. It also explains, that you can cancel at any given time. This alert is also given when the credit card information is requested where it explains that, unless you cancel, you automatically authorize us to charge your account every four weeks at the current rate of the subscription. Lastly, when you finish your enrollment process, an e-mail is sent explaining this as well.

Although calling itself a free CV builder, you can't actually access anything unless you pay - so you can spend a couple of hours writing it up just to have it ask for money at the end

I needed my old CV dolled up, the format looked ancient. So I googled it, found MyPerfectCV and got to work. Site works well, good templates, no bugs or errors. Then when it came to downloading my CV they asked for debit card details and gave a 14 day free trial. (I knew it was coming) So I did that and then (of course) forgot to cancel before the auto-subscription kicked in. I logged on to their Live Chat and pleaded for mercy (I was only a day late and there was no pending transaction showing on my bank statement). The assistant asked me for feedback, I responded favourably, then he offered me a massive reduction. £3 a month down from £16.95... And so I reasoned, that since I really should be more proactive in my quest for new work (and don't the weeks fly by so fast) I decided I might as well stick around for a month or two. Their swanky CV and cover templates could make all the difference! ;)

The actual site was easy to use they are really helpful with information on review of my CV. Before I signed up for the paid service I read some reviews. Most were negative but I liked how my CV turned out and couldn't find a way to get it off the site without paying. Then I saw something interesting on the site and that's when I realized.
Most people don't even bother to read the not-so-fine print. Most people here are whining about charges but I read them right off the first email I got. It tells you to cancel before the trial ends if I don't wanna get charged again.
You know what I did? I cancelled it and all was good. I get the site is meant for people that don't know a whole lot about Word and things like that (like me) but these idiots don't even READ. It's a miracle they have any money in the first place.
