We have been using Payoneer for the last few months to pay a contractor. Earlier payments went through fine. Our latest two payments, early September 2016, did not reach the contractor and we had no idea why. Last emails from Payoneer stated the payment is 'under review'. So we ring up customer "service" to enquire. The representative didn't seem to know what was going on and put me on hold for a while. Then she comes back and says we need to send photos of our credit card and ID in reply to the emails we had. I asked why we would need to send these when we haven't been asked to and previous payments were all fine. The response was extremely rude - implying I was either deaf or stupid. I did not receive a response as to why photos of our credit card front and back were required. What kind of company requires you to send your entire credit card details over email? What are the security guarantees that Payoneer can offer in return? I was stunned at the attitude and rudeness of the rep. Then she said she needed to go and hung up. WTF Payoneer? We will certainly no longer be using your services.
Hello, I have transferred funds from my payooner account to my bank account last September 1,2016 however until today the amount was not yet credited, I already reach customer service and they had given me reference number, it already pass 2 days but didn't receive an notification about the status of my funds transfer, what do I need to do? I have never had any issues with Payoneer. I don't understand why they have such a low rating. I withdraw money from my card at almost all ATM machines, I use it to make purchases both online and in stores, and most of all, funds get deposited on my card almost immediately they get sent. Even when I lost my card, I had a replacement sent to me within few days. I have been using Payoneer for many years and I've never had anything to complain about.
I can't receive money, I can't withdraw money, I can't send money, I can't issue a prepaid card. Now they locked my account and my money is stuck!

1- I used it in order to transfer money in USD to my USD bank now they disconnected that and they only send in local currency.
2- I used the billing service, TOOO SLLOOWW as pain and they ask my clients for docs which is aweful policy and even when he did provide this $#*! the payment failed I completely moving to pay pal. Yes higher fees but better service.

This company has the worst customer service I have ever come across in my entire life, not to mention its borderline scam, they sell you their service as a solution to withdraw money from paypal to a prepaid card, after you do all the process (not to mention it takes 6 months for the card to arrive if it arrives in the first place) oh surprisse, paypal has taken legal actions against payoneer and has blocked it so in other words payoneer its obsolete with paypal.
For anyone trying to use this service to withdraw funds from paypal... dont.

Hi Fran, Payoneer provides a line of services, such as mass payouts, global payment service, billing service, make a payments and withdrawals. I am not sure how you got this information about our service but I'm afraid it wasn't accurate. I sent you a private message to clarify it a bit more.
They take your funds freeze all your acts for reasons they WILL NOT disclose. You can submit any and all info the request an they will still steal your funds. Worst company in the world to do business with. WATCH OUT!

I`m using Payoneer for a while, a good service in the past, but now it`s more than awful.
For every payment in the last 2 months i had to wait more than 1 week, they`ve asked for some documents over and over and over.
Last payment received from a company that had paid me in the past with payoneer, after 10 days the`ve declined my payment because i didn`t give them an elance.com link, i give them a freelancer profile ( guys... elance it`s not working anymore, it`s upwork now... and you can force me to use upwork in order to get money into my account).
So... a good service has been transformed into a... something that it`s not a service for freelancers ( like they says on the frontpage).
I don`t why... i`m sorry for you Payoneer :(, i will not give you 1 start like it should, i`ll give 2 starts because you used to be a very good service.

For 2 or 3 months they`ve become impossible to use. For every payment that i receive from my old clients that they have use payoneer ( only this year i`ve recive more than 20k) they ask a lot of information: like they ask me to email my id card 5 TIMES, they want to see the invoices and the work i`ve done... they want to know what size i have on shoes ( joking, they want to know some other stuff deeper than that). A lot of stupid questions and rererevalidation of old validation.
After weeks of emails i receive the money ( that is why i give a star here)... but f%$%k payoneer it`s a payment service or what?

So I had $20 in my account for a while and everything was fine. As soon as I had over $100 Payoneer blocked my account and have been ignoring my emails. No reason other than undisclosed reason is specified. I bet the unspecified reason is that they want to scam me. BEWARE OF PAYONEER!

The fact that you have to go through so much to change the bank account information is ridiculous. Especially in today's world where I can easily change my information with the click of a button. Simply for that, I do not recommend them. I've already spent a lot of time changing my bank information on all my other credit cards and ACH payments that I don't have time to deal with this.

Herein I would like to summarize the truly awful service experience our company has endured by foolishly deciding to use Payoneer as our payment service of choice:
Three weeks ago I contacted a representative from your Support team to simply help clarify some transactions which they did, thereby resolving our inquiry. Yet thereafter, they proceeded to block those same funds (even though the problem was solved) with the justification that they were protecting our funds. This supposed protection has now resulted in our company losing business for more than three weeks. Despite several attempts to call your Support team and rectify this situation, including one call just hours ago, there has still been no resolution, demonstrating the complete lack of coordination and communication among the members of your Support team. Every time they say 'we will expedite the process sir, it's a lengthy process' I have no clue why on earth you want to block someone's account and hard-earned funds for out-of-date so called security reasons and yet you don't (or maybe don't know how to) lift the ban when it's resolved and closed. This scattered and fragmented workflow within the Payoneer Support team has now caused our business to suffer, ironically, under the disingenuous pretext of being protected. So it is now that our team at Artbees would like to reciprocate the same earnest and genuine response we have been given over the last three weeks. Now after three weeks they do not even reply my tickets and tweets. And leave us with no option to start the legal process to see if we can release our funds.
Awful and irresponsive customer support, poor UI and UX, and extremely dangerous to your business is my review of this of cheap service. If you run a serious business do not rely on this service.
Update: The same day this post was published, someone from Payoneer asked me to reply his private message so he can help me. But I never heard back after a week now. It's like they post one template response below every negative review to show they 'care'.

My friend here in Thailand works online and her pay is processed in California. It was suggested to use Payoneer. She had problems starting her payments and recently she went to a reputable local bank to receive a mastercard withdrawal. Payoneer processed the $1065. 00 transaction as an authorization then the bank told her the Payoneer system crashed. Now Payoneer claims her money is held as an authorization by the bank and she must wait 30 days for the authorization to clear. Peculiar, they get to play with her money for 30 days. I forget what they charge her but I know there is an annual fee, plus a transaction fee for each direct deposit ($5.00 I believe) plus a fee for each cash withdrawal (another $5.00). Today I received a reply from Payoneer asking me to clarify my comment via PM, they provided no questions in any PM, I am sure my review was perfectly clear if they want account numbers or such clarification, ask...
I finally found the PM from Payoneer, The person was friendly, but nothing was resolved. My friend must still wait a month to receive her pay that was posted on August 2d. They place all the blame on the Thai bank where she attempted to withdraw the funds.
My friend finally received her money from Payoneer, 31 days later, It was not the fault of the Thai bank (Siam Commercial Bank). There is no doubt in my mind that Payoneer selects a number of large payments to sit on them to draw interest for their executives.

I never had this type of bad service from a company. I use PayPal, Skrill, and on them I can receive money paid by Credit Card in seconds, but Payoneer takes days asking for ID and all this $#*!. I am waiting now "only" for one day to a payment will be approved to my Payonner account.
My customer and me we are thinking that Payoneer is not serious company and I will warn every body to use they service.
I will close my account with them and write a complain to European Consumer Center.

Noticing that Payoneer reps are replying to reviews posted here, I'm adding my voice too. After eight or so months of using Payoneer with few issues, my payment has now been delayed for far too long, with customer service reps contradicting each other and one being incredibly rude. I am still waiting for funds I financially depend on. I sincerely hope that my payment will be approved soon, but I am already actively looking for other payment methods for subsequent payments. Anything, even Western Union, sounds like a better option at the moment. Western Union may charge a lot, more even than Payoneer which itself has rather unpleasant fees, but at least they do not hold your money hostage.
