Payoneer is the financial technology company empowering the world’s small and medium-sized businesses to transact, do business, and grow globally. Payoneer was founded in 2005 with the belief that talent is equally distributed, but opportunity is not. It is our mission to enable any entrepreneur and business anywhere to participate and succeed in an increasingly digital global economy. Since our founding, we have built a global financial stack that removes barriers and simplifies cross-border commerce. We make it easier for millions of SMBs, particularly in emerging markets, to connect to the global economy, pay and get paid, manage their funds across multiple currencies, and grow their businesses.
The company enjoys a generally positive reputation, particularly for its customer service, which is frequently described as responsive, knowledgeable, and supportive. Many customers appreciate the efficiency and clarity of the representatives, highlighting their commitment to resolving issues effectively. However, some reviews indicate frustrations with initial service experiences, particularly regarding account access and verification processes, which can lead to significant delays and dissatisfaction. Overall, while the company excels in providing a user-friendly platform and reliable support, there remains a need for improvement in training and consistency across all customer interactions to enhance the overall experience.

Why do you offer 24/7 service on your website to report a stolen or lost card but when you call it no one answers?
Pathetic!
I made a payment back in March of this year(2020) to my cable company via a bank online portal(this was not the first time making payment like this) Now in May the cable company is going to give me a call that I owe them for March payment to which I respond I don't owe them because I made payment via the online portal. (Now you must know that the accounting department of the cable company does not update their books until they really 'have to", before this march incident, they also claimed I didn't pay sometime last year, when I informed of the method I used, they called the accounting department and it was confirmed that yes I paid. So now they are saying that the accounting department is saying they did not receive any payment fro the online portal in my name. I took the statement over to the company and showed them the transaction that was made and the authorization code, etc. They took a picture of it and forwarded it to the bank. Now, the thing is the bank is claiming that they never did receive this payment that I am claiming. Obviously, I contacted customer service of Payoneer. I spoke to someone and she informed me that it shows that it was debited to my card and the company should have received it, but since I am saying that the company stated they did not receive it nor the bank, she will forward my query to another department and they are to get in contact with me in 3 business days. Guess what 3 business days has passed and still no response from them. If the bank is claiming that they did not receive no transaction on the said date, then where did my money go? I need to find out! This is so frustrating!
I'm sorry to hear about your frustration, and I'm happy to help out and hopefully improve your experience with us. Please see my PM.
I wrote to them a couple of weeks ago to explain that I could not access my account and I could not reset the account. I explained that this could be due to the fact that I may have got the phone number wrong. I travel all the time and my mobile number keeps changing. I have no way of knowing what it was when I opened the account. They have finally replied and told me that the reason I could not reset the account is because I entered the wrong phone number and I must try again using the correct phone number. This is very obviously a reply written by a computer and a human has not looked at the case. Why does it take so long if it does not involve human interaction? It is very hard to understand the level of incompetence.
Hi Jamie, I apologize for any miscommunication that may occurred in this case. I sent you a PM.
My first time to withdraw from payoneer turned out as the worst experience I've ever had with online banking, I know i have not forgotten my payoneer account password, but i keep on coming up witn an invalid password response, until i got locked out, had emailed/posted payoneer customer care and the community forum but haven't got any response from them, I wonder where we can file a formal complaint to actually speed up the responses, anyone knows what is the governing agency for online banks? Like the usual banking institutions are normally governed by central banks
Hi Christian, I contacted you in PM to check if you issues was resolved, and see if I can help out.
Payoneer has always been there since the very beginning of my online carrier. When i first started freelancing, Payoneer was the only payment solution that supported a developing country like mine. Then i moved into Affiliate Marketing and almost every renowned Affiliate/CPA Network has Payoneer as a payout option. Now i run multiple 6 figure online businesses and help clients worldwide. All of my day to day Digital Marketing spendings are paid through my Payoneer card. And with their Global Payment Service, collecting payments from Clients and Merchants have become easier than ever before.
I use each & every service of Payoneer and am absolutely in love with them.
Im a full time affiliate marketer, and been in this marketing game for more then 8 years to date! I work with many companies, different networks, sometimes with direct advertisers. I also have a team of 230 people from different parts of the world working with me on this business. My business has different types of payment needs and Payoneer fits in all aspect. From receiving payments from affiliate marketplaces to collecting payment via invoicing, from sending payouts to my team to spending online for my Facebook ads - everywhere I am backed up by Payoneer. Its truly a blessing for my business.
Its clear what Payoneer have started doing. They are turning to PayPal tactics to increase there profits.
The main way Payoneer makes money is by investing your money just like a bank. To increase profits they put payments under review and hold payments. The longer your money is sitting in your Payoneer account the more money they can make, By reviewing payments "for your own security" and "to protect you" they increase the profits by a huge margin.
If they feel as though they have not made there monthly quota they Block/Ban your account and seize your money. Its exactly what PayPal does. These companies work like banks but are not held to Banking regulations which enables them to review payments and seize your cash anytime they please.
Even the banks will take your money when the market crashes just like they have in the past. The only way to make sure your money is secure is by stuffing it in your mattress and keeping a gun under the pillow.
I have been using Payoneer for over a year now and was satisfied by the service.
I used their system exclusively to withdraw money from Paypal and receive payments from a Merchant platform affiliated to Payoneer.
5 days ago whlle logging in to accept an incoming payment from my Merchant Platform I was unpleasantly surprised to notice that my CARD WAS BLOCKED and my access to my funds disabled.
And this without receiving any Notification from Payoneer neither by email nor through their inbox system.
I contacted their live support to ask for due explanations and could not get anything but:
YOUR CARD WAS BLOCKED FOR UNDISCLOSED REASONS
YOUR CASE IN UNDER REVIEW AND YOU WILL BE UPDATED BY EMAIL WITHIN 3 WORKING DAYS.
I tried their email suport and opened a ticket. I received an automated reply stating that their support services will get back to me within 3 working days.
Now it's been 5 (working) days I haven't heard from Payoneer.
I can't access my money, I have no idea why and what is going on.
By reading reviews on this forum I understand that it is something affecting a lot of people and I find the lack of comunication and transparency of Payoneer suspicious.
How can a Bank impede its clients to access their money without legal justification?
Do they have financial problems? Or is it an organized scam? Or just a terribe customers service?
Hi Fred, in order to look into it, feel free to send me a private message. Please note that all Payoneer account must be complied with our terms and conditions- you can see them on our website.
Its been more than a week when I made the request for bank withdrawal and my money hasn't yet transferred to my account. No one is replying me on the payoneer support from last 5 days. WTF! Be aware!
Hi Shehzad, I'm am sorry to learn about the delay. I'm happy to look into this for you, please see my private message.
To anybody is not currently using Payoneer: stay away! If don´t want to loose your money. BEWARE Payoneer.
Airbnb sent me a Payoneer Mastercard after a while Payoneer blocked my account for no reason. Customer care well let's just say they don´t exactly "care".
This far they are stealing me above $1500.
A "funny" detail: they can't continue giving you their "services" and they intend to keep with your money. That can't be right in any way. Shame on you desperate for money Payoneer.
Hi Lorena, Please note that all Payoneer accounts must meet our terms and conditions as stated on our website. I'm happy to look into this for you, feel free to contact me privately.

Hi Elvin, I am sorry to hear about your experience, however please note that due to the holiday season there may have been some delays. I'm happy to look into this for you, please see my private message.
I trieed to withdraw my money from my card and, SURPRISE... the PIN was wrong. WTF? I just activated my card and put my PIN. Anyway, after i blocked my card with too more wrong pin attempts i message payoneer support to reset my pin.
Are almost 4 days and they didn't respond me and i need my money.
Sorry for my english
Hi Andrei, I'm happy to help you with sorting out this issue- please see my PM.
I signed up and got my card, activated my card and then loaded funds on it after getting paid from over seas for a project I did.
Now I'm trying to access my funds locally and come to find out that the service to get your funds locally is not supported in my country. That is BS! Why wouldn't they tell me this upon signing up, why would they send me a card after seeing where I'm located knowing the service to get my funds locally doesn't apply to me because of my location makes no sense unless you are trying to Rip people off.
I'm hoping I can get some answers and a solution on how to get my funds off my account, even though I'm not getting my hopes up on that:-/.
Hi Stanley, I am sorry to learn you feel misinformed or misled about our services, however a dropdown list of all the countries where banks withdrawals are enabled is available on our website. However, as you already have funds in your account, you still have options to use them online or withdraw cash from ATM.
That's what's happening to me with Payoneer. Each time I receive a payment, I have to claim it in order to be loaded. And it's becoming a habit now... My payments take from a week to two weeks after many complaints to the support center that never resolves anything. That's the third time that this happens. Days ago, when I talked to them through their live chat, I was asked to resend them my ID for further identification, that's what I did (I have already sent it years ago when I created my account and I really don't agree with this identification method, it could be fraudulous). They told me that it has been approved by the finance department and that I'll get my payment in two hours. It has been 2 days now and I'm still waiting. I wonder why that's happening? Normally, a verification is done once and it passes or not. If it passes, it means everything is OK. Why are they holding my payments each time I receive them. If there is a problem it could have been fixed the first time, it doesn't need to be fixed each time I receive a payment. Last, time that my payment has been pending for 15 days at least, I had to claim through sitejabber.com to get it fixed by a payoneer representative because their support center couldn't do anything just using scripted responses and talking for nothing. Now, I don't care about my funds, because I'm really fed up of this institution, I just want to know what they want from me. If they want to close my account for no reason, just do it. I'm sick of their service.
Hi Azeddine, fist of all please note that all Payoneer accounts must meet our terms and conditions. I contacted you privately to see if I can assist with your missing funds.
I wholeheartedly agree with every other 1-star review of Payoneer on this site. We inadvertently initiated a transfer of funds to the wrong bank account, then immediately (within 5 minutes) informed Payoneer of the error. They assured us the funds would be returned to us so we could transfer them to the correct account, within 3-4 business days; 2 WEEKS LATER, we STILL don't have the funds. When I called to inquire about the delay, I was given the runaround for 5 minutes. After I pressed for a final answer, I was told, "We can't tell when the funds will be returned." I canceled our account on the spot, and I highly recommend every other client of theirs do the same.
Hi Marcus, I am sorry to learn of your experience, and will be happy to try and help you out. Please see my private message.
I shocked when I received this message on my email:
" Your account has been closed for undisclosed reasons. We will not be able to provide you with our services.
Sincerely,
Marilyn
Customer Care "
When I checked my card I saw that I can't send the money to other payoneer holders, Now I can only receive the money but I can't send C2C.
I contacted them several times but they told me"undisclosed reasons" is this fair? I recommended anyone to avoid payoneer.
Hi Salah, I'm sorry to hear about your unpleasant experience. Please be advised that all Payoneer account must be complied with our terms and conditions, as they are seen in our website.
I'd give this 0 stars if that were an option. Not worth the trouble. Tried to coordinate payment to India. The initial instructions were completely incorrect. Updated instructions did not include all required information.
Took multiple requests to support to get the correct and complete information. Then the payment was declined the first time.
Support is only by email which would be fine except each inquiry took 1 - 6 days.
Hi Craig, first of all please note that our customer care is available by chat, email or phone. Either way I am sorry to learn it took long for you to get a response. I'm happy to help out, please see my PM.
So, lets make a full review of Payoneer. I applied for a Payoneer Master Card two month ago, It wasnt fast and my first card didnt arrive in time. After 1 week of waiting, I asked the support via e-mail, but they didnt answer me for another week. So I tried to ask them via chat, but the chat Isnt available at this time or the chat is full. After 6 days of waiting and clicking the chat button, I finally could get In contact with the support(Its easier to contact Aliens, than the Payoneer support). At this time I ordered my Card with DHL, but It costs me around 40$. Its expensive, but my friend Payoneer told me that Ill get 25$ when I signup for their service(I asked the support, but didnt receive anything, even If I clicked the right URL), but this isnt the biggest problem. So firstly lets talk about the biggest problem in Payoneer for me: 1)I lost 130$ and didnt get them back, I made two transfers to my bank in Ukraine and I asked the support 7 times because of this. Everything they told me is to wait 3 days and theyll send me an email. I didnt receive an email in 3 weeks. 2)This problem is connected with the support. If you want to speak or chat with them, you must wait 20 - 40 minutes. Before I chat with them, I wrote a ready text with my problems. But somehow they didnt even read It and ask me from a copy/past text. After I answered twice, theyll tell me that Ill get my 130$ in 3 days in a very bad English(my isnt better, but from a company in the USA Id wish more).
Even here on sitejabber the Payoneer team lie about looking at your problem. I never get any response from them too.
So the last thing I want to tell you, dont ever apply for this Card, after reading all of this posts in sitejabber Id wish that I found It earlier. Im very sorry that you lost 100$, 500$, 1000$ or more. Im very disappointed of this service and Im very disappointed that I could not buy Christmas presents for my family because of this problems.
Hi Maurice, at Payoneer we constantly try to improve our service, and I am sorry to learn we fell short in your case. Please see my private message to you.
Like others on this forum, I have waited for several days for my money to appear in my Payoneer account. It was deposited on 21 Dec 2016, still no sign of it on 26 Dec. OK, it's Christmas and maybe there are delays... but how about the days before Christmas? I'll wait a bit longer. This is particularly frustrating because I've spent 11 months trying to get the paying company to pay the money... but that's a different issue. What comeback to we have if the money does not appear in the account?
Hi Carola, around the holiday season there can be some delays. Having said that, I'm happy to look into this for you. Please see my PM.
I am a trucker that utilizes UShip seldomly for loads back and fourth. I signed up for the payoneer card which has been nothing but trouble. This card is used at gas pumps and I always pay inside if the security strip is tampered with.
Not once, twice but now 4 times someone has stolen my information mysteriously this year. And at $15 each card it is becoming reductions.
Some how I spenthink money at a Sams club in San Antonio while 1000 miles away in Indiana. This $#*! company is a rip off.
And to file a dispute to get my money back they are making me jump through some crazy hoops. They were supposed to send me a paper to sign and send back, I got the email, with no attachment.
Ri-$#*!ing-diculous

Answer: Definitely a scam, they are not listed on the The Mastercard Compliant Service Provider List of which anyone can view and download directly from Mastercard https://www.mastercard.us/en-us/merchants/safety-security/security-recommendations/service-providers-need-to-know.html If Payoneer is legit why isn't it on the list like Paypal and alllll the other legit companies? It is because they are NOT legit and they are a scam!
