Absolutely do not book using mytrip
Absolutely do not book your tickets with mytip. I had an issue where a letter in my name was incorrect and they were horrible to deal with when trying to sort this out. I contacted them via email and phone multiple times in order to try and sort this out and they refused to help me saying I need to contact the airline directly. I contacted the airline but they said they legally had no right to the booking and I would have to get the travel agency to contact them and if they did they would correct it at no cost. I contacted mytrip again but they refused to contact the airline and get it corrected stating it was their company policy not to do so. In the end, I paid more than NZ$400 to cancel the flights. Please do not book with them as I don't want anyway else to go through the pain and frustration I just did. I've read other reviews (I wish I saw earlier) and it seems they have some dodgy practices and are very untrustworthy. I don't know if I will get any money back from them for my canceled ticket.
Girlfriend and I booked flights through this company. Total frauds. Said our flight would be delayed two days and that they can't really do anything about it except cancel. Still waiting on refund... its been a month. DONT MAKE OUR MISTAKE!

This site is scam website. So dont book any flight. And they have ridiculous customer services. They sold me fake ticket with no record at all. I lost £250 with them.

Made booking last year Dublin to Joburg. Selected option with stop over time of a couple of hours in Heathrow each way. Confirmation came back with 11hr stop-over going out and 6 hr and airport change coming back.
Contacted Mytrip and they wanted a couple of hundred pounds to change. Asked them for copy of computer booking record showing me what I had selected. They sent me back a copy of the record of the confirmation email, not what I had booked. Complaint went on for months and eventually they said it was my fault as their computer doesn't make mistakes. Very poor communication and only responded when I made a comment in trustpilot.
Totally useless outfit not fit for purpose and should be investigated.
Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever encountered. Made a mistake with the return date and tried to change it in less than 24 hours and was told that I had to pay an additional $1050 to make the change on a ticket that cost me $1500. Even the worst sites atleast give you 24 hours to cancel or change but not here. Once you hit pay forget about trying to get ahold of them or try to make any changes. I would not recommend their services to any one. THE WORST COMPANY

Mytrip.com completely wiped all responsibility off their shoulders when Thomas Cook collapsed.
A night before I called them to ask what would happen if TC would go bankrupt and I was told I would receive a full refund.
The next day, their story changed. Then I received an email with 'Unfortunately but it's impossible to apply for refund'...
My bank thinks it's unlawful and very irresponsible of them to refuse refunds in this case, because as a big player they're in much better position to get money back from Thomas Cook.
So here I am - without holiday, without my money...

Worst booking platform. They dont even have a centralised system. I had to pay an additional 170 eur to change my booking dates just as processing fee to mytrip on top of the fees paid to the airline. You have to call them for hours to get connected to their customer care because you cant manage your booking yourself online!
One of the worst, if not THE WORST experience I had trying to arrange my trip.
I wanted to cancel my booking because of the protests happening in Cairo and got FALSE information about the airlines' refund policy, which clearly states I can get my taxes back, and on top of all of this, now they want to charge me 55 pounds for the service they didn't provide me. Also, they keep sending me automated email responses. So unprofessional.
I will definitely be filing a complaint because I believe your overall treatment of my case has been unacceptable.
Book a flexible ticket and just tried to change the dates and the fara difference on top of what I paid is more expensive than to book a new ticket on their own website. :). these guys are just thieves.
Bad service ever
Bad service ever! Only use this agency if you are sure that you will not have any trouble that need to change the flight. I would recommend to book directly with the airline.
1. Mytrip says that flexible ticket is the option that only available while you book your ticket, but actually you can add anytime later.
2. It doesn't allow to change the flight online, the only way is to make a phone call to their support center, which will cost a lot because that's an international call.
3. It said flexible ticket will help save a lot of money but it isn't. I booked a flight from HCMC to Milan with 805$, after that i had to change the dates because of my visa issue. Before i made the call I had checked with skyscanner to look for the same price option with the old ticket that i bought. However, after a 30 minutes international phone call, they informed me that i had to pay extra 700$ to change (I had flexible ticket), which was almost a new ticket.
So i decided that i will buy a new ticket directly with airline, to save me from talking to that terrible agency again!
Avoid this company! Nobody pick up the phone, responding to e-mail takes at least 2 weeks. They charged us 1150$ for flexible ticket and for change return date asked for "fee" 2300$! The worst experience ever! (Directly air company changed us return dates without fee)

This company is a pure scam, the "5-star, great service" reviews are highly suspect in the context of all the other negative reviews.
I am a doctor working in the UK, please contact me below I can link you call logs, e-mail correspondence and current proof that mytrip.com is nothing more than a consumer scam - currently discussing legal proceedings with my EU Consumer Rights lawyers to make a case against this company.
I booked flights with a connection in Hong Kong from Heathrow to Melbourne leaving on 30th September.
6 days prior to the flight received an e-mail from mytrip.com explaining the airline had cancelled the flight. Mytrip only offered alternative flight which would make it impossible to make the connection - otherwise to contact them for a refund.
Here is where the scam starts--their call centres charge premium rates to many countries to resolve complaints. I have now in total 158 minutes of call time (most of which on hold to mytrip services) and nothing has been done.
Here is what they do: Despite the airline (Virgin Atlantic) informing me that due to the flight cancellation I would be entitled to a full flight refund to be arranged through mytrip; Mytrip continue to say that they are waiting for the airline to authorise the refund before releasing it.
**They have no intention of pursuing this refund or contacting the airline**, Virgin Atlantic inform me they have received no such request from Mytrip. All of my calls to the company just end up being Re-directed to a different person, clocking up premium call charges and sending me in circles. Hours of circles.
This company is little more than a scam website. They have no Alternative Dispute Resolution agency to oversee them. If you check TripAdvisor you can see 100s of cases of Mytrip magically changing connecting flights and then refusing to offer refunds or saying a refund would be pointless due to their "cancellation fees"
Summary: Highly suspect, borderline illegal racketing organisation who steal money for flights that are often cancelled. I am currently involved with EU Consumer rights lawyer to further this. *Avoid at all costs*. I'll be pasting this story on every available forum I can to try to help others
I booked a flight with MyTrip.com and at the beginning i didn't want to order baggage. After few days I changed my mind and wanted to add baggage to my booking. I couldn't find any place on the management booking site where I could add baggage to my booking so I contacted the customer support. After a few days they answered me they charge extra for this service. So apart from the cost of the baggage itself, they charge almost the price of the baggage only for that "service". WHAT?!?!?!?
Please please please never book with them! Me and 6 friends booked with them to go to Ibiza costing over £800. This was during the time Thomas Cook stopped trading and our flights were with Thomas Cook. I had no communication from my trip or any help on the very first day of this issue but told my flights were confirmed even though it is worldwide clear they weren't. They then told me we was flying with Condor two days before our flight and to go to the airport with a cancelled flight ticket and would not send out a new confirmation, they didn't tell me if I needed to try and get a refund or help with the process of Thomas Cook no longer going ahead. The customer service is awful and do not want to help you but scam you out of money they provide no advice but to tell you your stupid!
I had a lot of issues with getting in contact with the company. When I emailed the info adress I only got a response to fill in the contact form on the site or no responds at all. Furthermore the contact form is offline on the website so it is not possible to fill that in. I finally got in touch by phone after a lot of reconnecting, and rebooked my flight. I already purchased a flexible ticket so I was allowed to change my return flight in the future. Then when I wanted to rebook the flight I suddenly needed to pay again for the flexible ticket... I paid it because I had a bit of a hurry, but they were not allowed to charge me for it regarding their own terms. After rebooking I never recieved a booking conformation in pdf, only a standard text document. So I reached out again multiple time to the mytrip info email adress but they did not respond at all. I finally got in touch via facebook messenger, the person helping me there was not very friendly or helpful. The bookingscode I received from mytrip were not accurate at all so I could not find my booking online. After a lot of struggles Alitalia fixed the booking for me. All in all, never use Mytrip it is a fraud company only taking money and giving very poor customer support.
Fraud website, cheating and overcharging the penalty when airline full refunded. Do not buy anything from that website. That is a terrible company.
They sell you a business ticket which they acknowledge was business class. The airline refuse to honor it and they say it's not their problem. This conversation takes place the day before I leave. They offer me a full refund' that doesn't include the hotels, the car hire or the day trips and tell me I should be grateful to them for it. Total scammers.
Beware of these scammers they charged me $360 and booked me Kashgar China to Chengdu ( my final destination was Shenzhen China) but from chengdu instead of sending me to Shenzhen which is less than Three hour flight they booked me to Ho chi Min at check in I was denied boarding to Ho Chi Minh and reason was very clear as my transit from Ho Chi Minh would be to a Third country not back to China.
I was denied boarding and airline representatives were surprised why would My Trip would send me to Vietnam when they could book me from chengdu to Shenzhen.
As a US passport holder I was good for transit visa to a third country but these geniuses wanted me to go to Vietnam wait 10 hours then take a flight back to China (Shenzhen).
I had to go through a great deal of stress and spend hundreds of dollars again to but new ticket for Shenzhen.
I called and emailed customer services that they booked me wrong why would they send me to Vietnam? They just kept sending me these stereotypes emails.
Once again be careful while booking with these fraud and cheat site.

I booked my flights for my birthday through Skyscanner, as they were the cheapest. After booking I googled Mytrip and the proceeded to freak out at people writing I had been scammed.
Nothing was further from the truth. I called customer service to confirm my flight. Booked in without trouble. And my flight went ahead with no dramas. I went with no additional extras that they charge for and everything went without a hitch.
I do recommend Mytrip. Just read what you are buying (baggage etc). The reviews seem to be fear monger if from people who made errors when booking, then expected others to fix it.

This is really the type of sales an marketing organizations that ads nothing, just takes commissions and turns away when they need to deliver. Stay away!
