Bought a Gucci wallet on sale from them. Seller claimed origin price is $695. The price tag in wallet shows the origin price is $495. I called seller twice and the agent needed to talk to her manager and promised to call me back, they never did.

I placed my order on 9/23 and it got here on 10/4. My purchase came packaged really nicely, and in GREAT condition. I got my product for 60% retail, and I couldn't be happier. I'm going to shop here again. I admit I was a bit worried with the reviews I read around the net, but 2 weeks was quick enough for me. Love Hautelook, my new guilty pleasure. :)

The 2 times I've purchased from this site the merchandise received was DIFFERENT than what was pictured. I purchased a $50 gold necklace that was described as being 30" in length (I specifically wanted a long necklace). When I received it, it was only 16". I called Customer Service to complain and the woman asked me "MAYBE YOU MEASURED IT WRONG. DID YOU MEASURE IT LENGTHWISE?" Did she think I was an idiot?

Then just recently I ordered Ben Sherman bag for my husband. The strap was shown to have a white racing stripe on it (the main reason why my husband wanted it.) We received it yesterday and the strap is solid black.

I will not be shopping here anymore!

This site is a joke compared to Gilt, RueLaLa and OneKingsLane. They are having a sale today with "Exclusive Ave Six Furniture" and they are claiming the retail prices are 3x what they really are. The same exact furniture (same brand etc) sells at WALMART for the same "sale" price they have. They are claiming a Ave Six Chaise retails for $900 when it retails for $399. Don't trust this site at all stick to the ones who are actually honest about the designers they carry.

Unbearably long wait

Unbearably long wait. I wished I would've read any of these reviews before purchasing. On the item description page it said "Item will arrive in 10 - 14 business days", but right after you place the order the order status page says that the item will get shipped on a date that is almost a month after the date of purchase! By then this item is going to be out of season and out of style, and if your weight fluctuates you probably won't even be able to fit into it! Gilt all the way, they ship rightaway! Never doing HauteLook again, their business model is bogus.

I was really happy shopping with Haute look until I realized that they are SCAM artists. I was purchasing some jewelry from H2 Hammerman and it was listed on their site as 56% off. So just by chance I decided to check out the prices elsewhere, well GUESS what, the prices on Hautelook were inflated by 20% to 30% over even SAKS FIFTH AVENUE (regular not discount). So instead of getting 50% off actually you are getting 20%. They are INFLATING the price over what it is normally sold retail so that you think you are getting a bigger discount! CHECK IT OUT people. THIS IS AN ILLEGAL PRACTICE. I caught them on this and let them know and they were extremely rude to me after I have spend thousands of dollars on their website.

A friend of mine bought from here when they first started and had a really bad experience. Recently others I have known have bought from them and got some really great deals. I joined a month ago and they really have got better I think. Solid deals and their bags in particular are much cheaper than retail.

I used to think this site was lousy, compared with RueLaLa, but lately, they've been having better merchandisers and sales. I don't mind the longer wait time (RueLaLa has been getting longer, too), and I have gotten some really good bargains. You can also search clothing by size, which is a time saver. Overall, my impression and experience has improved a lot.

I admit that it does take Haute look sometime. However, I buy when things are 75% off and have got some real bargains. A while back I bought 5 Fontenay watches sat 91% off; some presents; some not. I get so many compliments. I only had problems with one patent leather bag which smelt funny.

Their customer service is good. They also ship Canada Post which is better than UPS when you live in a condo.

I also order alot from Sierra Trading and Nordstroms who are very fast.

Haute Look has much better selection.

Maybe it is because I'm older but I do not have to have everything YESTERDAY.

I ordered two watches thru their watch blowout sale (one for me, one for my fiancee, it will be our matching watch and wedding gift). I got them in the mail yesterday (took only about 10 days) and was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy! They all come in original box WITH the white protective boxes. The watches were gorgeous and had all the protective films still on. I love Hautelook!

I read about this site on O magazine and it was named an editor's choice. They have a limited selection of sizes but a great range of designer brands. Right now they are giving away $20 credit to everyone who you refer so I thought I would post here and spread the word, but I'm not too sure how I will get credit for that. The variety of the merchandise is not bad but the customer service is unbelievably bad! I bought a bag, weeks later I get an email with a tracking number. I call the post office to track the number and they tell me that the tracking number is from two years ago(2008). I send 32 emails(not a figure of speech, I actually did send 32 emails in two weeks) and I get two precooked answers that I have to wait and that the package will finally arrive finally, I call Hautelook HEADQUARTERS! Talk to one of the MANAGERS(!)and she tells me that the package is lost and she will give me refund after 23 days of waiting for the bag! Absolutely horrible! Go on Gilt and beyondtherack they have amazing customer service, the packages arrive within two weeks max and the customer service actually DOES HAVE some sense of responsibility.

I placed an order for 2 items and because I didn't check out in time, I only got one of my items, yet on checkout it showed that I got both items. I called to complain and the lady on the phone said, I was too slow checking out and if I had bothered to read their terms and conditions I would know this and "that is the way the cookie crumbles". Can you believe someone would say this to a customer?
