I ordered a costume, paid with my credit card, it came but didn't fit properly so I messaged to exchange it and they said to send it back and I would get a gift card to use to purchase the costume a size up. Although it was the same costume, the next size up was about $10 more so I paid using the gift card as well as my credit card for the difference. Almost a month after I ordered and the package still hadn't arrived. I messaged again and they said that it was lost in the mail and that I could get a refund to my original method of payment. Which they said was a partial gift card and partial credit card refund. I asked multiple times about just getting a refund not via gift card as I am never ordering from them again after this experience. They could even take a restocking fee even though I didn't receive the costume, and their response was that the Manager said that the refund was issued correctly. Disgusting that you take my money and not deliver a product after forcing me get a gift card in order to make the exchange.
First year was wrong size, still had to pay for both since the returned one didn't make it to them, lost somewhere supposedly. So thought ok will give them a try again but this year I didn't even get the correct costume. Ordered the men Witcher costume and was sent some girl aliens thing. When I contact them all I get told is sorry we have sold out of that one in the size! But we are sending you a return label for the incorrect one. Now have to pay a different company extra shipping to get in time and am pretty sure they will "not receive the return item" do not use them! Calling my credit card company and letting them know so I can discuss making sure they don't give the company the money! Ridiculous and not cool!
So I've ordered many costumes. Some have been AMAZING. Some.meh... I think it's just personal opinion. They're better than other online costumes I've ordered. The only issue is sending things back if it doesn't work out. It's not free return full refund. It's only free if you choose "fun bucks". So you better love your order!
I ordered a costume for my son on September 29. When I check the tracking it says label created but not in system, and this is almost a month later. I emailed the company and they don't answer. $50 gone and now I need find a new costume right before Halloween. Save your money.

The selection was great. The product quality was amazing. My daughters costume is thick and warm, not made of flimsy material. She is obsessed with it and won't take it off. I was so impressed I ordered an additional 3 costumes for the rest of my family. Great customer service too, and fast shipping!

Tried to write a review on their site - of course it's not publishing. Don't believe their site reviews, they are clearing not showing all reviews. I ordered a 12-18 month costume for my toddler. The costume fits fine but they are selling the same size HAT for their 0-3 month old version and the 12-18 month old version. In what world does a 0-3 month old have the same size head as an 18 month old. Only option was to return the whole thing for a different size (which any larger the costume itself would be too large) And if I return it, they charge you an EIGHTEEN PERCENT restocking fee. Don't buy from this company, their customer service stinks and their website's reviews are dishonest.
When there was a problem with my original order, they emailed me properly to notify me. I was able to make a few changes and the offered to send out the new order with a quicker shipping process. My order arrived very fast, in time for my holiday event! BTW, the costume is perfect, nice construction. Be sure to order a size larger than you normally would, as I saw suggested in another review. This year's costume: Edgar Allan Poe.

Most disorganized company ever! Ordered costume on the 6th of October and paid for delivery on the 18th. Had not received shipping confirmation so I did live chat on the 16th. They confirmed it was being shipped and would arrive by the 18th for my event on the 20th. Did not receive shipping confirmation so inquired again on the 18th. I was informed it was out of stock! Now I have no costume for event as they confirmed everything as being shipped! My refund will take 3-5 days but you took money immediately for an item you did not even have! Would not recommend!

Quality was absolutely horrible, I received mine with a big rip on the dress skirt, a five year old can sew better than whoever made this costume, to pay $70 for trash I could of easily thrown my money out the window, lesson learned, and I will not refer anyone to this site!

I purchased a costume 10 days ago from www/haloweencostumes.com and it arrived yesterday. I didn't open the packaging as I found that they are just a middleman for https://forplaycatalog.com. I paid over $70 while forplay sells this item for $48. I called haloweencostumes and had to wait for 38 minutes for the phone to be answered.
I asked them for a price match. The answer was no.
I asked them if I could return. The answer was no.
I asked to tap to a supervisor. She said I could return but I would have to pay for shipping and a 18% restocking fee. That adds up to $30.
Stay away from halloween costumes and shop at many other online stores that have good return/exchange/pricematch policies
