Glyde has been a super simple tool for me to be able to buy all types of media. Games, Books, DVDs and Blu-Rays. You name it, they got it. Used and New. I have yet to see a price gouge on their site. And when there is it seems to be more of a rare edition of something than just a standard price gouge.

Their purchasing method is almost too easy. As it remembered my billing address and everything for me. I simply click on what I want and boom, I bought it, and it will be shipped soon.

This bit me in the fanny one time, as I had changed offices, and I like getting things delivered to my office. Instead it was delivered to my old office. I reached out to customer service, which apologized at first that they couldn't do anything. Yet within the next couple of days, I received my books at the new address! So something must have worked out.

I recommend Glyde to all my friends. They think I work for them I love it so much. Anyways, I don't so this is a pure review from a very satisfied customer.

Never shipped my item, ordered it over 10 days ago, they keep giving me bull$#*! reasons why I can't cancel the order, and all they can tell me is "it will ship soon"

Would not recommend them to anyone.

I ordered Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs for Xbox 360 for my sons birthday. After 20 days passed I still do not have the game. I looked everywhere for a contact number and they do not have one, so the only way to contact them is through email. I contacted through email and let them know they charged me for shipping and this item was for my sons birthday and that I wanted my money back. They gave me the run around for a few days and placed blame on a seller that me as a customer had no way of contacting or rating at all. They finally told me they were going to give me a refund and talk to the seller to find out what happened. As of right now I don't have my money and my son will not get the gift he asked for for his birthday. Me personally I will never buy from the site again because I don't see a need to use a "Middle Man" to purchase something from a seller. There are PLENTY of sites that allow you to rate them, give you contact info, and allow you to deal with the seller directly.

I have sold about a 1/2 dozen movies so far, and have not had a single issue. Some of the deposits take a bit longer than others to actually get put into my account, but I assume this is due to the buyer needing adequate time to make sure the movie works and was in the condition I said it was in. Still, I've been paid for every thing I've sold so far so I have no complaints.

They send the mailer (and charge you for it) and from there it's simply a matter of putting your movie or game or whatever into it and dropping it into a mailbox. I jotted down the tracking number of each mailer so I could assure myself that things had been delivered, and each time they had. Shipping is via media mail so it can be very slow sometimes. On average glyde takes roughly 12% of your sale for thier percentage and the mailer fee, so factor that in when deciding to sell between here and ebay. It is very easy to use for people intimidated by ebay, so if you want something pretty hassle-free then this is definitely the site for you.

One minor annoyance is the site won't let you create your own price. They have predetermined "market values" assigned to everything in their database, and you can only move the price a dollar or two above that. It doesn't make much sense when you're selling something rare and it's the only one on the site (after all, a seller's market is a seller's market, so you should be able to set any price you want). You may be better off trying ebay if that's your situation.

DON'T SELL OR BUY ANYTHING IN THIS WEBSITE.

Sold three games on this website and never got the money deposited into my bank account. They don't have a phone number and they don't answer e-mails.

I used it a few times to buy games, then i accidentally clicked on buy on an item I was just looking at. There was no confirm, no cancel method, NOTHING. THEY TRAP YOU IN BUYING STUFF AND CHARGE YOUR CARD FOR THINGS YOU DONT WANT.

SCAMY BULL$#*! DO NOT USE!

I have purchased and sold a few items on Glyde. Not only did I have no problems with the company and their tactics, and ended up finding some great deals, the one incident I did have was solved very well.

I had purchased an Xbox 360 game. It was a fairly cheap game, I only paid 3.50 for it, plus shipping. The game was listed on the site as "Excellent Condition". This requires that the game is in the original case, includes the manual, and everything is in like-new condition. Unfortunately, although the game was in good condition, the case was not. The game would not stay inside the case, there was no manual, and it had one of those generic Gamestop inserts. Certainly not Excellent condition. I sent them an email explaining the issue, asking if he can receive a bad seller's rating or something, and not only did they put a mark on his account, they refunded me half of the sale price out of their pockets! Very pleased. Most online businesses have little to no customer service, often not replying to emails, and supplying no phone number. I received my response within 24 hours.

Now everyone go buy my listings =DD

I have purchased 100 items from Glyde and only had problems with 4 transactions. I highly recommend this site to anyone looking for games at a fraction of store prices. Customer Service is awesome and the response time is very high.

My son had ordered 2 Wii games through this company and never received them. Their customer service is almost non existent and they are not willing to take responsibility for full liability for the lost games. It would be smart for one to stay away from this company. There are so many other great sites online to buy from such as amazon.com, buy.com or some of the game sites will also mail directly to a buyer too.

I was skeptical about the low price for a new product. When I e-mailed customer service they quoted me the policy that new is in original packaging, never opened. When I got the DVD in the mail there was no shrink wrap packaging and the actual discs were in slide in CD protectors. I have NEVER seen any type of DVD packaged this way. This may have been an isolated incedent, but I will never use this website again.

This site is a great place to sell and buy your games. I had so many PS3 games just sitting and gathering dust on the shelf. I was able to sell them and buy something new!

The game was great as well as the shipping. Though it took quite a while (2 weeks) it arrived and in the condition just as stated.

Really easy to find what you are looking for. The website design is very clean and instead of making you shift through all the different options to buy (like with Amazon or Ebay where they tell you new or used, and then give you a multitude of options to choose from), Glyde gives you the best deal up front for whether you want New or Used. The only problem is probably that they don't always have all games in stock, which is always a concern with shopping based solely on user supply.

Glyde is awesome!
January 1, 2011

Glyde is awesome! I get way more money for my used video games then I would anywhere else. It's also super easy and convenient. They send me an envelope to place my game in and I just put it in the mail. Couldn't be an easier way to buy and sell games.
