I have ordered a few times from glyde, and have had a great experience each time. I find that glyde is often the cheapest for games and dvds. (I am an experienced online shopper, I know good deals). I will admit that not every item is a deal, but there is so much QUICK turnaround, that you don't have to wait long for your desired item to reach your price point. The shipping for me (midwest) has taken less time than they predict, and is only a bit slower than you might expect from ebay or amazon. Remember that this is only because the seller has to wait a day or two to get the selling envelope from glyde before shipping.
The interface is attractive and simple. Selling appears to be as easy as buying. This is a wonderful alternative for buying media. TRY IT.

Up until about a month ago I never had any real issues w/ this site... I had ordered some games and movies and sold some of our own to them. Actually, initially I had registered w/ the site to sell games but then realized that Glyde wouldn't actually be depositing $ into my account but instead be crediting my account so I could buy stuff from them... ok, that should have been my first sign to stay away! Then Christmas came around and I had the credit to get some gifts for the kids. Here's their second strike... the movie that i had purchased came about 2 weeks later than what was originally told. I complained but all was said was that "while most sellers send the products in a timely fashion, there are some that don't". Ok, whatever! Now, what I'm dealing w/ is that I finally got a game sent to me that I ordered almost a month ago... the package came in the mail, I opened it up and it was the game case and manual and NO GAME! Third strike and they're out! I obviously sent a few emails and have had no response from their reps about it, even though their auto reply states that I would be contacted within 24 hrs. NEXT STEP IS BBB. It's a total crap shoot w/ this site... STAY FAR AWAY!

SO FAR; All of my purchases from Glyde have been good experiances, good pricing, good quality products, quick turn around through the mail, and no hidden shipping and handling charges. I've never had a bad product so I can't talk about how well they would handle that. I've bought PS3 Games about 3 or 4 times and I alway save from 25% to 35% over what most "Discount Stores" charge. Sometimes I buy used and can save even more. I do tell my friends about them, and some of my friends are playing Glyde purchased games too.

I have been buying and selling video games on this site since I saw them featured on Gamespot.com. I have not been disappointed so far on either end as a buyer or seller. The prices are very affordable compared to Gamestop and are competitive with Amazon. It is much easier to sell games on here since they send you the mailer, their seller percentage is also lower than Amazon. If you are the least bit interested in buying or selling any form of media entertainment check this site out. Their interface is really easy to use and their credit card and bank decryption is just as good as Amazon.
One thing to understand however is that the products you receive do not come from Glyde. People put items up for sale (you can too). Their dispute policy is very fair if you receive a game that is not in the condition listed. This is happened to me only once and it was resolved quickly.

Though Glyde's system might not be without its flaws, their customer service is quite amazing. I have ordered a TON of games on this site, and less than 5% of the time there have been problems with the orders. What has kept me coming back is how understanding and helpful their customer sevice is in helping to resolve these issues.

I was sold a stolen Iphone 4. I bought the phone, and I was going to be out of town during their 48 hour "check for issues to return no questions asked" period, and I was told that if there were any issues, that I could talk to them to possibly allow for a return. I got the phone for my husband for Christmas, and when we went to activate it, we were told that it was listed on Verizon's lost or stolen list and could not be activated. DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THIS SITE! THEY DON'T CHECK TO SEE WHAT PEOPLE ARE SELLING!

11 days shipping in the continental us LOL really? Ordered a game on 10 or 11th of nov. With the utmost excitement for the game, now glyde alone has killed my thrill to play this new game thats come out. Honestly 3.66 for 11day shipping is highway $#*!ing robbery and a fraudulent as $#*! exploit of the united states postal service. Will find them on yelp to dog them too.

I followed every direction given. Listed my games as they were and all that. After I hit 50 dollars, it locked my account. Now I'm out games and the 57.00 that Glyde was supposed to pay me for the games. This site is Bull$#*!. Capital "B".

This company is horrible, I purchased a game 19 days ago and still don't have it. They keep telling me it will be here. I tried to cancel the order, even though the game had not shipped and they won't allow it. DON'T BUY IF YOU ARE IN ANY HURRY, IT TAKES FOREVER TO GET YOUR PURCHASE!

I sold about 18 games and bought one game. All went perfectly without any problems. List your game and someone buys your product. It takes a couple of days to get the mailer and then you send the game in the mailer to he/she who bought it. Takes about a week to get to the buyer. They got two days they say the game is in bad condition or not. If they don't reply the money is yours.

On Glyde.com you can't go over a certain price for games. But yeah you want to stay competitive with other sellers of the same game. Some I want to list can't be sold.

Sincerely,
Eric

This is a fourth purchase with Glyde and as always it was a breeze. Ordered on Thursday and it was delivered on the next Tuesday. You can beat them for customer service. Glyde is number one. Amazon is a close second.

I have a total of 21 transactions on Glyde: 5 Sales and 16 Purchases. Every single one was as easy as they say. The transaction fees are reasonable and what I received on each sale was much higher than if I traded in my games at a local game store. Every game that purchased has been in the appropriate condition AND I've saved a boatload of money on them.

I'll continue to use them as they have been reliable and their site is extremely easy to use. Factor in the cost savings on purchases and how much I've made on sales... and this site is a win/win. I highly recommend that you give them a try.

Throughout my buying and selling experience on Glyde, I have encountered nothing but top-notch customer service (despite my several mistakes) and incredible ease on both ends of a sale. When something goes wrong with a sale, Glyde is amazingly fair to both the buyer and seller. I recommend Glyde as highly as any other website I have ever used for buying or selling media.

Its so great, I don't have to package the game myself and it gets here at the right time. The best thing about it is that the games are cheaper than the stores games and they send you the package to put your game in when you sell a game.

Glyde is an excellent site for people that want to buy or sell games fast. I love Glyde because it's easy to sell and buy a game, the games are also very cheap compared to other companies. Lastly, if for some reason the item you bought does not get to you then Glyde will always be on your side!

I was feeling nostalgic and love the Patapon series, so I go online and search for patapon games, and what do you know, glyde has it for a fourth of its original value. So I buy it from glyde and next week bam! I get my game in excellent condition and they even collaberate with me while its being shipped to make sure I got it! Overall, its all I could really ask for.

My first experience with Glyde was on 3/1/10 and I have been using the service ever since. I only use this website for video games and have not been disappointed yet. When I do make a purchase however, I always try to get a copy of the game at excellent or better quality. And I do not go for any games that are recently released. I have sold to day 21 games and have received 17, and only 1 came with a minor chip in the case, no delays, no problems with any of the people that sold me a game. I also use the site to gauge what the price is of certain games, and watch for prices to fall within my personal limit of what I would pay for it and then I pick up the game (with that extra 4 dollars shipping). By doing that I have bought many games for around 10-20 dollars final price and feel like I got a good deal.

You have to realize that this sites quality is based on how on top of things the person selling is to get the game to the one that bought it. If you go for a popular game, or during times of holiday there is a good chance you might have to wait more time. Or maybe like what happened to me recently, I had to go out of town and was unable to get a game sent within the time frame that Glyde set up for me. They asked if I had already sent out the game and I told them I was going to be a little late. Stuff like this happens and I can understand that it sucks not to get something in the time that you would have wished, but it all has to do with how well and honest the seller is. Glyde is the middle man and has to take the brunt of problems and try to remedy things as well as they can. Also, when I was first using the service out of habit I would take pictures and video of all my games just in case there was some sort of dispute.

That comes to an issue I do have with Glyde and that is I wish there was some sort of way to be able to anonymously see the quality of the seller before you buy from them and a way for the buyer to vote up a positive sale so you can be more trusting of what you are getting and not always feel like its a roll of the dice that you might get a lemon.
Oh, and also customer service is through email only but that is how I deal with most sites anyway.

Overall the site works well, the interface is clean and easy to use. While I am always worried about when I buy, I have no problems using it to sell. I come back to the site daily just to watch the prices change and when I see a good deal, I snatch it up. I have recommended this site to my friends and a few have actually signed up and have used it without any problems. I highly recommend it as long as you be wary that you are buying from a stranger, not Glyde directly.
