Glyde has some very good offers for their phones and that makes it the best phone shop that I have come across online. I decided to give it a shot after my friend suggested it to me and I am glad to know what I made the right decision because I was able to get a good phone from them and that is what really matters.
I like the great service that they offered me I had some questions about one of the things they were selelign and they were able to answer my question and i was ablett buy what I wanted. That si the kind of good service that I always want and it is the good service that I got.
I recently purchased a iPhone xs max from Glyde and am very happy with the like new condition. Received the phone in a very timely manner. Works great no problems. Will definitely use Glyde again when the time comes to purchase another phone.
I sent in my iPhone for a cash offer of $80. My phone was in perfect/like new condition. I thought it was off they didn't send a package to ship it in, but no fear, I packed mine with bubble wrap, inside two bubble wrap padded envelopes.
A week later I get an email saying my offer changed because my iPhone was not in the condition I said. I check on the website (which is quite possibly the worst on the Internet) and it said they were offering me $23 because my screen was broken.
I'm sorry what? I immediately looked for a phone number to call. Nope, this "legitimate" business has no phone number. I sent numerous messages. After a week Ishai said they have to do a final offer. So today I check and it is $32.
This is fraud. My phone was without scratch, mark, or flaw. Who am I to argue? If I ask to see it they are not going to show me my phone. How would I even know if it was mine or someone else's.
I'm livid, I'm disgusted, and I will post this information everywhere I can until everyone knows this place is a complete fraud.
I bought a phone that was "factory unlocked phone" Well it isn't. I tried to add it to my Verizon account and was told I couldn't because it's locked. There is NO customer support #! And their customer support email bounces back to me. This sucks! I hope they help me. I submitted something through their website. I hope that works but it seems like it went to a black hole.
I purchased an iphone from Glyde in May of 2019. It was a good price and when the phone was received it was in great shape. What got me interested to buy from them was the buy back program they offered. I have contacted them two times, once on May 6 and again on May 26 trying to get an answer to a question and the buy back program. There immediate auto reply states that, "Your business is important to us and we will get back to you soon". I don't think this is true. I don't think they will ever reply by the looks of my situation and reading the reviews on this site. I would say, "Buyer Beware"!
Soni was in the market to upgrade my 7 plus to a 8 plus. There are tons of deals out there. I almost didn't go with Glyde. I was invested mentally in Decluttr as they had really great pricing. Right aw I was about to purchase it online... something said to check their reviews again. So this time I got on BBB and the reviews were in large number but very unfavorable. Issues left and Right so I continued searching. Found Glyde and made the purchase with them for a pristine iPhone 8 plus unlocked. When I tell you they shipped it fast and it was basically a new phone with screen protector already perfectly assembled. Actually typing the review right now from it. Will definitely do business again as I am impressed.
You're a fool if you buy or sell through them. They have NO way to contact them except for email and a contact page which they will not answer at all. The iphone they sent was defective. Crooks.
We ordered a new iPhone XS Max from Glyde and traded-in an iPhone 6s Plus. The initial transaction is very simple. You complete a quiz on your trade-in, order and pay for your new phone with the understanding you have 14 days to send in your old phone. Upon receipt of our new iPhone X and subsequent transfer of data, we returned the old iPhone 6s Plus. That is where the trouble starts. We have yet to receive credit for our trade-in phone (supposed to be a credit to the credit card you purchased the new phone with). Glyde states you will receive credit within 7 days, we are approaching 15 days. I have sent several emails (they don't have a phone number to call) without a reply. And the email they list on their website "*******@glyde.com" does not work, the email gets returned, you can only contact them through their Customer Support Template page. Not sure what my next course of action is, but I can tell you Glyde customer service is horrible and I will never purchase from them again!
Ordered an iPhone 8 for $275. Arrived in under 3 days. Perfect condition other than a few barely noticeable scratches on the screen. Works great, very happy with the purchase.
They offered to buy my phone as part of their trade in program. I sent it to them and was to be paid out in 3 days. That was nearly a month ago. At first they were apologetic, promising to fix the situation. Now they aren't returning emails and in the last reply I had from them they said " if I sent them my phone" even though I have emails confirming that they have it as well as confirmation from fedex on who signed for it when they received it. Very shady, they lie and in my opinion are compete scammers. Beware!
If I could give zero stars, I would. Never got my trade-in credit after multiple emails to follow up. Then they sent an email saying that the phone I traded in had been reported as lost or stolen and was no eligible for a trade-in credit. This total BS as I bought the phone and never reported it as lost or stolen. Now having to go through a dispute with my credit card company to get the $ I was promised. Stay away!
Purchased what was advertised as a "like new" iPhone XS Max from Glyde, which advertises themselves as taking only the best pre-owned devices, meticulously going over every inch to make sure the devices listed for sale are exactly as advertised. After placing my order and receiving a confirmation email, I patiently waited for my shipping notification and tracking number. Nothing. Next day, nothing. Tried, unsuccessfully, to reach someone at the company for that info. This is another area that is a total waste. There is literally almost no customer service whatsoever. I went through the weekend with no response or shipping notification. On Monday, I sent another email asking for tracking as my phone had still not shipped. Magically, I received an email with tracking. When the phone arrived, it had a screen protector already installed which immediately set off my alarms. I removed the protector to find the screen completely full of scratches with the upper right hand corner of the screen covered with deep scratches.
I immediately sent an email describing what condition the phone was in (nowhere near like new) and that I would like a return label and full refund, as that's what their site advertises so heavily, "We've Got Your Back!". I've since sent three more emails and have received absolutely no response. I've tried tweeting them but get zero in return.
My advice? Stay far, far away from this site. Doing some digging, it appears they're no more than a middle man for outside sellers to peddle their phones through which is why there is almost no customer and zero help. Use Swappa. They've never let me down and check all the right boxes.
Buying a pre-owned phone can not only be very expensive but nerve wracking at the same time as you're putting your trust in the other party to advertise, provide and deliver what they're advertising. Based on my experience, Glyde certainly does not fit this bill.
Ordered a phone for Christmas and then realized it was the wrong GB I immediately emailed Glyde (no phone support whatsoever). I told them I ordered the wrong phone gave them the order number and then told them I ordered the proper phone and gave them that order number. I asked that they not ship the first phone. Well... they shipped both. I followed the instructions in the box to return the first phone. Know that you order through a marketplace and not through Glyde the themselves. I called the company BuySpry that was the company listed in the box and they sent a return label with instruction to return the phone. I followed the instructions to the letter. Phone was returned the same day. Five days later I called BuySpry and said they had received the phone according to tracking numbers and they said they would issue a refund. Ten days later still no refund and Glyde will not answer emails.
Save yourself the grief. Don't buy through a marketplace. Definitely don't pay with PayPal.
BuySpry was rude. Basically told me not to call them anymore and that my complaint was with Glyde and they were the only ones that could issue the refund. BuySpry took the phone back, but they can't give you your money back.
What a convoluted mess. Save yourself the grief.
My experience with Glyde was HORRIBLE. I am not one at all to be demanding, but I spent almost $400 on a phone that is not functional. I needed the phone by a particular date (and ordered it with plenty of time), did not receive it in a timely fashion (took a month), I finally receive it and it is not what it was listed as at all (there was a scratch on the camera lens and the charger did not come with it as described), and then they would not even allow me to return it when it was not even close to the description on the site. I contacted them within 24 hours and they said that I didn't and therefore was out of compliance. Do not use this site unless you want to get ripped off
I ordered two separate phones two weeks ago. I received one in two days. The other one is lost. You cannot talk to a human being. Email only. After many emails I still do not have any help from Glyde. I finally contacted my credit card company and had the charge taken off of my account and have ordered from a different company. I will never buy from Glyde again.
If you are thinking of using this company and have reservations there is a reason! This company has the worst customer service EVER! Even worse you can't bank on getting what you "think" your buying! I learned a HUGE rule of thumb through this nightmare don't EVER work with a company or anyone for that matter that is going to be taking your money that does not have a phone number to provide in the event there is a problem! ESPECIALLY when there is a problem!
My daughter had her phone stolen and she is soon off to college so we needed to get her a new phone the cheapest way possible. We decided to go with Glyde because we thought it would be safer and might get a better deal... WRONG! Not only did we NOT get the phone in the picture (wrong color) but it had scratches that were not only NOT disclosed but my daughter had paid extra for a "certified" phone (which meant that it would be the best quality you could get... in other words NO scratches) In our opinion it should of been in mint condition plus it also meant that you could get the phone sooner and shipping would be expedited. Instead it did not arrive when stated (in spite of the extra money we paid for that "certified") but also the wrong color and with scratches... REALLY?! My daughter had to leave on a trip without a phone and that is just not okay! Especially when we notified them immediately (as best we could since they have no phone number to reach them!) via email. Once they knew that we should have never had the money taken from her account or at best returned immediately. The money should not be released to seller until customer has received it and "satisfied!". Glyde knew we were not keeping it and sending it back a. S.a. P. Once they knew that they should have released our money so we could of at least had time to get her another phone before she left! Great lesson here any company that does not have the integrity or professionalism to provide a number in the event that there is a problem should NOT be in business! NO EXCUSE Glyde!
Bought iPhone 6 that was supposed to be "excellent." Phone arrived dirty (repulsive, greasy face marks on the glass), and was password protected, as well as still attached to previous owner's Apple account. The kicker is the phone itself is broken! The screen is no longer touch responsive! So angry. Multiple emails to "customer service" have not been answered. Now waiting for "return kit" and money refund. Will be seeking s chargeback from credit card company first thing in the morning. DO NOT SHOP HERE!
My daughter bought her iPhone from Glyde and had a good experience. I asked her to find one for me, and she spent a great deal of time searching to find me the best deal. She alerted me when she found it, and I ordered immediately. I was so excited and ran out to buy a case and tempered glass protector because it was expected to come in about 5 days. I've been checking my mailbox daily, and just now got a message that the person who was selling the iPhone6 did not fulfill their end of the bargain, so there is no phone and my order is cancelled. Supposedly I will get a refund; i have not seen anything from Glyde yet. Stay away from Glyde. They are not reputable, and you are wasting your time with them. There are plenty of other bad reviews on this and other sites, so that tells you something about who you are dealing with.
Placed an order for an iphone. After one week I emailed customer service and it was on hold pending more information on the credit card I used to pay. Waited another week and when I emailed customer service again I received this email from Julie the Manager at Glyde. Thanks for nothing Julie. I paid for an entire month of cellular service waiting for this phone to arrive. After the threat from Julie the manager at glyde to put my account on hold, I will NEVER again do business with Glyde. Buyer beware!
"As previously indicated, I have re-opened your account, but please be sure to review your information before placing another order.
I should let you know that if you continue to experience issues with your credit card, we will have to put your account on hold again.

Glyde Customer Service"
Answer: Glyde is a great companyi did have a bad experence with a purchase but glyde sent out a return label on them and i was credited really quick. When dealing with companies on the internet i use my amazon or my paypal so that way its not hlding up my personal account. At any rate my issue was the person that sold me the phone had sent me a phone that was originally a sprint phone but flashed to cricket carrier when i tried to switch it to sprint they werent able to program the phone and i was already a customer only they couldnt figure out why. When we were programming the phone it showed the name cricket as we completed a reset of the system. So most people these days they jailbreak phones or flash maybe another work at any rate your covered regardless but i would recommend
