I ordered flowers to be delivered to my mother for her birthday. I paid the extra fee for delivery before noon and was given a written guarantee (that is also posted on their website) that the flowers would look exactly as the picture does. The flowers arrived just after 3 and were brown, dying & not even the flower arrangement I had ordered! I could've bought a nicer bouquet at Wal-Mart for goodness sake. I was denied a full refund and am currently fighting for at least a partial. Save your money and skip the hassle. Disappointed doesn't even cover it.
I am never to bash a company or leave a terrible review, but the below comment is actually just my experience, and there's no other way to put it.
Despite the numerous negative comments I had read, I decided to place an order with FromYouFlowers. (BIG mistake). I had put it through on Sunday, and my delivery date was Monday, by end of day. It was for one of my friends who was taking the MCATs this week, and I wanted to give him a little something to help get through studying (I ordered him a snack gift basket).
When the end of the day on Monday rolled around, my tracker had not been updated, so I gave the company a call, thinking maybe it just never got updated. WRONG. My package was never delivered. No big deal, his test wasn't until Friday, so I politely asked if they could just make sure it be delivered on Tuesday. They said fine and apologized. I thought my problem was solved.
Tuesday rolls around, still no updated tracker information, and I just let it slide, to be completely honest I kind of forgot.
Wednesday-- NOTHING. Now I start to get pretty annoyed. I emailed FromYouFlowers, and they did have a quick response, but I felt like it was an automated email response, like I was talking to a robot. They kept promising to ''tell me of any updates'' and even ASSURED me that my package went out on time and had been delivered... COMPLETE LIES.!
So, today is Thursday. My package still hasn't been delivered, and even though I just got off the phone with them and they promised to delivery it first thing today, my outlook is hazy.
This website is not only a scam, but a complete rip-off (that basket was NOT cheap, neither was the rush delivery and shipping charges).
Sorry FromYouFlowers, but you need to SERIOUSLY step up your game.
Proceed with caution everyone! My advice is to make your own basket/bouquet to send to your friend/loved one/family/etc. You can track it with UPS and you'll feel much better knowing your package actually got delivered on time.
Good luck!
Avoid Fromyouflowers.com! Their customer service is TERRIBLE. The florist they used took advantage of our out of town order for a funeral. The florist deceitfully sent a small vase of old, DYING flowers (many flowers had brown edges) instead of the large arrangement of flowers we had ordered. One would think they would be apologetic and try to send a different arrangement ASAP, but NOOOOOO. Instead, different family members had to be on phone and argue with customer service of "From You Flowers" DURING THE FUNERAL to get a refund! Awful and shameful business practices! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM BOTH COMPANIES. DO NOT USE!
My recommendation is DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I ordered flowers yesterday May 25th, 2013 for same day delivery. Today May 26th, the flowers had still not arrived. After speaking with 2 representatives, a supervisor and another supervisor (all of whom were polite) I finally received a reluctant refund. Excuses were that when the first rep. Called the florist the phone was busy and he would call me back. He didn't call so I called a half hour later to speak with another rep (all well trained to sympathize with you but no help). Moving onto a supervisor and still no answer from the florist I decided either the florist wasn't open or this company never sent the request in. I asked for a refund that at first was denied. Requesting to move up the chain of command I then received a refund. No One tried to make anything right (ie send out flowers for free to ensure I would use them again etc, promptly find a florist to send out flowers today). There is no guarantee at all other than frustration with this company. Mr. CEO you need to take a look at your company and how YOU do business. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I'm awaiting a call on Tuesday from another rep from the company. Lets see if this happens.
After two horrible experiences I hope other potential customers will find this review and stay away! Horrible service, broken promises, hidden fees, late delivery, please save your money and go elsewhere!
Fromyouflowers.com Ruining Family Relationships!
Ordered Mother's day flowers on the 3rd of May to be delivered the Friday before Mother's Day (the 10th of May 2013) Received a confirmation e-mail that the flowers had been delivered. Trusted they had been delivered cause who would send a confirmation letter if in fact they had not been delivered? On Sunday- Mother's day my husband calls his mom and asks her how she liked the flowers and her reply was that she had not received any flowers. Can you imagine being a mother and thinking that your child has missed your day? Cause, I'm pretty sure that is how she felt. I cried. I immediately called fromyouflowers.com customer service. The customer service man Paul or Pat was very apologetic and called the florist (which of course there was no answer it being a Sunday) so he couldn't help me and left it for someone else to take care of it the next day, Today. And as of 2 today no one has called me back, therefore I called again, the customer service person named Vicky put me on hold for about 5 minutes, called the florist. Gets back on the phone with me and says "They are not open for some reason, what would you like us to do?" I reply. "I want the flowers delivered and I want my *dang* money back." So, then she puts me on hold again for another 5 minutes. Comes back and tells me "The flowers will be delivered with an apology note and we can give you 25% back on your purchase, we cannot give you a full refund." You people ruined a mother's day for a mother. Hurt feelings are not taken care of with your note of apology. This is a day that we can never get back. Giving them a one star is not even deserving.
Ordered flowers for Mother's day to be delivered at work. They not only delivered it a day late, on a Saturday when no one was there, instead of leaving it with a receptionist at the front door, they left it outside the back entrance of the warehouse without notifying anyone.
Horrible company... flowers arrived 4 days late and were all dead. The company would not make it right.
I couldn't possibly be more unhappy. Normally, I order from a different company, but I got a coupon code for free shipping, so I figured I'd give it a try. On May 3 (10 days before Mother's Day) I ordered flowers for my mom with a "guaranteed delivery date" of May 10. When I went to check the tracking number to be sure it was delivered, it said "Delivery rescheduled for Monday, May 13." When I called to complain that my mother wouldn't have her flowers in time for Mother's Day, all they could say was "it's the shipper's fault, not OUR fault." That is totally unacceptable. I've never had this problem with the OTHER company I've used. FromYouFlowers is a complete scam. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE CRIMINALS
Flowers that were delivered were compost. Nothing on the stems to keep them moist. Emailed them about it with a picture and asked for a refund. They sent an email proposing to deliver new ones the next day. I call CS and after a very long delay they propose a 20% refund and a half off gift card. I insisted. Goes away and comes back twice and I will finally get my refund. Go with proflowers.com or calix & corolla. Always worked for me.
Little Rock, AR. Spent $60 on a flower arrangement for my future daughter-in-law. It was an embarrassment. They gave me a 10% refund. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM...
I will never order from this company again period! If you are going to order flowers for a special occasion, or just because, then take your business somewhere else, I dont give a damn where... just don't order from fromyouflowers. Hidden fees, late deliveries (even though I paid extra for expedited delivery), diseased flowers, and arrangements that resembled only part of what I paid for is what you can expect from this less than professional company. You will be throwing your hard earned money away by using this company, and the special occasion, or memories you are trying to create will end up in disaster.
This company should not even be aloud one star, not even half a star.
I purchased flowers for my mother-in-law who lost her daughter to cancer. I paid for expedited delivery. When the flowers did not arrive shortly after 12:00, I called to find out what was going on with the order. They gave me the run a around. At around 5:30 that evening as I am on the phone with this company once again, my mother-in-law calls on the other line letting us know the flowers arrived but it was apparent that the arrangement wasn't anything like we ordered. They weren't even the same flowers. She sent us a picture and said Thank you! This company asked that I send the picture in by email. Shortly after we got a response saying "Sorry" and that they would pick up and replace the flowers if we would like. Under the circumstances, I thought it would be in bad taste and that was my response. Then we received another email saying that they refunded 10% of the cost of the flowers and the expedited fee. Fine!
It gets worse. This all took place on a Saturday. The following Monday, they KNOCKED ON HER DOOR AND ASKED FOR THE FLOWERS BACK! She was very upset and called right away. She asked why they were taking her flowers and there response was "THATS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN PEOPLE DONT PAY THEIR BILL" I called this company immediately and asked what happened. I was so angry. Their response was that they were refunding me the full amount and I would have to wait 1-3 business days. What? I couldn't believe it. I have emails to verify they were refunding 10% of the cost and the expedited fees. How did something like this happen. They truly don't care!
I reordered her flowers from a local florist that was reputable and family owned. She loved them and admitted that the previous flowers ordered from ( from you flowers) smelled like cat urine.
This company is a bunch of frauds with deceitful marketing and masters of scamming customers. The website states same day delivery (to which you will pay extra for) but there should be a disclaimer underneath that says this is just a fraudulent ploy.
I ordered my sister flowers for her birthday early on a Saturday morning paying extra for it being a weekend, same-day delivery, and handling fee. I got a phone-call in the early evening, way to late for me to find any other alternative, saying the order couldn't be fulfilled. I was upset but let them barter with me for a Monday delivery at a discounted rate saying they would take off fees and upgrade the bouquet. Monday rolls around and at 430pm I got ANOTHER CALL saying the order couldn't be fulfilled. I was absolutely LIVID! It was now 3 days past my original order and more importantly 3 days past the special occasion and I had been lied to twice. When i called in to complain they said her town was "rural" and they couldn't deliver there... well she lives just outside Salt Lake City... with a population over a million! They eventually refunded my money and I was left back at square one. They shouldn't make claims on their site that they can do things they can't... like delivering flowers! And why didn't they tell me this the first time they called instead of hopelessly dragging me along.
COMPLETE FAIL OF A COMPANY AND I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM!
If I could have put zero stars, I would have!
BUYER BEWARE! http://Fromyouflowers.com is the WORST online ordering site I have EVER dealt with. Do NOT use this website, you might as well throw your money in the trash and pick some weeds in your front yard!
They gave me 11 roses, rather than the 12 we paid for. We purchased an arrangement with pink, lilac and fuschia roses, and we received an arrangement with orange, peach and fuschia roses with lavender thrown in.
Upon reaching out to customer service, I never received a response and more than likely never will. That would be $65 in the trash. I urge you, do NOT order from this site!
Ordered flowers for my wife on 2-11 for Valentine's Day delivery. They never showed and despite the '100% Satisfaction Guarantee' on their website which says I can get a refund or replacement at my choice, they are refusing a refund. They tried to tell me they need to contact the florist first but why should this matter? I am not satisfied so they need to honor their guarantee. Bottom line - go somewhere else. Compared to this fly-by-night organization, anyone else is a bargain at twice the price.
READ WARNINGS. Here's mine: My grandmother just had a stroke, and lost use of her entire right side. She's in need of constant 24 hour care. I am disappointed in not being able to get the flowers, I thought I was choosing, for her. The word "Winter" next to the bouquet of flowers, that had both blue and lavender colors (her favorite), appear deceiving and threw me off. If I knew that I was going to get simply red carnations and white daisies, then I would have 'chosen' those (cheap) ones. Then, when calling customer service, a manager wouldn't even speak to me, throwing the customer service representative back into the phone call to tell me "there's nothing we can do about it. I'm sorry. We can give you a $10 off gift card." I would have gladly paid MORE for the arrangement I wanted, for my dying grandmother, the FIRST time. Change the wording in the description, at LEAST, to say: "Arrangement may appear different than pictured." Unhappy and disappointed customer.
I ordered flowers to be delivered to a friend in the hospital, asking for same day delivery. The flowers were not delivered. Simple, right? I should have my money refunded, right? After 30 minutes on the phone with customer service, I was told that they took the flowers to the hospital on the right day and then had to go pick them up the next day, so they didn't want to refund my money. This makes sense on what planet? When I asked for a supervisor, there was none available. Imagine that.
Hear my warning get as far away from this "supposed company" as you can. I would love to tell my entire story but there were just so many numerous problems it would become a novel. Dealing with these people has been a complete nightmare. I have never had such terrible service. And the CNBC posting you see actually click on it and read the comments on CNBC's website and you will understand. I implore you to go somewhere else save yourself from the nightmare involved in dealing with this company, but don't just take my word for it go and read the reviews from anywhere other than there actual site and you can see all the horror stories for yourself.
FYI If I could rate them lower than 1 I would!
Answer: Truthfully I was so livid when I spoke with them that I demanded my money back since it was their error and demanded they send me an email as confirmation that I cancelled the order and that I would receive a total refund. Hope that helps
Answer: I'm sorry in advance
Answer: My delivery came at 640pm on the day it was scheduled, I checked several times during the day and couldn't get anything but thst the delivery was scheduled.
Answer: Yes I have been informed that it will be recovered due to flowers not being delivered.
Answer: That's how this company works. You can't trust a date that they've promised they'll meet. I'd get a refund, and shop elsewhere.
