I sent my card to them and it took months to hear back, only for them to return my card to me. I checked my balance when i got it, the full balance was in it, checked again four months later and my balance is $0.00. They're thieves!
Purchase a bad gift card that didnt work. Contacted multiple times about the issue and they blame the customer. They will say you gave the information out or your computer or phone is hacked. Buyer beware as youre giving your money away if this happens to you
I attempted to sell a gift card to Cardpool. After several days in review, they declined the transaction. I kept the card, figuring I'd use it eventually. Several months later, I tried to use the card only to find out that it had a zero balance. Customer service for the store told me the money was spent online using the card number and PIN. The card was in my possession the entire time, so the only way it could have been compromised is through Cardpool.
The gift card you buy is probably sold to someone else as well. I had 4 occasions where i bought gift cards and the funds became zero several weeks/months later. Luckily i was able to get my money back. However, i had a 100$ dillard's gift card that i purchased oct 2019 and was not able to use it in a timely manner due to the pandemic/ shutdown that occurred. I am 30 days past their 12months guarantee period and they won't help me nor extend their guarantee period due to this unforeseen situation.
I used to only use Cardpool for discounted gift cards because of their 1 year guarantee. However, since September 2020 they have now gotten rid of that and only offer 60 days. So the first time I ever had a problem with them was recently when I made an order and received a zero balance gift card. I read their guarantee and found that the email written within it does not exist so my email could not be delivered. I then googled their customer service phone number and called it only to find that the number is not in service. The only email I found that is real is *******@cardpool.com, however no one has replied to me in 4 days. Don't waste your money on here, there is a better alternative! I have recently started using the Honey extension and you can purchase a discounted gift card in exactly your amount due with one click! Much easier and you never get a zero balance gift card!
I bought a $75 GNC gift card and when I went to redeem it there was no money on it. I emailed cardpool and never received a reply.
I purchased a Coach e-Gift card ($250) on 12/31/2019, my family member and I didn't use it. But when we tried to use it in the Sep of this year, the balance is $0. They could have sold it to another person again. Also the ex-owner could have used it, which will be the card management problem. I spent 1 month on communicating Cardpool for refund. But their response is slow and very rude, they refuse to refund. They don't follow 1 year money back guarantee policy. They always say it is my problem: I sold it, my family member used it, or my email/phone/computer got hack. They never say it could be Cardpool's problem. They didn't manage the card well. If they didn't sell it to another person, it must be ex-owner problem. Don't trust Cardpool, very bad service. They never tried to help customer to resolve the problem. They don't take any responsibility. 1-year money-back-guarantee policy is a fraud.
I just posted a review at Trust pilot too... Cardpool insisted that the verification number is wrong, and had the nerve to tell me to update my review. Well here is the proof!
This site is a complete fraud. They sell gift cards with zero balances, this is happened to many many people, including myself. They have no customer service so there's literally no recourse if you buy a bad card. Please do not buy from them, it's not worth it to try to save a few bucks.
Cardpool "bought" my gift card ONE month ago and the funds are no longer on the gift card. I was supposed to get an amazon gift card via email within 24 hours it has now been ONE MONTH and nothing. I have emailed several times and they keep saying they'd look into it now they won't even respond to me!

Purchased a $100.00 Nordstrom gift card during June, 2020. Nordstrom refused the card, stating that it had been stolen. Cardpool brags about their 1 year gaurantee. Informed Cardpool of the problem, and they ignored Nordstrom's action and informed me that "maybe" I used the card and forgot about it. Incredible... Cardpool has never contacted Nordstrom, Cardpool responds to complaints with pre-written Emails that may not fit the issue at hand. They simply want you to go away. I have a good credit card company and I believe that they will get my refund.
Bought three ANN TAYLOR gift cards, they were supposed to have $20 in each but when I ran them in 5 different store locations and online. IT SAYS INVALID CARD NUMBER!
THEY SOLD ME JUNK!
THEY HAVE DISCONNECTED ALL THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PHONE NUMBERS for a reason because THEY ARE A BIG SCAM!
This site sold me a giftcard with a $0 balance on it. When I contacted them, they sent a cropped screenshot, showing that $0 balance. They claimed I had used the card already. I went to the restaurant's site and put in my info and sent them the SAME screenshot, this time not cropped. That revealed that the card that had been sold to me weeks ago had not been used in 6 months, but somehow had a balance of $0. They never responded, but they sure did steal my money.
DO NOT use this site! It is a scam!
I am reporting them to the FTC and anywhere else that investigated cybercrime and fraud.
They never sent me a check for my gift card it has been 8 months. I tried reaching them out multilple times
'Scam-sold cards with zero balance'. Customer service sucks, no refunds. Their 1 year guarantee just a junk. Now, I have to deal with my bank. What a waste of time. Stay far away from them.
I ordered a digital gift card from this company in March 2019 for Red Lobster. It was to be used for my mother-in-law's birthday 2 days following the purchase. This being a digital gift card, I assumed I would receive the card within 24 hours. I didn't receive this card until almost a week later. Extremely disappointed.
So, as far as gift cards go, the value is good for the lifetime of the company unless otherwise stated. I attempted to use this card in July 2020, assuming the full value should have been available since it was never used at the time of purchase. When I checked the value of the card on the Red Lobster website, it shows the card invalid or account closed.
Now, I am aware that CardPool only guarantees the authenticity of the gift card for a year, but that does not mean the card should be invalid or account closed.
I have attempted to remedy this issue with Red Lobster relations in which they redirected me back to CardPool. CardPool refuses to fix the issue, continuing to state that they only guarantee gift cards for 1 year. They refuse to even check to see if there is a remaining value on the card.
I would recommend using Raise.com before ever purchasing from this company.
I had good experience with them but not until this year. Sometime cards were delayed sometimes with zero balance(small amounts) but when I purchased 4 giftcards worth $500, I discovered that they are thief. Cards were emailed it to me after 10 weeks, after multiple inquiries on the status. I have attempted to to use one card shortly after I received it, and found out that the card had zero balance. I reached out to cardpool asked for replacement of one card or a partial refund, at that time other cards had balance on it, however I didn't use my other cards because I didn't know if cardpool would need to process a full refund on all cards or if they would process a partial refund (I was afraid that they would use that as an excuse and would deny a refund if other cards were used). They have not responded to multiple emails, they have not responded to calls. After 5 months of waiting I went back to check on the balance of my other cards, and found out that they had zero balance on it. Again reached out to Cardpool asking for a refund. Was told it was my problem. They clearly resold the same cards to other buyers. They are clearly known for this scam and that's how they're staying in business. Why are they still in business? Where are the authorities to close this shop?
I bought a Michaels gift card from CardPool and it had zero balance. They won't refund. Now I have to go to bank to get my money back. What a waste of time.
I spent 2 months calling and emailing. I finally got a response from an overwhelmed person who apologized. I requested that the entire transaction be canceled and they complied. I would not use cardpool again but I was happy to get my cards back as it was a lot of money.
I tried to sell 2 Lululemon gift cards worth about $200 for an Amazon card in return. It said 1-3 days turn around time that I'd receive the amazon card. I've emailed twice. I've tried calling and have only gotten 2 automated responses by email. I may file a police report if I don't get a response soon. I'm so upset.
I thought that it was really good. I submitted a few target gift cards, and got amazon gift cards in return. They sent them to me within a day.
Answer: They cheated me out of 75 dollars in gift cards they need to pay up
Answer: DON'T DO IT! You're just rolling the dice with this company, if there is a problem, you ave no recourse.
