I love this site quick delivery with text updates. Ok some things might be cheaper on other sites but are they as good or reliable as Amazon. Also the free music player with loads of free music from odd songs to full albums is far better than iTunes and you can shuffle to leave as background noise
Amazon has truly amazing customer service! Order from this site many times a year, if there is ever a problem with my order, no matter the seller, it is fixed in record time! Absolutely zero hassle or run-around!
I am an amazon prime member for the last few years and I would recommend them! The customer service is the best I've seen so far whether its helping locate a package or I ordered something by mistake they are always so nice and helpful and I see the results right away like when something got lost in the mail not only did they credit the item amount back to me so that I could re-order it they also gave me small discount on it with overnight shipping free of charge! Way to go amazon you guys rock!
I don't own a car, so I order everything from kitty litter to computer speakers on Amazon. There have been one or two hiccups over the course of several years of frequent orders, like an item arriving a day late, but it's mostly quick and convenient and returns are free and easy. I also love "Transparent," so the annual fee is well worth it to me.
You will not receive everything you order same day or within 2 or 3 days. Look to see where the order is coming from. Whenever I've had a problem, I contacted business directly and have never been disappointed by their response. Also Amazon will hold them responsible if they do not respond to you appropriately. These businesses depend on Amazon to help push their products. So far 99% of my shopping is done through Amazon and that has been for the past 5 yrs.
Please be aware don't buy electronic goods from Amazon prime they cheat u by delivering damaged goods n will not return or refund your amount. My order number is **************938 I received a damaged Kevin TV technician submitted the report it's damaged but still Amazon is neither refunding or exchanging the product. 3 of my friends has faced same issue
Definitely worth the annual fee for free 2-day shipping, but adding that to the Amazon Prime TV makes it an ever better value for the money. Over the years, I've placed several orders and only one time did I have a problem (wrong item was sent). The return process was incredibly easy.
We are continually impressed with Amazon's ability to provide stellar customer service and their Prime systems are a great value to all of us that shop online on a regular basis. We always go to the Amazon site first to see what they charge to gauge deals others are offering. We've seen people trying to sell used stuff on Craigslist for more than buying a new one would cost on Amazon! Even if you don't shop at Amazon, just them being there with their low prices, great customer service and Prime shipping, has forced other online and brick and mortar retailers to lower their prices or up their act, so kudos to them for that, if nothing else!
If you want Amazon Prime for any reason other than the so called "2 day shipping," don't bother. "Thousands of movies and shows," but ones you actually want to watch? Forget it, $2.99 an episode. Want to read the good books on kindle? That'll be 10 more dollars a month. And, is it a busy time of year? Yeah, you can forget that two day shipping, too. I was completely in love with Amazon before I started paying a hundred dollars a year for basically the same thing I was getting before. I will say, if you're a super shopper, I'm sure it's totally worth it.
I purchased something on Amazon that went down by $50 three weeks later... Amazon would not price match. If I had used my Visa or Mastercard... those companies would have price matched for me, but because I used Amazon's store card for payment and they won't do anything for me I've lost out. The item was too big to return... just food for thought when using their store credit card.
My mom ordered a package got confirmation that it had been delivered with a picture of it on a porch with a red door which hers is not red so she called them and they told her to go look for it. Really didn't know that we would have to go door to door looking for our package that by the way we still have not gotten. I am very unhappy and irritated with them if I wanted to deal with a bunch of people I would have went to the store and bought what I had ordered. And I thought Amazon prime was suppose to be good what is the prime part go find your package that's what we are paying for no thank you. Use someone else don't pay extra to have to try and hunt your merchandise down. Here's the picture we got and of our door.
As a member of both prime and prime music I will not be renewing either. I am tired of delivery delays and getting slapped in the face with 5 dollar credit. When a shipment leaves Jamaica NY at 434 how does sit get delayed going to a facility a half hour away? Because you like screwing your customers. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I've been an Amazon Prime member for a long time. I've had very few problems. Their customer service is always courteous and professional. Prompt 1-2 delivery can't be beat and free shipping is worth since I spend a lot of money monthly so I am saving money.

I feel like a traitor everytime I use this service since the in your face political agenda of this organization does not always concur with my own. Why oh why can't business owners separate their business and politics. I cancelled his Washington Post after 40 years to stop having a one sided agenda shoved down my throat. What happened to respecting your customers?
My headline really says it all. If you shop on Amazon several times a year the $99/yearly subscription fee is actually what you'd probably pay in shipping fees. Amazon is my favorite place to shop and I promise you before joining Prime I paid more than $99 in shipping. Well worth it for that alone. When you also add the cloud storage and movie and music streaming services, although there isn't as big a selection as say, Netflix... well it is still well worth it. I mostly love the free shipping but the music and movies and cloud storage are nice bonuses. If you're a shopper you won't regret this purchase.
As much as I shop online, the 2 day free shipping is well worth the yearly fee for Prime. Prime video however, needs some attention. The movies are just bad. Old and bad. They really need to work on this area. I do like the books and magazines that I get with Prime. I really want to keep people working at my local stores employed but Amazon makes shopping extremely convenient. They have whatever I want at my fingertips. One click, and it's mine. Sorry local retail personnel.
Best thing I ever did was to join Amazon Prime. So many features for just $99 a year. I highly recommend it. Most orders are delivered in 2 days as long as you see Prime logo. Non Prime logo also gets delivered faster than their expected date of delivery. You can't lose.
Joining Prime was the best decision I made! I can shop from home and get free two day shipping with my prime membership plus free videos to watch on my TV.
They have great prices and it makes shopping for the holidays and birthdays a breeze. For a busy working mom and grandma this makes my life easier. I only received one order missing something and it was refunded within 48 hours. I have shopped online with Gap, Wal Mart, The Children's Place and Academy Sports and had horrible problems with every order. But Amazon is awesome and worth the membership!
Warning if you order anything of value and the courier decides not to deliver or deliveries somewhere else AMAZON will use every excuse known to man not to refund you
1. No signature has not to been obtained.
2. Tracking info states delivered to a (shed) I don't have a shed.
3. Amazon told me to wait for 72+ hours.
4. I need a crime number from the police.
5. Check with neighbours.
6. Reported missing item to the police I have a crime number.
AND STILL NO REFUND. County court proceedings now!

AmazonPrime has transformed the shopping (and viewing) experience. And for the consumer, mostly for the good.
However, you must pay attention as you may be tempted by other vendors who offer the same product, on the Amazon website for a lower price, including shipping.
Often there are hidden costs when it comes to returns.
These can e buried in "About Us" info about the vendor.
I was surprised by a fee for restocking (10% of the cost of the merchandise) that when added to the shipping, came to almost $20!
To their credit, when I contact the vendor and expressed displeasure, the fee was taken off, but Amazon should not host vendors who are not front and center with these policies.
AmazonPrime is another story-great service-just keep in mind that when you wander from Prime, you must be very, very careful about the fine print!
Answer: Probably because Amazon Prime would rather be straight forward with their customers and ensure they get their customers' questions answered to the absolute best of their ability to avoid any sort of confusion using chatbots, and/or a most likely VERY busy email address that very few people probably have access to via their site. I have actually never heard nor seen anybody complain about authenticity, or live chat, or phone call where you can get your question or questions answered much faster, vs. waiting for and possibly potentially even missing their reply email because you would have to be sitting around waiting on an email reply, for however long that'd take. Trust me, if you really want your question(s) answered, this would by far be the best option. There is even an app and/or extension you can use called "Amazon Assistant" That feature normally gets any and all issues solved, and FAST! I hope this helps! :)
