Fast shipping but no customer service. Multiple times items were "not available" and they kept providing new dates, but never actually shipped.
Tried to contact them, left multiple emails, not a single response.
Cancelled prime.
Last 3 times I've ordered from Amazon products hasn't been delivered on time with no explanation which then leaves you to deal with a customer service call center outside the United States. Buyers beware
If you want to know how good it is go open a manhole cover climb down and sit for a while
Largest collection of b and c movies there is the rating are lies ex. Howard the duck is ranked 5 of 5
It's 139 per year which is cheaper than Netflix but three content is lacking. The same movies show in every category so as to make it look larger. The app locks up allot it's slow moving to screen from screen. Prime is just another garbage streaming service from a company that only cars about purify l profit.there are less then 10 a class movies. And of course a commercial advertising prime before everything. Advice tv will soon be dead get into books.but if you can't use Netflix. Stop giving your hard earned money to a global conglomerate who gives you a garbage product. Try to give a negative review on Amazon and they delete it.
How you can call yourself "one day delivery" I pay 13$ a month for one day delivery and what? I ordered item and then it comes after 4 days, when basic member gets in 6? So what's the point. You have to fix this.
This service was great at first (I guess because it's new) but as time went on there were hardly any New or Good movies being added. Bad thing is they want you to pay for the year up front and then they don't have anything new... so now you paid for a service you are only going to use for a couple of months. Very disappointed.
Whenever i want to watch something funny, horror, mystery or even romantic my first choice is to go on amazon prime. They have lots of options to choose from. There monthly subscription is also chip compare to Netflix and all.
I pay for prime for fast delivery which is nonexistent at this point then they are selling third party and when it all falls apart amazon says deal with the third party(jegs) who also suck. Here's a 10 dollar credit, I have 10 hours over a two week span trying to solve just this one of many issues and still don't have what I ordered but I do have a 10 dollar credit
I am innately suspicious about any company that has no viable way to complain, and Amazon meets that criteria. They don't want to hear complaints. I have used Amazon and Amazon Prime for years, but lately I have had security issues with them - one of which caused my debit card to be blocked. Since this is how Amazon Prime is paid, they used another card/bank on my conveniently listed cards. I removed ALL cards from Amazon's list to resolve the issue. Now I am getting texts with links. I am not stupid! No way I'm going to trust a texted link. Phone calls can be scams as well. I really like Amazon, but this is a deal killer. If my cards are not safe with Amazon, then neither is my privacy. Amazon needs to address this - fix it and make a simple way for people to let them know it is happening. This looks way too much like looking the other way on the part of Amazon.
This is my favorite streaming platform so far. I have been subscribed to netflix for a long time, but it only featured the films and shows that I already watched before, but most of the contents on Prime is original and fun to watch. The UI is also great I think. But they need to improve some Interfaces like the dashboard should show more contents.
I tried to sign up for a discount by filling out information to start my account. When it came to adding my mother's maiden name it kept popping up that I could only add letters in the box, which I did, trying several times to get it to accept and it never would. It was very frustrating so I gave up and ordered the book cheaper from another sight.
I have shopped at Amazon Prime since it began. Over the years they have gradually become sloppier in their promises and their fulfillment. They have shrunk the movie selections while raising the rental prices. The product reviews are not managed for truth and accuracy. Fake reviews and reviews that belong at another product is now the norm rather than the exception. I had been getting 5% cash back occasionally then that stoped without notice. Amazon does not respond to complaints about deceptive merchandising and deceptive advertising. The quality of shipping packaging of products has taken a nose dive.
Used to be a great thing. Now Amazon is seemingly continously raising rates, instituting fees and overall decreasing value.
Just another example of corporate greed run amok.
I'm dumping it after 5 years. F- These people.
Because of the fast shipping with Prime, amazon has become our primary way of purchasing non-grocery goods. And even when I'm at a physical store, so many people purchase through amazon and leave reviews, I often check the reviews and pricing on amazon before buying in the physical store. Add on the benefit of the movie selection, and we feel the annual fee is well worth the money. And there's even more benefit than I've described, like their music.
Amazon prime is not worth it any longer. They don't provide prime benefits especially with shipping next day orders come in two to three days. It's ridiculous and a total waste of money. Plus they outsourced their customer service so the reps you get are like robots. No more friendly, caring reps. Don't waste your time or money.
Amazon prime is definitely a option to consider if you use amazon frequently as the 2 day delivery can come in handy for last minute buying before going on holiday or really anything short notice. So far i have been very impressed with amazon prime and would recommend it.
Amazon Prime not only gives you 2 day free shipping, it also comes with Prime Movies, TV and Music. That in itself is worth the price of admission. I've always received top notch customer service and they have an excellent return policy.
Amazonprime saves me so much time and money. I'd rather shop online than drive all over looking for something specific. With amazon I can read real reviews, buy without leaving the house and get free shipping. If you have a legit need to return and it was no fault of your own they are fair about refunds.
How can you beat free 2 day shipping? Any time I have had an issue, which has only been 2-3 times in several years, the return was very easy. I know the price is rising slightly this year... but the convenience, time savings, shipping saving, prime shows on my xbox - totally worth it.
But seriously folks, AP, deserves it. Just given the sheer content available. $100 a year, which includes free shipping is nothing, given the amount of stuff most people tend to buy. One way they COULD, possibly, improve it would be to include services like Kindle Unlimited rather than charge separately for them. Just my opinion, though.
If you happen to shop often on Amazon, you should really get this great deal. For $99 (the last I checked) you get unlimited 2-day shipping or if you're not in a hurry, they will give you credit towards other product for future use.
I used them for birthday, Christmas and personal with 50+ purchases last year. I got my money's worth on shipping alone.
There is also the bonus feature of free movies (limited to prime selected) and ability to check out one ebook per month. Granted the number of movies & t. V. shows that are free through prime are free but it does rival other streaming sites, with no commercials.
Definitely worth the money but only if you are a frequent shopper like me.
Answer: Probably because Amazon Prime would rather be straight forward with their customers and ensure they get their customers' questions answered to the absolute best of their ability to avoid any sort of confusion using chatbots, and/or a most likely VERY busy email address that very few people probably have access to via their site. I have actually never heard nor seen anybody complain about authenticity, or live chat, or phone call where you can get your question or questions answered much faster, vs. waiting for and possibly potentially even missing their reply email because you would have to be sitting around waiting on an email reply, for however long that'd take. Trust me, if you really want your question(s) answered, this would by far be the best option. There is even an app and/or extension you can use called "Amazon Assistant" That feature normally gets any and all issues solved, and FAST! I hope this helps! :)
Answer: Click on the left-hand corner, then go to books and audible, then to prime reading. There is a selection of books that can be read for free
