But, this is the coolest thing ever, if you're someone like me who LOVES your dog way too much and spoils him, but mostly, takes him everywhere you go, or takes your dog (tiny, small, medium-sized, large, or giant) everywhere with you that you go, THIS product is freaking AWESOME and COULD save your fur babies life in the instance of a collision, bad wreck, etc. This order includes not just 1, but TWO awesome safety gadgets for your puppy/dog. The first is a harness with SO MANY colors and/or patterns to choose from to fit their personalities that it is UNREAL!! & 2nd & the COOLEST yet is, yes, you see this right, this is a SEATBELT for your fur baby! The clicks in your seat belt, just as ours do, and has the seat belt buckle made exactly like us humans' are made, click in, and all you do is clip the part of the belt that looks like the regular clip end on a dog leash, to BOTH of the 2 metal rings that are on the back of their harness sticking up, and boom. So I started playing it, however it was in Spanish.? I called Amazon Prime thinking it was a ''glitch'' that would be easily fixed. The Kind, friendly call center woman named ''Marie'' was gracious enough to look into it and found the issue for me.
The FREE version is in Spanish. If you want the English version, you must ''subscribe'' to HBO - she then stated that if I subscribe I can get HBO for FREE for 7 days at which I will have to Cancel subscription if I do not want to be charged every month 16 dollars for HBO.
As being frugal (lol) I can save 8.99 I said sure! Let's do it! She told me to hit subscribe on my TV.

She then said " ok but can you just tell me why you gave me a bad review?"
I replied " YOUVE GOT SOME KINDA BALLZ LADY! I'M NOT TELLING YOU ANYTHING IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUISNESS GIVE ME TO YOUR SUPRIVISOR NOW!"
She hung up. I called Amazon prime right away and told them what happened and gave them the number she called in on.
The next day SHE CALLED ME AGAIN! Saying she was a manager wanting me to explain why I gave a bad review! Again I said for her to let me speak to a manager. She hung up once again!. I right away called Amazon prime and let them know.

On 18th December I placed an order with Amazon for around £250 worth of items using their Prime 'Guaranteed Next Day' delivery service. The order consisted 11 different items (a range of toys and other gifts bought for Christmas to give to family and friends). Amazon in the past have been a very reliable and reputable company with exemplary customer service so I felt that this was a convenient and safe option to make sure I had everything arrive in time for Christmas. This, however, was the start of my Christmas nightmare.
The following day, nothing arrived. This was not an issue however, as my family were not coming to visit until the following Saturday so there was still another 4 days left before it would present any sort of problem for me. On the Wednesday, 3 of the 11 items turned up. On Thursday, nothing. On Friday morning, I finally receive a phone call from my sister (whose address the parcels were due to arrive at) telling me she was starting to get worried as most of the items had still not arrived and they had to be ready and wrapped for the following day to give to my visiting family members who live in a different part of the country. Given the urgency of the situation, I decided to take a break from work and give Amazon's customer service department a call.
I initially spoke to a member of their team who looked into the situation and found that the items had indeed not been delivered, but that it should be fine and they would most likely arrive later that day. I explained my situation to them and told them that essentially if the items did not turn up I would be stuck with nothing to give to my family to open on Christmas day. I asked this member of staff to look into the situation again so that they could absolutely guarantee this, at which point the line goes quiet and a few seconds later the call terminates. Not being satisfied with the outcome, I decide to call back again at which point I get through to another customer service agent who again appears to hang up the call. By this point I was getting very frustrated but given that I had no choice I decided to call them again.
By this time, it was 3:00pm and I had already wasted around half an hour of my working day trying to sort the situation out. I then get through to customer service agent number 3, who I explain to that I haven't received my items - to which he replies that they will definitely arrive by 9pm that night. I then explain to the agent that I need this absolutely guaranteed as if they do not deliver the items by 9pm I would then not have an opportunity to go out Christmas shopping that day in order to replace the items they had not delivered. After some deliberation he agrees to go and double check for me, and, surprise surprise, he tells me that the parcels won't be arriving after all.
By this point, I was absolutely fuming. I could not believe that after 5 days of waiting on their 'Guaranteed Next Day' delivery and an hour on the phone speaking to 3 different people they were actually telling me they were not able to deliver my parcels. All of this given that they DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE DECENCY to contact me and let me know what was going on. Had my sister not bothered to contact me, I wouldn't have even known until the following day (by which point it would be too late).
Anyway, I continued my conversation with agent number 3 and explained that I was absolutely disgusted by their level of service and that my only option was to finish work early (costing me around £50 in lost pay), travel to the town centre and spend the rest of my afternoon/evening shopping for presents that I didn't have the money for (since I had already spent it with Amazon). The initial response to this was to offer me a £5 Amazon gift card and 1 month free Amazon Prime (frankly an insult given the situation). They then offer me a refund to which I tell the agent it does not compensate me for the situation they have caused and I would be making a complaint and closing down my account (which I have had for over 10 years and spent many thousands of pounds with them on). He then decides to go and speak to his manager, and agrees that they will still fulfill the order and I will receive the items in due course, and they will issue me a full refund (which would instantly arrive in my account) for the items not yet received. Although I was not happy about having to leave work and roam around the town centre buying presents, I felt this was fair compensation and the best they could do given the situation. We then end the call and I head out of work.
I arrive in a very busy town centre and attempt to look for anything which may be suitable given the money I had on my card. I enter Toys R Us and grab some toys for my niece and nephew, head to the counter and get my card out to pay. I enter my PIN and find that my card has been declined. I then try again, but it appears as though there is no money in my account. I then leave Toys R Us (the time is now about 5:00pm) and head to the Cashpoint machine to find that my refund has not yet arrived. I go on Amazon's live chat and the person I speak to tells me that the refund will arrive in 5-7 working days. Desperate, I call one of my friends who agrees to lend me £50 (not exactly enough for 8 gifts but better than nothing). I then spend my evening around town buying anything I can so at least there is something for my family to open for Christmas (aware that the items should arrive later on and I could always try and post them later).
Christmas then comes and goes without too much bother. It comes to my attention in the first week of January however that the items had still not been delivered, so I decide its time to give Amazon another call. I get through to a customer service agent, and after saying a few words the call hangs up, so I call back again. I then get through to another agent who explains to me that my refund has been issued. I tell him that I have received the refund but I was still waiting for the items, for which he says the items had been returned and would not be sent out again. I then explain to them that I was still supposed to receive the items as per the agreement I made with them on the 22nd of December, to which he replies (surprise) that there are no notes on the system to this effect. He agrees to raise the issue with a manager for it to be investigated and I would definitely receive an email back about this in 5-7 days.
2 weeks later, I still have no email or items, so I call Amazon again. After calling them three times and being hung up on and spending around 45 minutes on the phone I am finally put through to a supervisor. They tell me again that there is no notes on the system and there has been no investigation into my case. This time, I am promised a call back the following day at 5:00pm once the investigation has been done. I sit next to my phone at 5:00pm the following day but do not receive a call. I then check my Amazon account to find a message sent saying that they 'weren't able to reach me' and they were sorry that I was 'misinformed' that I would still receive the items. They tell me I should call back again for more information about it.
I can tell you I have now given up trying to deal with their shambolic customer service team. The entire experience has been absolutely disgraceful and they should be ashamed of the way they have treated me as a longstanding and loyal customer of 10 years. I am now going to be closing my account with them and I will be posting my experience on every major review site online as well as telling all my friends and family. Amazon has embarrassed me at a supposed happy time of year and they don't seem to give a monkeys about their customers anymore. I will now be reporting them to the Advertising Standards Agency regarding their false advertising claims and I will be speaking to BBC's Watchdog about my case.
I HAVE FULL EVIDENCE FOR ALL OF THIS BUT IF ANYONE ELSE HAS HAD A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE PLEASE LET ME KNOW AS WE CAN POTENTIALLY WORK TOGETHER IN HOLDING AMAZON TO ACCOUNT ON THEIR FALSE CLAIMS AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
So I did the free trial of amazon prime in december and only ordered a couple of items, which arrived to my house within the next couple of days. I have two friends who asked to use my account for the free shipping, so I let them because why not? The first ordered a couple of items with an Amazon gift card. The second friend ordered a couple of things with her debit card. I'll mention that all of these items weren't expensive at all, and I received a series of emails each time something was ordered from my account.
So a month went by and I was never sent any emails or notifications of any kind that my free trial was about to expire/expired. One day, a third friend asked if I still had prime but I was unsure. Whenever I was on amazon on my laptop or my phone I never received warnings of any kind. Just to be safe, one day in January I logged onto my amazon account on my phone and cancelled my prime membership. After the page said it was cancelled, the website refreshed to the home page. Again, I was never sent an email or notification, or anything, so I just assumed it got cancelled and kinda forgot about it.
A few weeks later, in February, my second friend, the last person to use my account with her debit card, got freaked out because her card, that had less that $10 on it, was charged with $116 from amazon.com, plus overdraft fees from her bank.
I was never informed that my free trial was over and that one of the cards on my account was being automatically charged over $100.
The card that was charged was my friend's, it was under a different name, and it was not the main card that was connected to my account.
I logged onto my account on my laptop to see that her card was charged in January yet she didn't receive a bill until almost 3 weeks later.
I cancelled the membership on my phone, yet it apparently didn't go through properly. And I was, conveniently, not notified about anything.
I cancelled my membership, successfully this time, on my laptop and am in the process of getting a refund to my friend's card.
I am still very angry that I was never informed about my prime membership becoming official and charging me $100, yet they can inform me about "This week's deals!" so easily... hmm... okay.

Amazon Prime is definately not for everyone. For a long time I was content without Prime. When I started doing product reviews of products purchased through Amazon I decided it would be better to have a Prime membership. Without a Prime membership I have to have a total of $45 or $25 worth of books in my cart in order to get free shipping. This free shipping method is very slow but had worked great for us for years even though the minimum price used to be lower.
Once I joined Prime I started looking at al the other features they offer. The first feature I checked out was Amazon Music. I do not know how it works for non Prime members but for Prime members, we have a large selection of music available for streaming either through an app or the website. There are a lot of premade playlists, which is what I listen to so I can hear music I may not normally think to listen to. The selection is extensive and this has been my favorite feature because I listen to it every morning at work and no one gets sick of the songs.
Another big feature is Amazon Movies. Again, it's through an app or the website. There are many movies and tv shows available for Prime members to watch for free. Others have rental and purchasing options. The selection of free movies and shows will change out as licensing agreements expire. What is available today may not be available next week. If you create a playlist and view it on a computer you can hover your mouse over the titles in th playlist to see when they will be removed. After getting Prime I decided to get the Amazon Fire Stick, which we now have two, so I can enjoy Amazon Prime Movies better. We also sideloaded them wth Kodi. I use a lot of my slow shipping $1 digital credits for movies and seasons of my favorite TV shows.
For readers, each month there is a list of 4 to 6 soo to be released books that are offered to Amazon Prime members. Each Prime member can choose 1 free book. Sometimes there might be an option to choose 2 but I haven't seen that but I didn't know about this feature until recently. There are some other features but those are the main ones and the ones I use most.
Prime Pantry is another feature. It isn't a favorite for me. They offer select items at a lower price for a $5.99 shipping fee. Every month they provide a code for free shipping on a Prime Pantry order if you purchase 5 items from a selected list. The code can be stacked with a Prime Pantry credit from slow shipping. Each box can fit a certain amount and more than that creates more boxes and more shipping fees. These boxes can get heavy! There are some great deals in Prime Pantry and if you take advantage of coupons and codes it is very valuable! These boxes do not ship as 2 day shipping.
Obviously, the main feature of Amazon Prime is the 2 day shipping and free shipping. The 2 day shipping has some exclusions. Some items may need to be handle differently by carrier services so there might be a delay. If it can be sent by air mail there might be a delay. Sometimes an item may be out of stock and Amazon knows it will be arriving very soon or it has arrived but hasn't been put out in the warehouse yet. Amazon knows these things and most of the time their computers are able to come up with a delivery date based on all the input and previos shipments. On the final ordering screen prior to checking out you can see the expected shipping date. On occasion the estimated shipping date on the product page may be off. That information is based on a generalized shippment but when you go to check out it may change because it's going to a different address as a gift or the current address is not the main address on the account. After the order is placed something may cause a delay such as the inventory being off and the product isn't in that warehouse so it's coming from further away or your order was the last one and the order picker realizes it is damaged. There will be an email letting you know of any changes of the estimated delivery date, later or sooner. Most of the time I recieve a shipping sooner notice so it appears that the computer over estimates those situations, whatever it may be.
If you have a range of dates for the expected delivery date, then it is likely that it was purchased from a 3rd party seller. Very few exceptions exist for this which one is that the order is a preorder and another is that the item is out of stock and Amazon doesn't know exactly when to expect it. 3rd party sellers that don't use fulfilled by Amazon do not have 2 day shipping. If they do use FBA, not all their products may be FBA.
Once it has shipped the countdown begins for 2 day deliveries. Even though USPS deliveries everyday except some holidays for Amazon and UPS delivers on Saturdays, Saturdays and Sundays aren't counted as business days. If the order was not a slow shipping order and the package arrived late Amazon is usually really nice about providing compensation once in a while. This usually includes a month extension on your prime, a refund of any shipping costs, and/or a small promotional credit. Amazon uses a variation of package carries and sometimes they even use 2 carriers for one package. These are when they ship the package through a parcel company such as UPS and UPS hands it off to the local USPS office to be delivered with the daily mail. If the UPS driver is scheduled to be in the area that day, they may just deliver it themselves. UPS gives the option for an upgrade at a fee to have UPS deliver it. USPS has a contract with Amazon to have Sunday deliveries for their packages. This helps most USPS offices anyways because if they skip a day, the following days are very heavy on them.
Each carrier had a large variety of complaints and Amazon always gets threats from customers threatening to shop elsewhere if they refuse to stop using a certain carrier. That won't be happening because the majority of customers are happy with their services. My carriers are all great.
Amazon Prime has been a great benefit for us. We can order any time we want, which we do. I usually use slow shipping because I like to help ease the congestion at Amazon and the carrier's facility. Plus I love the credits, even the $5.99 pantry credit.
Again, Amazon Prime is not beneficial for everyone so I highly recommend weighing out the pros and cons. You can sign up for a free 30 day trial to check it. If you are a student with an edu email you can try a 6 month free trial and enjoy discounted Prime after that.
