Wen hair care is a joke and rip off sure it makes your hair soft and shine but it also breaks your scalp out and in some case you lose hair! After only one week of use it my scalp broke out with sore from using this what I call expensive no good $#*! product that doesn't get your hair clean it only conditions it even though these idiots tell you its cleansing conditioner suppuse to take place of shampoo yeah right TRY AGAIN WEN CAUSE YOU FAILED AND ARE NOTHING BUT SCAM ARTIST! DO NOT WASTE TIME OR MONEY ON THIS BULL$#*! PEOPLE! GO TO HELL WEN AND CHAZE DEAN YOUR IDIOTS!

I should be mostly angry at myself for continuing to use this product thinking I would get a different outcome each time. I finally gave it up.
This product leaves your hair unmanageable and greasy. Your hair and scalp feels dirty by the end of the day. Seems like it attracts dirt. The almond mint has a medicinal smell to it.
Even thought they offer other scents your only shipped the almond mint:. Yuk! The expense is huge when you think that you can buy the most expensive hair salon produce for less!. Does not really save money if your not happy with it.
I stopped using it a year ago and was compelled to write this after watching the TV ad with the Miss America contestants!. Your hair will not look like anything on those commercials|. I have long colored hair that is in very good condition?. I take care of it and do not use dryers'.
I look for good products and will spend money to keep it in good condition,. From Seattle WA hope this helps you make a good decision.
I ordered wen hair care on June 11 and I had to call them to see when my shipment was coming and the lady told me that it was on back-order and I didn't get no email stating that but I got an email saying the money was taken out of my account and on top of that I got $#*!TY $#*! customer service over the phone. Now I am still waiting on my order. I will never order from them ever again and I will tell my friends not to order from them too. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR SATISFACTION
I called this morning to see how easy (or difficult) it would be to "cancel" if I decided to order the Wen Product. I had two options, #1 for Sales and #2 for customer service. I was NOT able to reach a customer service rep. I redialed and pressed #1 to "Order". I was immediately connected to a "sales rep". I told him I was dubious about ordering and was not interested in "repeat or automatic shipments/billings". I only wanted ONE order, PERIOD. I asked if I could use a Visa or Mastercard prepaid gift card to make my one time purchase. (The card would not have a name or billing address associated with it). He would not give me a straight answer, and insisted I could get a ONE TIME SHIPMENT. I don'[t believe them. Has anyone ever used a prepaid Visa or Mastercard? Thanks, JP
I actually didn't order of this site, I ordered straight off the Chaz Dean website which yes is much more expensive but I wanted to try it first before I committed to automatic shipments. I ordered the Tea Tree Oil version which smells great! I used it every other day at first (I only wash my hair every other day max b/c washing your hair everyday strips your hair of it's natural oils and makes your hair over produce oil). My hair had body, it was soft, tangle free, and it smelled great! After 2 weeks or so it wasn't having that same effect anymore so I trade it out every other wash with my regular shampoo and conditioner. I had purchased from the Chaz Dean site again but I opted not to enroll in the wenhaircare club since I only use it about 10 times a month or so. But great product all in all!
I have to admit, at first I was a little skeptical. I read good reviews and not so good reviews. So I decided to get to the Sweet Almond Mint travel kit at Sephora to try for myself. After just one wash my hair looks and feels AMAZING! I have long hair with highlights and the ends were dry and dull. Now it's shiny and full of life! I have received so many compliments! Ladies, let's admit it, when your hair looks good you feel sexy; overall great and confident. In a few not so good reviews I read that their hair fell out. I usually brush out my hair when I apply the conditioner and TONS of hairs are left on the brush. With Wen you only need to apply the cleansing conditioner and to my amazement only about 2 or 3 strands were left on the brush!
I am now going to order it directly from the Wen website, which is cheaper than Sephora and start receiving it on a monthly basis. If you are still skeptical, like I was, I highly suggest you purchase the travel kit at Sephora to see and feel the results for yourself and once you fall in love with the Wen products you can then purchase it at the Wen website, which will save you money.
Horrible customer service and product! I ordered the product and was charged $34.95 received my product. I thought that I was done and if I wanted to I could order more. A month later I received another shipment and was charger $43.94. I sent the product back and paid for shipping and canceled my account. A month later I was billed again $34.95 for the product. I called customer service to figure out why I hadn't received my refund and why I was still being charged. They didn't even send out more product and no one could issue a refund for the product. I was told I would have to wait 4-6 weeks or fax the billing department. I took further action by calling my bank to dispute the charges. My bank even called the company to talk to them. My bank said that they were very unprofessional.
Whilst cleansing Wen felt like the most luxurious product I had ever used, but unfortunately that is where it ended.
Once dried it felt similar to normal, the frizz hadn't changed, I was told by friends that my hair looked dull, I even had it cut to get rid of dead ends, but sadly it looked like the results of normal shampoo & conditioner. I have also found that it gets dirtier and greasier much quicker.
And just for the people who think that people are not following the instructions, I was so excited about using this product, the first time I did two washes and applied the Intensive Treatment. As I have hair down to my bum and didn't want to miss a strand it took me 45 minutes! I was very disappointed to have not received the promised results.
I was reluctant to try this when I saw the pre-Wen models who looked like they had been dragged through a bush backwards, including Alysa Milano, they hadn't even run a brush through any of their hair, let alone blow dried it: what a sham! When they need to exaggerate that much, alarm bells should ring!
I am in the UK and calling Customer Services wasn't a problem, She said she had cancelled it, I would not be billed any further and I would receive my refund when they receive my empty bottles back; simple! After reading such terrible reviews I am dreading the next few months... Watch this space.
I love the product. The problems that i have had is the crappy customer service! The other problem that i am having is that i made a 1 time catalog order and mailed the check with it. Well, that was march 17th 2013 and now it is april 6th 2013. I called my bank and they said the check was cashed but when i call to find out if they recieved anything my order and payment they deny it. How can the check be cashed but wen doesnt know where it is. Somthings fishy! If your gonna have people work for a company... you gotta make sure they have some brains and get on the same page! I told them if i dont get the products i ordered or a refund of my check that i was gonna take further action. Even if that means to get a lawyer. This crap has gotta stop. Not just for me but for everyone they have scamed. I will get to the bottom of this!
The 60-day money back guarantee is a scam. They make it extremely difficult to return, cancel, or modify the automatic billing. I didn't like the product and the only reason I tried it was because they said I could return it and get my money back. It has been 4 months since I contacted them to cancel. They still send you product and I have sent it back at my expense and still continue to get billed.
Not worth the $$$. It did nothing for my hair. You're better off buying regular shampoo & conditioner. Also, their customer service is AWFUL.
Well, I went to cancel my WEN account today because as much as I like the way WEN makes my hair feel, the product gives me horrible danduff. The reason why the rate is so low is customer service. I signed up for a 34.95 a month program, but could change the shipping to whenever I wanted it to come. 1 month supply. I was told apon my cancellattion that I still owed 34.95 but had not received another shipment. WHAT?!?!?! He then told me that I signed up for a 1 time 34.95 charge for a 1 month supply then a continuing 3 month supply at a time. Which I did not sign up for. Kept telling me I was wrong and I needed to pay. I paid just to be done with WEN. I will never use them again. They are unprofessional and rude.
I cancelled my membership with this company almost 5 months ago. They confirmed that my account was cancelled and I would not be billed again. They even sent me a cancellation email. They continue to bill me and don't even send any product. I have been billed 3 times in the past 2 months. Each time time I call they put me on hold and they don't answer my emails. I had to get my credit card company involved. The last person I spoke to was rude and insisted that I FAX statements to her. My credit card dispute person said they just processed another dispute right before me. This appears to be their practice. Wen I was a memeber, I thought their price structure was very strange. When I ordered items, they forgot to process the order. I am done with this dishonest company! I must admit, all the reviews on the internet warned me that this would happen. I should have listened to prior customers.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE they have automatically charged my account for product that i did not order. They state they cannot return the money that was charged because the order was shipped out today. I was advised that the entire process to have the product be returned and my account credited takes about 3 weeks. Do not do it. Go through amazon or ebay if you want to test the product without having your account subjected to future charges without your authorization
I ordered wen and it made a huge difference in my hair. It's actually cheaper than the hair products I was using before so I am super excited I have been looking for a product that I could use and not have to spend a hour fixing my long thick frizzy hair. It made my hair smooth and it cleans it you just have to follow the directions and it really does work. I understood when I ordered that I would be charged monthly but to me it's worth it.
Everything they are saying is true - this product STINKS! My hair felt dirty and disgusting and didn't look clean OR healthy. I cancelled my subscription and sent my product back and they continued to bill me 2 more times. I have contacted the company numerous times regarding getting my refund for product they received THREE MONTHS AGO! I finally filed a BBB Complaint and will be filing a charge back with my credit card company to get my money back. STAY AWAY FROM WEN!
I initially ordered the Wen haircare system, over two weeks ago. I was advised that in order to stop the auto ship, where you will be billed for three months of product $29.95/mo, you had to call within 30 days to cancel. After about two weeks, I noticed that our card hadn't been charged and I hadn't received any shipping notification. I called Wen, only to be told that the product I ordered was on back order and that there was NO WAY for the agent who took my first order to verify this. In anger, and because of their incompetence and having NOT sent so much as an email to inform me of any back order status, I cancelled my order! I was informed by a gentleman that my order was completely cancelled and I should not receive any charges...
Well, my hubby checked our account this morning and lo and behold, there's a charge from Wen pending! I immediately call the customer service number, and an agent named TAMMY tells me that, not only did they not have the ability to see back orders in their systems, the rep who cancelled my order, or so he thought, couldn't see that the back order was released and my order was probably being processed for shipping when I called on 12/17? REALLLY?! She proceeds to tell me they tried to cancel the shipping but couldn't, so the order was shipped on 12/20. I have NEVER received shipping confirmation and asked this inept agent, "What if that $29.95 was the last dollar I had in my account!?" Thankfully, it's not but Wen had not right to ship an order that I cancelled on the 17 on the 20! I also requested that the auto ship be cancelled as that apparently did not happen the last time I called either! Is this NOT a multi million dollar corporation? Why can't an agent see when a product is on back order, and if product is later found not readily available why wouldn't an email be sent to inform a customer that the order will be processed when the product becomes available?! The reps are VERY uninformed and incompetent, and I PRAY that my auto ship was cancelled appropriately! I've read other reviews, which have me scared that that might not be the case!
They billed twice for one shipment in one day. There's got to be something that can be done about this unscruplous company. I also tried to cancel and they "postponed" until May 2013 (supposedly). I also received a collection notice saying I owed a certain amount, then I called and they said the amount was different. The bill came from Guthy-Renker. If there is anything good about the product it's over-shadowed by the fact that both Wen and Guthy Renker seem to be unscrupulous companies.
Love the product. With my hair, it does what it says it does. However, DO NOT purchase one of their "special offers" off of the website, unless you want to pay $30.00 a month for a 90 day supply. I will stick to QVC deals (way better!)
My complaint is how they conduct their business. When I signed up for the offer, it was not made clear that I was signing up for a recurring shipment/billing, and I specifically looked to see if that was the case when ordering. Upon recieving the product and being informed I would recieve a 90 day supply and be billed monthly, I called to cancel. The phone system would not recognize any of my account information. Finally reaching a person (after having to call back), I made myself clear atleast 3 times I wanted to cancel the automatic shipments and billing. I understand, the cancellation department has to try to retain the customer, but after stating it clearly two times that I wish to cancel, I felt as if my request was being simply disregarded by the representative and not taken seriously. I had to resort to being more firm and a little rude, and I hate being rude to people in customer service, in order to get my account canceled. I did not want a 10 minutes debate on why I should not cancel. While I love the product, my experience with ordering from their site and feeling tricked into automatic billing, the difficulties in canceling, are bad business practices and make me seriously doubt whether I would order from you ever again. Conduct your business honestly, instead of making customers feel as though they may have to cancel their card to avoid any "accidental" charges to their card.
Sorry five star reviewers, but this stuff is still over priced crap and the 'cancellation procedures' are bordering on unlawful.
Wen hair conditioner made my hair feel unclean and heavy. I called to cancel. (insert customer service nightmare).
Wen rep: "I cancelled your account two weeks ago and can't stop any future billings or shipments".
Apparently Wen doesn't handle cancellations very well and expects you to pay them until they get tired of billing you. I think I'm about another $46.60 charge away from cancelling my card and moving.
Answer: You can order one at a time, or whatever you end up deciding to order whenever thru QVC you have options, and usually lower prices too
