After missed pick ups we decided to cancel services and could not get anyone on the phone and apparently our attempts to cancel on the website didnt work either. The next thing we know we are getting a bill for $140.58! They havent picked up trash from our house in 2 month and are still charging us as if they have been servicing our address. After finally reaching someone on the phone I was told they would have to investigate if they had been to our house to pick up trash before issuing any credits. Fingers crossed but I dont have any hopes of a credit after speaking to a lady named Randy. Terrible experience over all!
Don't trust that they value your business or that they won't take advantage of you if given the opportunity.
$12 admin fee charged monthly for paper billing that I don't receive. But they are under no obligation to discount it so there is no refund once they realize that you shouldn't be getting that charge.
10 years of business and not once did I get a notification prior to my bill increasing. No communication that there was any way to discount my bill by signing a service agreement.
I paid for my bins to be delivered as a new homeowner and was told I would be refunded the charges if I stopped the services and returned the bins. But they don't remember that now, 10 years later.
Holiday notifications that my trash will be on a delayed pick up, it's out fail, are always received the day after pick up.

Disgusting workers doing disgusting gestures while in front of residents and children. Not once but twice. When calling to make complaints nobody calls you back in a timely matter. You have to constantly call and when you finally talk to someone they are no help and give you the run around. Supervisor Chris Miller was no help at all and refused to let me talk to anyone else and then hung up on me. When calling back to ask to talk to his higher ups they say " they can't patch me through to anyone cause Chris put in our file and told them the matter was handle and that they are only operators and can only do what one supervisor says cause that's his department… then said oh no your phone is breaking up! And hangs up. It was like talking to children! So highly unprofessional! I honestly can't believe a business can operate like this! So insane!
They do not follow their own scheduled pick up days, billing practices are questionable at best (but the billing is always on time as scheduled!), and customer service is practically impossible to contact and are of no help.
They are happy to get your money, but are the worst for customer service. They will miss and refuse to pickup your garbage for weeks. When you try to contact them, they will not respond. Stay away from this company as all cost. Any other option is better!
I have had nothing but trouble with this company since it took over my trash services. Their billing was messed up from the beginning and have called every month waiting on hold for at 30 min each time to talk to someone. When I thought it was resolved I would call again the next month because of missed trash or whatever. I paid through April and they have closed my account and claimed that I paid a past due balance. They won't refund my money and won't reinstate my account.
I have had four seperate instances when only half my trash was emptied and two different occasions that my trash wasn't picked up at all. (The second time they picked it up the next day after I called but acted like it was my fault.) This has all happened in just the last few months. I have had pretty much the exact same trash load for the last 10 years, Three bags of trash every week but only in the last few months have I had this problem. When I reported it to the company They told me to put the bag that was left in the container on the top of the pile to make sure it doesn't get stuck next week. I explained that it's not jammed in there, I can with no effort easily pick the bag up. I am NOT jam packing my trash, it's the exact same amount every week. At this point I have paid for a total of two and a half weeks of service worth of trash that has been left behind or not picked up.( That is not counting the load they picked up next day)
The customer service woman said I can put an extra bag of trash out next week and they'll pick it up for free, which doesn't help me now, but is unable to refund me for all the trash they've left behind.
So the point is, I pay full price for half the service.
Purchased Lawn waste pickup. Never showed for over two months. Made upwards of 8 calls and they refused to remove the service they were not providing due to some policy about having for 6months. Worst experience i've ever had in my life.
Trash service that's worse than the garbage they pick up. They are gouging elderly people on fixed incomes. Raised their prices to double after changing the name. So when the crap hits the fan they just change the name back to RAD again. Also canceled them weeks ago and they're trying to bill my mother. Go to WM. Much cheaper and affordable for the same 2 days a week service. Waste Management is way better all around.
After Waste Connecrions failing several weeks ina row of picking up trash on our designated day. We cancelled service and went with Eagle. That has been over a month ago and after numerous phone calls to their business and speaking with Samantha, they still have not picked up their two containers.
I have been using Waste Connections in Justin Texas since I moved to Sanger Texas in November 2019. At first it was good but over the years there have been many times that they missed pick up in my area. Since January 2022, I have tried to get an additional trash can for my residence. Ordered online, sent emails and have talked to customer service. It is now June 2022 and have been unable to get the additional can. However, they did start charging for the trash can but still have not received. Customer service and distribution has no idea how to deal with their jobs. Management needs to get control of the situation.

Put our trash out this morning then looked outside and our cans are gone along with our neighbors. Called to find out whats going on and Waste Connections is no longer servicing our area. Would have been nice if they let their customers know. This isn't the only issue I've had with them. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Stay clear of them.
Commercial business that has been with Waste Connections for years. Last few years the service has gotten terrible. No pick ups, no returned calls, rude drivers, filthy equipment. Customer service is a joke
WCC ties you into long term contracts. They increase your price significantly. If you protest, they will offer a better price, but only if you sign an agreement to further extend your contract. And you cannot add a limit to future increases within the agreement. Be very careful. There are better more ethical companies to work with.
Changed our recycle pickup from every week to every other week without lowering the cost. If I hired somebody to remodel my bathroom and they only did half the job why would I pay them full price. They should be a compassionate company and lower the price for those who they removed service from.
Prior to my five year contract expiring I contacted other companies about their rates and most of them were cheaper than Waste Connections (WC). In contacting WC sales person Allan Valenzuela, He quoted me a similar low quote via email. When the new term started I paid what I was quoted but instead I ended up getting bills with late fees as the amount was much higher alleging that as I did not sign a contract the monthly rate is higher. I was forced to pay the new made up rate as the tenants needed a place to put their trash. Talk about extortion.
We signed up in August of 2020 and our quarterly cost was $90. This quarter, Nov 2021-Jan 2022 is $137.56. That is almost a 35% increase where a competitor doesn't have yearly price increases and we just signed up for a $90.00 all fees/taxes included price per quarter. We had several instances where our trash was not picked up and we made a request on the WCI app. Our account does not reflect these requests and now that we are canceling our service, we are being charged a $25.00 cancellation fee without having been notified at sign up of this fee or having a contract with WCI.
Waste Connections of Missouri horrible service, i have missed pick up trash every second week and if you call for missed pick up trash than they going to charge you extra $15 to send track, unbelievable what bad service they have. They should not be in this business at all.
In 8 days 5 times the trucks broke down. I quit after the 8 days and still dont have my two checks. Called the office twice now to be told they mailed my checks. The office is 20 miles from me it doesnt take 7 days for the mail. Angry past employee out of Corpus Christi.
