Waste Connections Of Canada missed two of the garbage pickups continuously. The garbage container piled up and made a huge mess around it. I phoned and messaged the company but the only person could be reached was a front deck lady. She could only pass your messages to the office. After a bunch of phone calls and emails, finally I received an email said their two companies had been reunion and the drivers were not familiar with the route. No pick up date was rescheduled and no representive names on the email. I am not sure when the garbage truck will be coming. I have to spend $500 per load to hire someone to remove the garbage manually.
We have both residential and commercial account. The commercial side is beyond horrible. We have had to contact them 4 times to get our trash picked up because they just don't come. They took about 6 weeks just to even drop off the dumpster. Everytime we call it "oh yes" we see that in our notes. We have even tried to cancel and no one will get back with us. We also canceled our residential service because of how horrible they have been on the commercial side.
They haven't picked up my garbage in a week. They answered one phone call and ignored the others. They answered one email and ignored the others. They say they can't come out because of adverse weather. Apparently there is a blizzard that is stalled over the Waste Connections parking lot in Palestine. Every other business in the entire county is operating. Waste Connections has a monopoly in my area and seem to feel "if you don't like, find another company".
Missing collection is their routine. Never reply customer's phone call and email. This company is not offering waste collection, this company is just a waste!
They continually miss their pickup days and when I call in to complain. They miss the rescheduled pickup 3 weeks in a row but they still try charging for all the missed pick up days. I would not use again if I had another choice.
We have Eagle Disposal in Lancaster PA. They haven't picked up our trash in our neighborhood in over 2 weeks. It's so bad that our local TV.news covered the issue on the 6 o'clock news several nights. This is an ongoing issue for MONTHS NOW!
This is just a note to acknowledge and thank Waste Connections but more importantly Jelena who goes above and beyond for me as a property administrative assistant to ensure smooth transitions with no hassles. Her friendliness, funniness and warmth - make every interaction with her absolutely delightful!

We had problems gettingOur trash emptied on rainy days so the customer service lady called Veronica help me get a dumpster did it in a timely way we got a bigger dumpster and she took wonderful care of us I was very pleased how attentive she was great customer service
Raised rate in March, had another rate increase in october. Called to talked to someone, standard answer is " we will send your account supervisor an e-mail and they will reach out to you in 24-48 hrs." and of course they never do. They are just like Waste Mangement, maybe the same company now. Use to use them and they would do the same thing. Raise your rate every seven months, call to inquire about why they are doing this. You have to talk to your account supervisor, and they never call back
Went with waste connections because they have service in this area before our neighbors use them, so that's who I chose to call spoke Patrick Kochan territory account manager on Friday 10/14 was told I would have it delivered Monday 10 /17 but no dumpster emailed Patrick he apologized and told me it would be there the next day by 15:00 but again no dumpster so I emailed Patrick and told him how disappointed in service already and really needed it today because I have trash piling up at my back door and inside if they couldn't maybe I should call another waste company? This is his reply!
I do apologize, please feel free to call another vendor, I will cancel your account.

We had an older bin at our business that was rusting and had a very strong odor. I contacted Bonnie through e-mail and sent a photo. It took a few weeks but we now have a shiny new bin! Thanks Bonnie and thanks to the driver, for being such a nice guy too!
Just an FYI - Waste Connections has been giving me the run around about canceling our service after several months of horrible service, They miss our recycle frequently. When I call, customer service is extremely rude. I am paid through the end of September and getting a run around about a partial refund. I highly recommend staying away from this company.
Never pick up - 2 weeks now. They give you a $5 credit for failing to pick up your trash. You call to complain, there is no one to complain to because they women that answer phones don't work for company and the supervisors are the ones failing to pick up.
If there was a way to give negative stars I would. The just forget to pick up trash and the women in the local front office are rude and just want more and more charges. WOULD not recommend to even give them a chance
This is the worst company. Took us 3 months to write a contract and for what, they do not pick up on the agreed dates and they just do not care. We have both commercial and residential and it is horrifying. We have MAGGOTS as they do not pick up and clean like they said they would. STAY AWAY.
The recycle cans have been o0ut all up and down the street have been out since Thursday. They require us to put the cans out the evening prior to pickup. It is now Sunday and they did pickup trash but did not pickup recycle. Recycle cans are picked up every other week, therefore missing a pickup is not good. The wind has been blowing and there are now recycle trash all over the neighborhood, and still no word from Waste Connection... no one to call, just a phone AI which pretty much does nothing but tallies that you called.
We have the best team that comes down Hill Ave. In Ocoee on Wednesdays. These guys go above and beyond to help us with our lawn cuttings. Two super men, Adreine and Devaris. I believe are their names. Kudos to them!
This company supposedly bought out elite services without telling their clients. They billed my for late fees for non paid charges when I was not getting billings. Come to find out they were mailing them to my projects address that does not have mail service set up yet. They also do not do prorated service so when you have the porta jon picked up in the first part of the month they want paid for the entire month. What a rip off. Do not use this service unless you want poor customer service and overcharges.
We live in the county and are not part of the contract given to Cleveland City. They took are trash cans and threw them away thinking we lived in the city where the contract is to replace old with new. We have contacted customer service and was told it was not there problem. Your guys threw away my trash cans and you owe me new cans. The cans are atleast $100 a piece.
This company is terrible. I called to step service last October. I received a bill anyways. They have not picked up my trash in a year and yet they expect me to pay? I will be contacting the BBB. I have proof of when I started a new service but was told they have no proof of a call made to them to stop service. Not giving me the benefit of the doubt and not working with me at all, I think is very slimy. I am a fair person, but also want to be treated fairly. This is NOT the case with this company. Do NOT use them!
