Waste Connections

Where do I start? I highly encourage potential customers of Waste Connections to look elsewhere. Also current customers who plan on cancelling should cancel sooner versus later.

Based on recommendations we started with Springs Waste in 2020 when we moved to the Springs. Once Waste Connections took over the service keeps degrading and the price keeps going up. We have had frequent missed pick ups. There is never credits given for missed pick ups. The joke in our neighborhood is that it is sunny or rainy or too cold or too hot... therefore don't expect Waste Connections to pick up. However, given all of that, every bill has an increased rate.

Waste Connections encourages you to download their app in order to have the latest communications and updates. Unfortunately, their app is not accurate and doesn't send the right notifications for holiday pick up.

I've called and left a message in the past to report a missed pick up and no one has ever called back. When I do get a customer service representative on the phone they often do not have the answer or give the answer I want to hear ("we'll be back today to pick up your missed recycling"... but they never come back).

Today (6/24) was the final straw and I cancelled our service. The representative was unable to tell me when they could come pick up our missed service. They agreed to cancel but they are unable to pick up bins until 9/7(!) I requested to speak to management and they refused.

In closing, if you are researching which trash company to go with, do not start service with Waste Connections! If you are Waste Connections, please review this constructive feedback.

We have a lot of military in our area who periodically move. Waste Connections does a great job of keeping out neighborhood clean!

Cancled many time still charged us, and they never picked up the bins, and the custamer service is bad over phone or chat, they over charge services, wish there was beter chat, we would like a phone number for the persons that pick up bins, and we where locked out of are account for some resson, and cant try other ways to get into account, And we have tryed to have relitive help us, so forth with, removing are trash they didnt pick up, and that they missed,, next time we help family, they should beleave there family, they asumed, not family couse of a certain calls, shesh

HORRIBLE SERVICE! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Deceptive and unprofessional practices despite the fact they keep increasing the prices and charging you every single month without doing the service.

The amount of times I have to call and tell this company to do their job is ridiculous. I'm done babysitting this company and wasting my time.

Missed pick up and make you wait another week. They are a unreliable and unresponsive to customer concerns. They don't have a damn.

Miss pick up all the time, call to report missed pick up is useless because promises to pick up never happen.
Don't use them, they are terrible.

Stay far away from this company. Katarzyna has lied to us many many times. This company does not care at all about their customers. Huge shame.

They miss pick ups and lie about the reason for not picking up, usually happens around holidays. Most of all READ YOUR CONTRACT/AGREEMENT BEFORE SIGNING!

Our company is dealing with WC and their customer service representative Meghan Kwasnycia is doing great job! Very happy with her professionalism.

They don't deserve a star. If I could give a -5 star for this company I would. Incompetent idiots!
