I have bought light bulbs, solar lights that are $20 or more, wire shelves for my basement for storage, and tools. I bought a shoe storage for under the bed and only paid $4.95 and it was not what I expected (kinda flimsy) but it was perfect to store my winter blanket in it. If the deal is too good, then you might be disappointed in the quality. I rated this review 5 due to the customer service - great! I have not ordered any electronics - can't review those items. Just bought and received an indoor/outdoor thermometer and simply love it. Getting one for my sister (today-hope they are still there)
I bought a gas grill cover. Sounded like a good deal, was a thin plastic black drop cloth! Or like a disposable picnic table tablecloth. My previous purchase was OK, but with this one, I feel taken. I contacted them, and got:
"I am sorry to hear that you feel that way. We have sold many of these items and had great success with them. Thanks, Yugster"
Then they considered the case "closed"! I will never order from them again, and I order LOTS from "deal" sites!
The worst of all... you pay they ship when they want and don't answer phones at customer service and the quality of the some of the items is highly questionable
The junk boxes they sell are really junk items you can buy at the dollar store.
Use this website with extreme caution... should be called junkster...
Good prices but cheap Chinese ( or worse) quality. Sometimes the items work and sometimes they don't! Sometimes the instructions are included and sometimes they aren't. Sometimes the instructions are correct and sometimes they are not! The biggest problem is the total absence of customer service! Repeated emails to the complaint site are ignored. I will no longer deal with them and would advise you to beware.
Yugster does not list honestly its products especially electronics. They are right now selling for free 2 ******* lithium ion batteries rated at 5000mah. Just pay shipping and handling. There are NO 5000mah lithium ion batteries of the ******* variety. Posting comments on the site, if not favourable, is never posted. They only post favourable comments.
I can't review a sales experience, because I can't buy what I want! I saw an item that I wanted to buy, had 9+ hours left, but when I tried to buy it, the site said it was no longer available. I figured someone had actually bought it, I missed it, and the site hadn't cleared the posting yet. Checked the next day to see if another might be posted, and it was still there! The clock had reset to maybe 15+ hours left. Tried to buy it again - no longer available. I sent them an e-mail questioning this, and got no reply. Just for the fun/pain of it, I've checked almost every day for about 10 days, and the item is always there and the clock keeps resetting. But still can't buy it - no longer available. Never had a reply to the e-mail. The low price is obviously just a come-on to get you into the site. Can't trust them.
I've encountered 2 problems using Yugster. One a defective product I asked for a return for credit on October 26th and have not had any response what so ever and another product I ordered on November 6th has not been shipped and again my inquiry as to ship date has received no response. Their customer service phone number when called and you press #1 for customer service immediately responds with a "timed out" message.
I ordered an item and they substituted a smaller size. I've attempted to contact them on three occasions with no response. It's been three weeks since my first attempt. They still had the deal that I purchased listed on their site with the larger size clearly shown when I made my first attempt to complain.
No response equals no customer service equals no more orders from me!
Purchased merchandise from this site - per their statements, they say it takes at most 5 working days to ship if from their facilities. Still no shipping date.
I contacted Yugster.com with no results - they say they will ship it soon - cancelling the order - F Yugster
Ps. I'm a joe average shopper - I do not work for an online store. I just thought I saw a good deal that didn't go thru and when I contacted Yugster to give them an opportunity to correct their mistake, they screwed up yet again - if I could give them zero starts I would
"Don't buy anything from Yugster and they have a terrible customer service.
When I bought 3 items and 2 items are defective products and I didn't receive one item.
And I asked to Yugster customer service but no answer.
I want to say again about Do not buy from Yugster!"
Low quality Chinese made items, the electronics are refurnished although they mask that face with other statements like recertified. Shipping is the worst, no care in packaging or enough packing material to prevent damage. No customer service follow up, only time you here from Customer Service is when you are making a purchase. Do no buy from this online retailer!
I wish I could give no star review. I have purchased a few things from Yugster in the past. A couple of years ago, they sold downloadable Microsoft Professional Office Plus for $99.97. I bought a copy as back up. I didn't install it on my laptop as I was planning to buy a new one sometime down the road. I decided to install it a couple of weeks ago and I could get the Key code to work. When I contacted Microsoft, I was told that my key code was pirated #. I called Yugster several times and left messages, none was returned. I emailed them and someone said they will look into it but never got back to me. My credit card company can not help – I have reported them to Microsoft and BSA for software piracy.
I ordered a Samsung camera from their "Deal of the Day". It took about a week to arrive which isn't bad, but when I opened the package it appears to be a European model since it has a 2 round prong power adapter. Also the box does not indicate that the camera has WiFi as indicated on their webpage (on the US model) further implicating a European model. I didn't open the software/printed material envelope or install the battery to see if WiFi is on the camera as Yugster advertised on their webpage. There was no way to tell before ordering that this was not a US model camera. I immediately contacted Yugster via the email link on their website. It will be interesting to see if/how they respond to this issue. At this point I'd be very hesitant buying form Yugster again.
I like it, I buy things now and then but have found that when they have their deals you can usually google the item and find it at several sites for roughly the dame price, once again you get what you pay for read the info carefully if it is bloadted it is probably refurbished or liquidation items. I got my shark from them and absolutely love it.
