WELL I TOTALLY AGREE with all my fellow ONE star ratings. If I could rate in MINUS stars I would rate Yugster's a NEGATIVE 10 stars. This company is a JOKE. I ordered LED's lights solar powered for Christmas. NEVER worked! Contacted customer service. STILL NOT RESOLVED. No return authorization. LET's ALL contact BBB in the state of the headquarters and FILE COMPLAINTS. STAY AWAY for this company! JUNK!
Purchased a refurb iMac from Yugster. Unit was delivered and did not function properly. Very slow and constant revolving color wheel. Tried to address with Yugster customer service - non existent --- took six days for a reply and was told the supplier would contact me --- never happened. My experience with Yugster is that they will deny, delay, and hope the problem goes away. Scam. Avoid at all costs.
Update: SCAM. I have tried to resolve the problem with the payment processor. Yugster has made no effort to resolve the problem. Defective iMac, no customer service -- Yugster is a complete RIP OFF. Almost three months after purchase and Yugster never made good on their commitment to have their supplier contact me.
I'll make this quick. I just wrote a review on an item that I bought weeks ago and still has not shipped with Yugster. I have sent messages to customer "service" and had ZERO response.
Today I mention this to my girlfriend and found out she too had purchased 2 items for me as an Xmas present. After 2+ weeks showing "preparing to ship", she suddenly rec'd a notice that the order was cancelled by Yugster. It is starting to appear that Yugster is just going down the tubes quickly.
I know they have lost two customers that cant trust in shipping, communication or even fulfilling an order AFTER it has been accepted.
RESOLUTION: I think
1. Contacted customer service(weeks after purchase) to inform them that I would just like a refund and I'll go get the item local for Xmas.
2. A WEEK later, I rec'd a response that the item was now shipping but I can return it once I have it. They are waiving the restocking fee.
3. It will be sent back within the next two days. I'll update when I get my $ back.
***My initial thought is that it took customer service 7 days to get back to me! Really?
When I submitted my complaint, it did say... Due to high volumes, it may take 2 days to get back to me. LOL guess they meant 7.
I have purchased several items from Yugster. The quality is usually less than desirable. And there shipping is terrible. 12 -15+ days to get a product that I payed the shipping on is just not acceptable. This last time will be my last order from them. I ordered two pairs of earrings for my daughters. They charged me shipping for EACH pr, instead of combining the orders. It has been 11 days and I just checked with them and they told me expect them by Jan 1,2016..
Do not buy from a failed Store
I you buy from them on 11/20/2015.
It was a very bad experience they did not freight.
I sent them many messages did not answer them.
I waited until the date 12/15/2015 has not been shipping the product.
I asked them to refund but they do not respond and did not re amount.
I've opened dispute at PayPal.
PayPal returned the money.
Beware of them is the worst shop in America.
Beware Beware Beware
Ive ordered from Yugster several times in the past year. I've had no problems with any of the products and quite a few of the products far exceeded my initial expectations.
There are an exponential number of "deals", or sites claiming to have "deals" on products ranging from brand name tech to knock off cz jewelry on the web. The individuals and companies responsible for scamming customers and those who work diligently at perfecting these techniques dont typically prove resilient over time. Of course, neither do consumers who anticipate receiving something for nothing in most cases.
Obviously Yugster has a far lower overhead, and definitive agreements with the company trade lines who consistently provide these products for them to sell. Personally, I can handle lower level customer support in exchange for the 70 percent discount I enjoy at checkout.
Certainly, many consumers have had dismal experiences with outfits who specialize in the daily deals genre as well as personal resale sites, i. E, Craigslist, Offer Up and the like.
Ive found that the difference with Yugster, and a select few other sites is primarily in their ability to deliver a prodct at a reduced cost which is in direct allignment with what Ive read in the description and what Ive been shown in the item photos.
I like Yugster, so do a slew of other people who have dealt with them. Granted, I'm certain folks have been disappointed at times for one reason or another for whatever reason(s), some valid and some invalid.
Yugster has been around for a good while, and I don't foresee that changing in the near future. Which in addition to my personal experiences with them as well as the staying power they've solidified in this particular niche speaks volumes to the reliability they have as a company and the products they continue to sell.
My first order from Yugster was good... after that forget it. Bad product... bad customer service! Do NOT order from Yugster!
Terrible experience, and possibly the worst customer support I have ever experiences with an online purchase. Purchase of several items was made on 11/5... some items arrived by 11/15, but 1 was missing and another that had tracking info, arrived but the item in the bag was not what I ordered and matched another item from my order. Their logistics is screwy and it takes a long time to get your order. I worked with a CSR for over a week to resolve the 2 problems and I threatened with a CC chargeback. She told me that if I did a chargeback I would be forced to pay restocking fees. How can they charge me restocking fees for items I never received? In the end, I will just do the full charge back and ship all their junk back."
I wish I had looked up this review site before making a purchase. Buyer beware!
I ordered two flood lights from Yugster. Advertised as bright and meant for outdoor use. The product I received was emitting light more on the scale of a few night lights put together. Requested a refund since the product was not as advertised and they allowed me to return them, but classified it as me "changing my mind". I am out shipping costs both ways and a 15% restocking fee. That sets me back like $25 for an initial $40 purchase and got nothing out of it!
I was really impressed with Yugster's prices. But it's not worth it. I bought a refurbished phone from them. It's slow and shuts off on me all the time. My husband bought a hands free headset from them. It came without some parts. He contacted Yugster and they told him it didn't say in the ad that it came with those parts. Really? Why would anyone buy it if it didn't have all the pieces needed for it to function. I contacted customer service over and over with an issue of not being able to log in to the website and they never responded. Maybe their non-electronic items are good. But our experience has not been positive.
Unless you are into buying computers with fake software, I suggest you shop somewhere else.
I bought a Junk Box a few months ago and was probably the worst possible way to waste $20. What was in it? Flimsy disposable razors, mini cologne bottle (box it came in looked opened and reclosed, who knows if the bottle was open too), mini pressure gauge, $. 50 sunglasses, a fabric card holder, fabric bag thing, and broken earbuds. Amazing, no? It seemed pretty much a "dude" pack, but I am a girl, but I'm sure even if a guy got these items, everything would probably all go in to the trash or at best "the drawer of junk that never gets touched for years on end." I did reach out to them about it, but alas they didn't care. I get it, it WAS aptly named "Junk Box" so I guess I deserved every bit of this, because Junk was EXACTLY what I received, but really you'd think $20 would get you something that was at least new or usable. I've vowed to never purchase anything from them again, I hope you all refrain from doing business with them as well. :) Have a great day, guys!
Several times orders have had issues -- every time resolved within a day! Whether a missing part or broken one, very prompt resolution.
Sometimes the items work and sometimes they don't! Sometimes the instructions are included and sometimes they aren't. Sometimes the instructions are correct and sometimes they are not! The biggest problem is the total absence of customer service! Repeated emails to the complaint site are ignored. I will no longer deal with them and would advise you to beware.
If you want good, inexpensive products, go to Woot. Yugster should be called Suckster! Bought LED bulbs and every single one (4) burned out within three weeks! Yugster's response was to ignore all attempts by me to return. Finally took back after weeks of pushing them! Now I'm faced with another issue and find they are even worse than the first time. I'll be filing complaints with FTC (interstate trade) and BBB as this is a more costly item. Even emailed their CEO who follows their practice of ignoring dissatisfied customers. Note that there is no phone number for the company or customer service. This should (and should have) been a warning sign! Run AWAY from Yugster! Don't waste your money! I hope they go under as they deserve too!
My first purchase went well, so I decided to make a second purchase. I bought the box of junk. After reading the description, it sounded like a great deal. The reviews were all negative but since my first order went well, I decided to give it a try. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. My box was $15 and $5 shipping. It was junk and no where near the $15. Items were in pieces and/or broke. I don't think they could have thrown in cheaper things if they had tried. Trust me, Its not worth the money.
This site is seriously the worst. Their customer service representative will log off of your chat regarding an issue whether you are done with the conversation or not. They rarely answer your emails & are extremely rude. They have already received my item & have yet to refund me. Probably won't. I'm taking this issue to my cc company because they sent me a completely broken MacBook Pro made in 2010! It's 2015... & was advertised as refurbished & new & was wrapped in some type of skin. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
Don't believe positive reviews from other sites like Resellerratings - many are from paid reviewers.
I bought two charging cables Yugster advertised as "Genuine Apple Cables." When I received them they weren't Apple Cables at all. I tried to charge my iPad and then iPhone and both displayed on-screen message "This Cable or accessory is not Apple compliant and will not reliably charge your device."
Neither device would charge with the cables provided.
I contacted Yugster support who provided a "work around" for "knock off cables" and officially closed my request for a refund.
I disputed the transaction through the credit card company.
STAY AWAY from this group of CHINESE SCAM ARTISTS."
Yugster sells knockoffs after buying some beats from them the packing looked funny so i did some background and yes they are fakes no serial number on them buyer beware there is no manufacture warranty on any of the stuff do to it is china knockoff
Answer: Most of the computers are refurbished and are out of the manufacturer warranty. But most have a 90 day warranty. Or you can buy a protection plan I guess.
Answer: They are based in Washington if you get their email marketing it's in the footer as it is required by law.
