TopCashback has higher promo rates as clickbait, and does not honor the higher cash back. I purchased a Microsoft Surface Pro through the TopCashback shopping portal during a promo in November 2018, but did not receive the higher cash back. Do not trust this company! Recently contacted support regarding a cashback payout. Rather than resolving my question, they took away the cashback earned. This fraud of a service will look for any excuse not to pay cashback and thus, cannot be trusted. Use Quidco instead, a much more reputable service.

Whenever there were small cashback sums (10-30$) they will usually pay.
Then, on bigger purchases with bigger cashback, problems arise and of course they find all the reasons in the World to avoid paying (referrals, agencies, etc.)

I use the site often, but have to submit missing cashback claims every month. They keep adding restrictions on when you can "claim" for their mistakes. Not too early, and then suddenly it's too late.

Was supposed to get $75 cashback on large order from Mint Mobile, also small cashback from Paula's Skincare. Neither was tracked, sent claims, today I noticed on my claim that they have attached the current offer from Mint Mobile of $20 to my claim! They keep asking for an order no starting with MT, well my order no starts with MMO! I'll be sticking with Rakuten, so much more professional! I suggest you look elsewhere, like an organization that rates a businesses practices. And you'll find that this business doesn't measure up. Why? Cause they blame everyone else. If you use TopCashBack don't fail for the extra % if you redeem a giftcard my account got hacked and someone redeemed $82usd worth of Sephora giftcards. I had tried to use it the day before and added it to my Sephora account and the next day when i went to order the balances were zero. They couldve cancelled those giftcards and reissued it to the account and the shipments at Sephora wouldn't have been shipped. I contacted them and they said no other IP adresses have logged in and that either the "hackers had access to my phone" or that no such occurance happened. I sent them screen shots of a bunch of ip addresses trying to log into my email. My email and paypal ended up hacked. Apparently my account is secure and another account isn't needed. Also if you try to use those promotions of get $3 extra that never applies (you can even see that its an on going issue)
Overall $#*!ty customer service who accused me of lying.

Did 3 big transactions with aliexpress and banggood over a 3 months span and during that time, all my items were shipped more than a month and each time I contacted them, they would say the following:
"We do everything we can to help our members get the cashback on their purchases however I'm afraid that there is little more we are able to do for AliExpress purchases since they aren't accepting our missing cashback claims."
If you know these retailers like aliexpress and banggood cannot accept your missing cashback claims, then why have them as a partner, to begin with. All 3 answers were identical as if a bot is answering these or customer services have canned responses to just copy and paste to customers.
I will completely stupid enough to think that their site offering much higher cashback compared to others like rakuten etc... Now I know why they do that, it's all pure deceiving and unethical practices, not sure why they are still in business.
P. S: All their positive reviews are bought and are probably fake, please don't be fooled as I did.

To answer your question, we still partner with merchants that don't offer claims because we still like to give our members the opportunity to earn the cash back that's being offered. If we did not include them on site our members would not be able to collect any cash back from their transactions. With that said, we provide a disclaimer on any merchants that do not accept claims so that our members know upon making a transaction that they cannot submit a claim, should the instance occur in which their cash back has not tracked. It is up to each member to decide if they are okay with this prior to transacting. If cash back is not tracking there is usually a reason behind it that is outside of the merchant and rather has to do with browser settings, cookies, cache, etc. that can be easily resolved. Don't waste your time. They won't pay out the cash back... especially if its high. They will give you ever excuse in the book and even if you follow everything to a "T" they will end it with the vendor didn't approve the purchase. Well i called the vendor and they said they have no clue who top cash back is and that they don't approve of any non sense like that. They do know who ebates/rakuten is and they were fine with them. List of excuses by toipcashback to not approve cash back:

Others can include having an ad blocker installed and turned on, not clearing your cookies/cache before entering our site to make a purchase, and having other pages opened while shopping and jumping back and forth in between your purchases. Some merchants will even explain in their terms & conditions that you should start your shopping with an empty cart. After having used TCB for a while now and lodging several missing cashback claims, I can say they have a very low success rate and high defect rate. Their system will record one visit and miss five so you're better off settling with lesser CB elsewhere but get it for sure rather than taking your chances here and being denied. With them, once denied always denied. They never reverse their decisions even in the face of bold evidence. Their customer service agents will very apologetically give you a cliched response that their site wasnt the last referred before making your purchase or that you did not clear your cookies or some other rubbish and you'll never see your money esp when it matters the most. I have spent innumerable hours and tons of energy going back and forth with them on some high dollar purchases that I made through their site when other sites had a zero CB offer, but to no avail. I have decided to ultimately quit using them after all. They dont have mechanisms in place and leave much to be desired. Getting any money from them is like pulling teeth and there are many better options for cashback out there. My wife and I opened 2 accounts and I referred her so we would be entitled to a sign up bonus. The emails were very similar and they did not like that saying that only one person was managing both. We made 4 purchases, 2 on each account. They said we would need to close/merge to only one and I would have to forfeit any "new" deals on one of the accounts and would receive on only one of them. After offering that, they come back and say that no sign up bonus or what they consider new member deals will be paid. They had sent emails with a "purchase $10 or more and get $10 back" and do not want to honor even that. If you want to be a masochist and an optimist thinking it won't happen to you, good luck!

I have used several sites to earn rewards on purchases. Thought this site would be great because they seemed to pay out at higher %. It has been 6 months since I made my purchases and they just were upgraded to confirmed stays. Maybe it will be another 6 months till they actually pay out... not holding my breath! This site is just not worth it. They rarely accurately track orders that were properly placed and customer service is akin to a Hysterical pregnancy. Avoid. Take the advice unless you like waiting and waiting and never getting any cashback. Site really needs accountability and Integrity.

I'm sticking to Rakuten. I've submitted several claims since 2019 and TopCashBack has NEVER responded to me. My last online purchase at Sam's Club was supposed to give me 10% cash back - sounds great when you're buying a laptop and you're "supposed to" earn 10 % cash back. That 10% amounted to almost $90 back back. I checked my account and instead of "pending" or "payable"... it was "canceled $0.00" less than an our later. WHAT A JOKE! I submitted another claim knowing they will never ever respond to me, but it's worth trying to get my $90.

I don't understand other cash back sites can post their cash back amounts that I've earned within days (and many times sooner) but there is no acknowledgement from TopCashback that my purchases even tracked. I have been waiting weeks for a response to purchases I made through their site but have heard nothing. Rakuten has far better customer service and at least acknowledges that it tracked my purchases. TopCashback has totally unresponsive customer service. This site is a total scam. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and my state's Consumer Protection Division within the AG's office. I encourage everyone to do the same. No website is flawless, in fact I'm having an issue right now but figured it's a merchant problem with paying out my cash back. I'm a "big spender", over the past year I've spent over 1mil. I plan on spending approximately 3 million over the next 2 years. TBC never had an issue with paying me large amounts. So reviews stating that they don't pay over "$15" is not true. I've "earned" over $1,000 on a transaction. I used several sites and somehow I continue to use TBC so they are, in my opinion, better.
This is the 2nd time, I made a purchase with a high percentage cashback and did not track, after months of back and forth, they come back with an excuse (the retailer cannot identify that they are the last referrer of the transaction) and tell you they can not pay.
They advertise higher payouts than others but did not pay 2 times. Save your time and energy and go with more reliable sites. Don't believe any offers like 60% cashback on NordVPN, etc..

I bought some liquor at Total Wine & More, going through TopCashBack, in early March. 6 months later, after multiple back and forths, see this absolute disgrace of an answer TCB gave to get out of paying me: Sep 03 2023 Hi there, Unfortunately in this case the retailer has awarded the commission (cashback) for your sale to another affiliate. These other affiliates can include rival cashback portals, comparison sites or even a simple click on a Google ad. This has resulted in the tracking cookie not linking back to TopCashback. We are not denying that you clicked-through to make the purchase from your TopCashback account, but certain aspects can have a negative effect on your transaction tracking and TopCashback not being recognized as the 'last referrer' of the sale. Reasons for a retailer making this decision can include: -If your computer cookies were not cleared before making a transaction -Another website, cashback portal, pop-up advertisement, search engine or comparison site may have linked to your transaction -Coupon codes which are not advertised by TopCashback. -Using ad-blockers on your browser These are only suggestions, however, as the retailer does not advise us which of these is applicable in your particular case.
