I joined Swap.com a few days ago, and found out a little too late how their exact methods work, and it's not something in which I feel comfortable participating. I don't like the method they use for acceptance and rejection, because it puts you under the spotlight to get the item out now now now. I mean, I can't make two or three trips to our post office every day. That eats up a lot of fuel. Add in Swap.com's monthly fee, transaction fee and shipping costs, and you're really not saving any money at all!

I can't recommend them as a way to really save money. I'm sure there are much better choices out there.

I previously wrote a negative review but I need to correct it, because I did not understand the swap.com process. When you get your first email from them about a box being processed, it might look like everything was rejected, which is what happened to me. But then they ended up posting a bunch of my items. I just needed to be patient. They were very professional in dealing with my frustration. Now I will definitely send more items their way. I haven't bought anything yet but the kids clothes look great.

I've personally used swap.com numerous times and I have never had any problems with them. They provide amazing second handed clothing and accessories for prices even cheaper than goodwill. Not to mention they ALWAYS have sales and promo codes so you're bound to get clothing for a few dollars each as well as for free shipping. I've found brands such as Juicy Couture, GAP, as well as VS. I especially love how they describe each listing on their website accurately based on the items condition. My only problem would be the fact that trying to search for a specific item as well filter items is kind of annoying, a lot of the time it will return no result.

Swap.com has been the best discovery for me. I've been buying up bunches of baby clothes for my new grandson who grows out of them faster than I can dress him for an incredibly low price with quality items. Everything advertised and pictured on Swap.com has been exactly as described and shown, prices are unbelievable, and all items come packaged individually wrapped and labeled. Highly recommend for all items. My daughter said she wishes she had known about swap.com when she was pregnant, their maternity clothing is all first rate as well. I love going to yard sales and shopping online, and this has combined both, yard sales online. Items were also shipped in a very timely manner.

I have a limited clothing budget, and stumbled across swap.com looking for cheaper clothing online. I have only put in two orders, but both arrived within a decent amount of time, about a week plus or minus a day or two, (if you're spoiled by a certain site's prime shipping, the wait is a bummer) and everything was in excellent condition. The photos on the site are accurate, their customer service is prompt and polite, and you can even pay through your Amazon account, huge added bonus! I love them and will continue to shop there.

I ordered several summer tops. My order arrived quickly and the tips were lovely. Each was individually packaged just like you are in a retail shop. All were in very good condition. I had to make a return due to side but that's what happens sometimes when yours not trying on. The return process was painless and I've got store credit, which I'll be happy to use. Swap.com is Perfect! I hope everyone tries Swap.com. I have had the best experience with great prices, high quality, punctual free shipping, extremely easy selling, and I love the saved searches that sen me emails with items that become available to match! I was looking for unique items and if you don't find them just save your search and if they get not in stock they email you! I would never have attempted to sell anything except swap.com made it so easy I thought OK why not. Then all my items sold and I got money from things I never intended to use again (ie maternity clothes). I cannot express how much I love this site! It is my new favorite site for kids clothes, books, videos, toys, etc."

Swap auto-listed and sold my $600 suit for $8.40. Eight dollars and 40 cents! Swap used to be good for sellers to get a decent cut for nice, good condition items. You could also custom price your clothes, say if they were 100% cashmere or rarer items. Now they auto price things without the seller's permission and sell them at whatever price their algorithm produces. I tried to get them to take down my listings that were grossly underpriced and they didn't! I sent the box in 3 months ago having no idea they would screw me over like this! Sellers will inevitably leave when treated so poorly!

When I started I made roughly 40 to 50% but they changed their policy so the owners of swap.com can make a lot more money so for every item that sells for $10 or less you only get $2 I also didn't know that buyers can use 50% off coupons so there for my Boutique items brought me in about $2 an item do not send your items here take them to local stores that buy them outright because they pay low prices but slap.com will pay you even less we are warning you all these write-ups don't do it unless you don't care about getting next to nothing back

I've often searched for good cheap clothes on ebay, but Swap.com is much better because it's devoted mostly to clothes and accessories. You can find good long pants, for example, for prices as low as $3 or $4, and most clothing has a 75% to 90% discount off its retail value. If you prefer your clothes new with tags, they also offer those. Shipping is free with your first purchase of $20, and very reasonable thereafter (a flat fee of $4.99 if you have all items shipped in one package). Clothing is clean and folded carefully, then each item is shrink-wrapped.
