Yes, I am pretty much HOOKED shopping at swap.com! I discovered Swap.com about a month ago and now even my sister shops at Swap! Great prices for all new and gently used clothes, & shipping is always on time or arrives beforehand. I have yet to be disappointed!
I ordered two items from this company and as of 1/27/2022 it has been 2 months and the items have not even shipped. Been ordering from Swap for 4 years and had no problem but as of about 1 year ago Swap has basically stopped shipping items. The worse part is that I have written customer service 5 times and they have never gotten back to me to explain what is going on. Wish I could give them no stars. STAY FAR AWAY from this company. Also, You'll also have to use your credit card company to get a refund.
They used to have hundreds of items load every day. Mostly awesome brands/good quality. I'd have 20-30 items in my "storage" that I would have shipped every few weeks. In the last four months things have taken a drastic turn for the worst. Some days no new items are loaded in any category. Brands have gone down hill and prices gone up. I've messaged swap multiple times about this only to get a generic response. Something is not right. I miss the old swap :(
The site has a huge selection of quality clothing at prices the middle class girl can afford. I am on social security and clothing wasnt an option until I found Swap.com. Other than a few items being too large I have had 5 star experience with them.
I wonder how many great deals I've missed out on by not finding Swap.com until now.
There's no telling how much I've wasted on new clothing when so many items, in great shape and looking good as new, were right there on Swap.com. I am really excited with what I've found so far. It's now my favorite website. I'm pleasantly surprised to see how
Reasonable their prices are. Even though it's a consignment store, all the items I've seen are priced extremely low for the brand names & the nearly new condition they are in--much lower than a lot of other consignment shops I've seen. It's a pot of gold.
I found this site while bedridden. It replaced my beloved trips to consignment shops which I so badly missed. As a mom of 8 my family relies on my ability to find great deals and swap.com has made that possible. Highly recommend!
At this time I have easily spent $250 on this site. New job, with a more casual work place, plus losing a size... Very easy and AFFORDABLE way to get a new wardrobe. Items are as pictured, brands you know, fast shipping, easy returns. Seriously, just win win win. Can't sing it's praise's loud enough.
I have been using S. W. A. P. for over six months and have ordered 6 or 7 times. It has become my favorite site for consignment items. All orders have arrived on time, or early, in great shape - items packages in nice plastic bags. The website is HUGE, and I rarely shop it all at one time, but their filters make it easy to narrow your searches. The prices are good to excellent and the variety is fantastic! In the few rare occasions when something needed to be returned, the process was easy and quick. When ever I have contacted the staff, they have always been more than helpful. I highly recommend this site, and I am a very picky shopper.
Swap is a wonderful clothing store with prices that cannot be beat, I know, because I always try to find the best prices! I am a stay at home mom with young ones and swap has made buying quality clothing affordable for myself and my kids of which I cannot thank them enough. Their return policy is fantastic which offers no risk in purchasing and their customer service online and by phone is how I wish every company was run! Many times I have emailed or called only to be greeted with kindness and quick response. Swap is an excellent company run by lovely hard working people with excellent quality items and because of this I will always shop here!
Recently I've been trying a variety of second-hand online sites/shops. Before doing so, I've read all the reviews. Swap was the one I was the most nervous about. I was pleasantly surprised by my experience, however. I just received my items. They were delivered before expected, exactly, or better, than described. I'm not sure if it's "beginner's luck"or maybe after so many negative reviews it is making a turn around. I'm very happy, I will shop from swap again, I will continue to review, bad or good.
Ive sold over 24 items so far on Swap, and not once have I gotten a payout. They keep telling me that all of the money goes towards my shipping fee and after doing the math I've definitely exceeded that. Scam.
Before inflicting the worst possible experience on their customers, this used to be an excellent site to trade media. Everything went off the cliff following the introduction of the Swap Market, which then was replaced by Swap Valet. I tried out Valet service, which aspires to be like a recycling-focused Ebay, and my item was not accepted. That didn't really do anyone any good. The customer service here has been abysmal since both the failed introduction of Swap Market and the takeover from the Finland team. Recommend you stay far away..
I bought clothes while pregnant, and loved the low prices. However, when it came time to send items in to sell, let's just say I could have gotten better pricing off Craigslist. My items were selling awesome off the site, but when it came to getting a payout for my items, I got ripped off, BIG time. They take 25% of your individual sale item, then take an additional $1.50 for handling. Which I understood, they have to make money too. So my total payout (I thought) after all THAT was taken would have been 23.00, I ended up getting $10.00 after they took commission fees out. Needless to say selling on swap.com is a rip off.
I sent in $2000 worth of beautifully pressed, brand name clothes since I've gained a few pounds, and need space in my closet. They sat on the clothes for 120 days... and then gave me $1.65 for all of them. That's one dollar and sixty-five cents. Don't waste your time. Also, the last two shirts I bought from them had stains on them, so it's not like their standards are "so high", they ship substandard product all the time.
I have nothing but good things to say about swap.com. I've ordered from them twice now... The first was kids toys (great prices and perfect condition) the second were sleepers for my nephew. All were exactly what he needed except for one... I requested a refund for the one bc of it being fleece (too hot for summer) swap.com was very prompt in getting me a refund! No questions asked. I can't wait until I need more clothes. Swap.com will be the first place I check!
I ordered an item on 12/15/21. It is now 61/2 weeks later and still do not have my order. Web site states they are behind, now processing orders placed between 12/27 and 1/6/22. But yet my order still has not processed! I have contacted 5 times with only an automated response to check web site for frequently asked questions!. I am now requesting a refund. I don't have high hopes of receiving it though. Learn from my mistake, stay away. They will never see me again.
I haven't purchased clothes from anywhere else since I discovered this site! Their prices are low, and the clothing is exactly as they describe. I break into my "happy dance" every time my package arrives!
I used to shop here and pray that the item would fit. Finally, I just gave up. I contacted customer service and asked them why they don't provide proper sizes/dimensions. She told me it does have the size listed S, M, L, XL. This is what I consider a novice comment. Do they not know that a small by one designer is not the same as another. I need to know the waist, bust, length etc... "in inches." I was told I could send it back if it doesn't fit. What a pain in the &$$. I buy elsewhere now!

I don't remember where I heard about swap.com but I'm thrilled that I did, being in the process of some major weight loss it's wonderful to have someplace to buy nice but inexpensive clothes and I go down in size, sure beats trying to have things altered or doing it myself when I find a minute or two. Everything I have bought has been clean in good repair and looking fairly newsy I can even wear these items to work
My son is 9 and has been going into a new size every season. I only buy his clothes every season from this site now. I have made several orders. Everything came in less than a week! Every item was exactly as represented on the website. Shipping was free and extremely fairly priced.
Answer: I have only placed one order so far. I ordered 10 blouses. I returned 5, due to size issues. All 10 blouses were nice, but 5 did not fit quite right due to different manufacturer's. You need to get an RMA # for returns. I was promptly refunded my money for the 5 blouses. I would order again in the future. I am not aware of any return quantity restrictions. Hope this helps.
Answer: If you want to sell clothes, all the information is on their website. Basically, they get a percentage and then they pay you thru an existing PayPal account that you set up.

Answer: Same here, I sent a box in June and have received nothing nothing saying it was accepted or rejected absolutely nothing. I've sent 5 emails and nothing. I will be contacting the better business bureau as well.
Answer: I don't think so. I've sold and from my experience it varies. The things that I thought would sell first, haven't sold yet. It varies by what people are looking for at the time. I've bought all different seasons at random times. I buy by what's a great deal. When selling, group like items together. I've noticed multiple things sell first.

Answer: There's no way for them to go over prices. They have to see the items and determine from going over it, if it's acceptable, once it's accepted, then you have to determine the price you want to sell it for. You could try searching on their site for similar items and see what they are priced at. I did notice when pricing my items that I'd get a little notice with recommended prices, which was very helpful. I didn't have a good experience selling but many others have. Make sure you take pictures of your items, that's very important. I appreciated that their site is set up to allow you to take back your items if you changed your mind about selling them. I'm in the process of getting back my items. Hopefully it works out well and I get all my items back.
