These guys are a joke! I sent a box of barely worn clothes, freshly laundered, no stains, etc. Several items were rejected, let's see if I get them back, and EVERY item accepted was listed in fair condition (again most items were worn once or twice). I wish I had done more research before I sent in my box better off having your own yard sale!
I've ordered several times from swap.com and was pleased with the quality of clothes. I am on a fixed income and this site has been a tremendous help with purchasing clothes for my grandchildren/great-grandchildren. They grow so fast it's not worth it to be constantly buying new clothes at the outrageous prices! I highly recommend swap.com.
I don't know what this company is like when it comes to selling or swapping but I am content to buy from them. Needed some clothes for 2 young girls in our church and didn't have much time or money to spend. Found swap.com and could not have been more pleased with the results I received! Ordered several pieces and the package was shipped within 2 days just like they said. I received the package in plenty of time to do any altering so it could be ready for them when they needed it. Could not believe the prices. So cheap! Am recommending this site to others!
I enjoy shopping with swap.com, and recently an even greater appreciation when realizing how easy they make the return process if something doesn't fit or you don't like it. Now that's customer service! I will continue to shop at swap.com and I encourage others to check it out.

Ive been shopping there recently, placed 2 orders of 300$ each. Buy everytime i asked a simple question or a request the answer are unclear, careless or simply negative. This is discouraging.It would have been great if they could hired professional to take care of customers.Not a bunch of amateurs paid just to answer no. No. Not possible... over and over again.
I found this site just browsing around one night and it is awesome. Designer clothes for next to nothing. They arrive quickly and are in A1 condition. Not one tear or stain or any imperfection. I have purchased over 30 shirts and blouses and a couple of scrub tops and with my last purchase the total is less than 150.00. Even thrift stores cannot beat their prices or the high quality. I have told everyone I know. Buying top of the line clothes for next to nothing in my pj's at home, it doesn't get better than this.
Many times the items are not described correctly and that is very frustrating. I bought a cardigan, that when I opened it, was actually a sweater with the buttons sewn on. Also some pants for my son said size 12 and when i've got them where size 12 Husky, way too big for him. Later a bought a skirt described as 27 inch length, when I opened it was 22 inches.
If they described the item incorrectly, they will give you a full refund of the item but a partial refund in shipping, which I find unfair, since you paid full price for shipping and is not your fault they sent an incorrect item.
I'm not buying again from them. I'll stick to thredup.com, never had a problem with them.
I am so glad I found this site because I work with kids and need a lot of materials. The toys are clean, arrive quickly, and most hardly look used at all. I do not have the money to spend on these types of materials new, so this is better than a garage sale! I can check by age, gender, type of toy, or other characteristics without having to paw through junk I don't want. I will probably not swap toys because I use them all the time, but I do like browsing the site and making inexpensive purchases.
I have never shopped here before but swap.com is amazing. Lightly used clothes great prices. I ordered 4 items they arrived well packaged and very quickly. I had a lot of fun shopping and they have so many things to choose from. I would recommend this to anyone they have things for old, young, in between, kids, babies for all sizes and shapes it's an amazing experience, I will be telling everyone I know to shop there or at least give it a try. I will shop there again very soon.
Everything comes as described and pictured. Extremely easy to use the website. All the great prices of a thrift store while never having to leave home. I especially love this website for the children's clothes. They grow out of them so fast, I never want to pay full price for something that will be worn less than a year.
The packaging is great as well, everything is folded perfectly. Best online shopping in my experience.
What a rip off. Steer clear of this site. Yes, the items you order may be "new with tags," but they come with holes or other damage. They sell Wal-Mart t shirts with the price still on them and have the gall to charge more than the price tag. Never again.

I was online searching for a silver color cardigan by Wooden Ships when Swap.com popped up, i took a look and that was it. I ended up placing 3 orders from dresses to tops and bottoms, most of which did fit, it all came quickly and both my daughter and i are now addicted to this site, not sure that, s a good thing lol.
The way they pack the items is in small individual plastic bags with a description of the item labeled on the bag, this way the box containing your ( picks) can hold more items in less space. They are particular on the condition of all sold items and i have never received anything ripped or stained, a lot of their items are like new condition if not new. The prices are better than most consignment stores who tack on a overhead charge etc. my girls and i are now return customers and if we are looking for a particular item we check out Swap.com first.
I love Swap.com! I am so satisfied with my first order I went back and placed another order. Everything showed up clean, smelled great, and looked as good or better than expected. I love that it's not just expensive name brand clothes like other consignment sites, they really have something for everyone. I have checked out all of the online consignment shops I can find and Swap.com is by far the best executed. They have the largest selection with great pictures and great prices! Highly recommend!
I have sent in items to Swap for years. They have always paid me on time and inform me of every sale. They state they take 3 months to process, which many sellers clearly dont understand. And they charge for boxes to be shipped so sellers dont get the money they thought, because they subtract the shipping costs. This is all on the website. The company has a, right to change their percentages if they choose as business changes. I was given the old percentage for the items that I sent before the change! And the new percentage for those sent after the change. People expect top dollar when they are doing nothing but sending old clothes in a box, really? This company has gotten so many bad reviews because of other peoples lack of understanding. No company/employees are, perfect and listing may be incorrect sometimes. This is human error. As a seller on Ebay as well, this happens. Why is nobody able to see things from the others persons perspective anymore?

If your family and friends sign up under your link, you get $20 when they shop! I am readying our home for an expected baby so, instead of a huge shower, I am asking friends to sign up and purchase the gift from swap.com. Then, I use the credit I receive from Swap from their purchase for the items we need for the upcoming bundle of joy. That is just one way to make this site work wonders for you! Oh! And let's talk customer service. If something you purchase does not fit or is not up to quality standards, ship it back for a refund. AMAZING! I have been a customer for a few months and am totally sold on them.
90 days after sending in a large box of clothes I contacted Swap asking when my items would be posted. After numerous emails to them, I found out they posted my items to other people's accounts. Now I am getting the run-around as they tell me they are waiting for those same customers to get back to them! The company is definitely having problems.
They are making little effort to make this right and I fear I have lost great items I could have sold elsewhere due to their incompetence.

I was very happy w the items but found a small hole in two hard to notice spots. I emailed them and they immediately did a return. I had my money credited to my account in 3 days which is really fast for any online place. I have ordered from them twice and plan on using them this holiday season. Great quality at a fantastic price. Only thing is I wish the shipping was a day or two faster.
Answer: I have only placed one order so far. I ordered 10 blouses. I returned 5, due to size issues. All 10 blouses were nice, but 5 did not fit quite right due to different manufacturer's. You need to get an RMA # for returns. I was promptly refunded my money for the 5 blouses. I would order again in the future. I am not aware of any return quantity restrictions. Hope this helps.
Answer: If you want to sell clothes, all the information is on their website. Basically, they get a percentage and then they pay you thru an existing PayPal account that you set up.

Answer: I don't think so. I've sold and from my experience it varies. The things that I thought would sell first, haven't sold yet. It varies by what people are looking for at the time. I've bought all different seasons at random times. I buy by what's a great deal. When selling, group like items together. I've noticed multiple things sell first.

Answer: There's no way for them to go over prices. They have to see the items and determine from going over it, if it's acceptable, once it's accepted, then you have to determine the price you want to sell it for. You could try searching on their site for similar items and see what they are priced at. I did notice when pricing my items that I'd get a little notice with recommended prices, which was very helpful. I didn't have a good experience selling but many others have. Make sure you take pictures of your items, that's very important. I appreciated that their site is set up to allow you to take back your items if you changed your mind about selling them. I'm in the process of getting back my items. Hopefully it works out well and I get all my items back.
