I placed an order weeks in advance of needing the gifts. When it became apparent they wouldn't be received in time(20 plus days from placing the order), I requested the order be canceled and a refund given. I requested this several times and they continued to force the order, shipping it after I had requested it be canceled and ignored my requests. Their "customer" service it automated replies and they completely ignore your actual messages. Now I'm stuck with items/gifts I cannot use and I'm out $50! I would never suggest using this company!
The tracking is a joke. Shows that it sat in a warehouse in Las Vegas for 10 days, then mysteriously appeared at a center 10 miles from my house on December 20th but never moved from there. So, I didn't have it to give as a gift for Christmas. Very disappointed
I didn't realize they source va lot of stuff from China. They are merely a marketplace facilitator like Amazon. When i found out it would not arrive for 2-3 weeks because it comes from Chins, i cancelled the order before shipment. What followed was a lot of excuses and stonewalling from them. I had to dispute the charge with my bank to get my money back. Never deal with these Chinese frontmen NEVER.
They charge credit card for trial offer even when you do not use it or claim it.
I did order something, and they offered 14 days trial for vault which wasn't used or claimed, and they charge me $99 without permission.
Very bad experience.
I was looking to but Tello phone cards on the web. I found Stack Social listed a great deal on Tello
so i bought their 49.00 deal once i paid i was not asked for my address nothing it has been a month and still nothing i was robbed of 49.00. By the way i went directly to Tello the program that Stacksocial offers does not exist my proof is that the charge is on my credit card
Pretty bad experience here and a warning for others. I placed an order for a drone and the warranty and received a bad drone after waiting 3 weeks. I sent the drone in for the warranty repair and they did not repair and only sent me partial of the cost and not including the cost of the warranty. The lady who was helping (olivia j.) strung me along for almost 7 weeks saying it definitely will be resolved, then she did something really shady, she sent a link for a review and I gave her a positive review then she sent the email back saying sorry we can not do anything, well what scam she knew exactly what she was doing and because of her I am now trying to get the remaining balance reversed as I go on every review site to make sure other people know not to go with this company.
The site looks legit. But the products being pushed are absolute garbage. It's almost stealing. A $20 wrist band to declare you have been vaccinated. Poor fools.
I rarely leave reviews especially unfavorable ones but this company does not have it together and should stop trying to do business online. I have been a consumer advocate for 40 years and I regularly shut down scam companies. Because their departments don't know what each other is doing I am canceling an order and then I may have to take the additional step of canceling that debit card and ordering a new one as well as contacting my attorney. This is very bad business should not occur online nowadays and I cannot recommend this company to anyone else. It is sad when a website captures your debit card information without your consent. That is overall bad business you can find their products cheaper elsewhere and in order to be an astute shopper you need to be careful and not do business with stack social. I was so excited to find their website but now I see too many loopholes and liabilities to feel comfortable ordering from them ever again. Let the buyer beware!
I purchased a VPN deal 5 years ago which was for 10 years. The account has now expired with the supplier and StackSocial support tell me that deal is no longer available and offered me new ones I can purchase instead. No response from them about the original 10 year plan purchased even after chasing.
After using regular headphones for long time i felt like changing to wireless earbuds. So i purchased Cool Pods Wireless Earbuds from stack social for amazing price. The received pods was a genuine quality.
Ordered a product in early Jan. It was never delivered. More than 2 months and over 20 emails to "Wade" and "Logan" the fake-named "support heroes" and all I have to show for my purchase is a credit card balance and a lot of frustration. Stay FAR away from this scam of a website. They will take your money, deliver nothing, and then expect you to thank them for lifting your wallet.
Here's my experience I paid $349 for a computer that was supposed to have 32 GB of RAM when I turned it on it only had 8 GB of RAM basically they told me it's my tough luck too bad we're not refunding partially your money go to heck we don't care about your business that's what they told me I even tried to contact the CEO left email he never contacted me back all I wanted was $100 of my money refunded which I thought was fair considering this was supposed to have 32 GB of RAM and I only had eight they are nothing but false advertisement and fraud do not do business with
The most poor customer service and online sales experience of the pandemic.
They do not stand by their product. They either do not reply, stall, or blame the supplier for poorly supplied and faulty products.
Not sure if they've changed hands, management or policies but they are very very poor.
It has been 2 weeks, dozens of e-mails, mostly unanswered to both StackSocial and their supplier and nothing has happened. The matter is now being escalated on my side to recoup my losses.
I was sold expired WooCommerce plugins through the third party they were using. The third party refused to refund and said the plug-ins would be updated the next week. Over a week later the plugins were still expired. They have since stopped responding to my support emails to refund my payment.
Pathetic poor customer service, slow to respond to email, no phone support.
Still waiting for refund, will likely have to dispute with credit card company. Will never purchase anything from this site again
I've been burned by them too many times now. Not only did my supposed "lifetime" accounts for Zoolz and Degoo end (that's right, I said end) but they added a product to my cart in my last purchase. It's a product I never heard of nor wanted, and I didn't see they snuck it in there when I made the purchase. Now they are unwilling to give me a refund even though I never claimed the code for it. Stay far, far away from these crooks.
StackSocial advertised the promotion price for a product and the code on the Internet in many places. I purchased the product but applied the wrong code which they sent as well. So I did not manage to get the correct promotion price at the end. I made a reasonable and fair request to adjust the price to the promised discount. The voucher code was wrong. I sent the correct code as they advertised, or simply correct the price. The helpdesk refused to change the code. Helpdesk referred to the company policies. This is really terrible. What an awful experience! It is simply a scam.
I purchased the exogun, and I received a defective device that won't turn on. The only way to contact stacksocial is via email. I have emailed them 3 times, but have NOT heard back in well over a week. Very frustrating... ironically I could have used a massage gun to help ease my frustration. Least I forget to mention, delivery took over 3 weeks, which needs improvement if they want to compete with the likes of Amazon Prime.
BlackFriday PromoCode Fail Paid Full PRICE. StackSocial won't refund back to Visa payment
I placed the order and enter the promotion code listed but It didn't work and when click apply then all of sudden it ORDERED for me automatically and pay FULL Price! Yes it didn't ask me payment methods page at all! Took Visa payment that was recorded on a previous payment.
Item: "The complete DevOps certificates courses & practice test bundle" Original $39 dollar after black Friday week discount code is $12. They charged $39 to my Visa and would not refund me. They said they can give me $39 credits back. HOWEVER, store credit can not use Black Friday code AT THE SAME TIME.
So I cost me $39/each credits to pay the same course instead of $12/each!
I am here to tell you YOU GUYS ARE BEING warned. Black Friday WEEK Discount CODE will not work and it will automatically take your PREVIOUS VISA PAYMENT information and charge to the same VISA card.
Furthermore. THey WON"T call you back nor they have a phone number to call. StackCommerce Support is worst. Takes two days to reply anything
And their email called themself "Support Heroes"?
I sent the support ticket 1 minute right away I saw they charged my Visa. It took them days to reply to me back. Then I provided Screen Capture to proof and they wait 2 days to email me back. This is ongoing for 1 week+ already. I am not get their HELP!
False, deceptive and misleading advertising.
Bought lifetime subscription for VPN software BUT my access suddenly expired in November after 5 years.
Contacted Stacksocial multiple times and all I get is a "looking into it" reply while I go without a VPN.
The VPN provider (not their fault) kindly extended my account for a few weeks so they can investigate and I can pursue my complaint against Stocksocial.
According to the VPN provider, I am not the only subscriber who was misled (conned) so how about a class action suit? Is anyone interested?
NOTE: I will file a complaint with the FTC but as I understand all they do is send a "cease and desist" warning letter.
Answer: It took a long time and the intervention of PayPal, but I got a refund--finally--for an item that was never delivered (because it was never sent.) The range of scores for this business makes me wonder why some people get good service and others are ignored--even defrauded.
Answer: They don't want to interact with anyone. You'll get these ridiculous emails from their "Support Heroes" team. They are all cut and paste nonsense, and they deny any responsibility for their vendors. I was only able to get action by working with my credit card company to reverse the charges because of the scam they pulled (item they advertised was not what they actually sold). As a precaution, I also advised my credit card company to automatically deny charges from them. My advice is to NEVER risk buying from them. It's like your mama always told you: "If it sounds too good to be true, it isn't."
Answer: Hi Humberto, We would love to help you on this. Please contact us at https://support.stackcommerce.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Answer: I responded to an ad. Very stupid of me, and i will never do that again!
Answer: They have no customer service, just form letters. No matter how often you email them, you will get no response that makes sense. They have no way of contacting them except emails.
Answer: Clearly playing numbers game. Probably making their own positive reviews. No one stopping them. Internet scammers.
