No help
January 20, 2023

I ordered the Microsoft professional bundle nearly 2 years ago. I've been going back and forward emailing because there isn't a phone number to call trying to get the product key code to work (message says its already been used). The Chloe R. Keep telling me to Present screenshots of what I've already sent but not providing any resolution. A very big disappointment that no one is available to help or solve the problem.

Lied about deilivery
January 19, 2023

Ordered from them so I could have my presents sent to me in time to resend out. If I had known they would lie about the delivery window, I would have ordered from Amazon. Now I am have presents I won't be able to get out in time. I guess I'll have to sue in small claims.

It is a SCAM
November 14, 2022

You buy from them, you cannot access any course and initially they say they do not refund, next they say its been over 30 days they can't refund. There is no customer serveice or telephone service to direct you how to navigate the course. I bought their course and followed the direction to access the course to no avail. Tried to contact anyone to talk for direction to no avail. Other course providers like EDUREKA, you buy your course and you just navigate easily why this STACKSOCIAL you click everywhere and you cannot still see any course and they will not refund your money. It is a BIG SCAM. DO NOT FALL FOR IT.

I bought a deal that went quite bad. I asked for a refund and they try redirects so they don't have to give me my $50 back. They want to resolve it with the merchant when I have already told them I've lost all confidence with them. They don't listen.
To me the company feels like a souless money sucking machine that refuses to spit it back out.
They don't seem to hear the human behind the text. They make out to "empathize" with you. I get a canned response to my email. Very insulting.
I will avoid doing any business with them again. It looks like I'll be taking this up with consumer affairs.

I purchased a lifetime Microsoft Office on Stack Social website but the product key they provided doesn't work and they've stopped responding to my emails when I requested for a replacement or refund. Totally unacceptable, it's a real scam!

Stacksocial is a terrible website that scams unsuspecting customers of their money by selling counterfeit software to them.

The appropriate Rating for this business is 0/5. I wish I could select a ZERO STAR

I am Alfred, and am an engineer and a graduate student who loves data analysis. I live in TX USA and am gainfully employed

I purchased a 2021 MS Office license from the site, I got an order # and the download link, I proceeded to download the software and Install the software package with the provided keys.

When the program started up, It loaded as MS Office 2016, that was rather shocking and to make matters worse when I checked the about page of the office software. It stated that the software is counterfeit.

I complained by chatting with the customer care agent, they raised a ticket and said they will get back to me, they never got back to me to address the issue even after several chat sessions on several days to bring this to their attention. On one of the days during the chat session the agent said that once the license have been issued and used that it could not be returned/refunded and that there's nothing he/she could do for me.
Even Paypal which happened to be the payment processor for the transaction reached out to them on my behalf requesting information about what happened to the order, They replied Paypal that product had been delivered and that they could not address the issue or process a refund.

Please take this as a lesson. Stacksocial is unprofessional in their dealings and thay have a very poor customer care practice. If you patronize Stacksocial you do so at your own risk. Learn from my experience and dont be a part of the many people that have fallen victim to their scams. They dont care about customer experience or the quality of their service delivery. THEY ARE ALL OUT TO CHEAT BEWARE

MS Office Pro Scam
September 12, 2022

Stacksocial sent a key that had already been used when I purchased a lifetime license for MS Office Pro from their site. Still trying to get them to respond. They are not being very responsive. Feels like a total scam.

Terrible company (*updated*)
September 7, 2022

Item was advertised as a genuine brand name (Shashibo) from StackSocial, but the actual item received was a generic, cheap quality copy of the original. StackSocial did charge me for the item but stated the item was purchased from a partner in Wenzhou Zhejiang, China. The Chinese company admitted the item was falsely advertised, and a refund would only be possible if the item was sent back to a room in Longgang City in China instead of StackSocial who charged me. Neither StackSocial nor the Chinese company would provide an RMA. And StackSocial ecommended I deal with the Chinese manufacturer instead. Shipping costs plus tracking service within a communist country would be nearly the cost of the item.

*Update* -- After posting this critical review, StackSocial responded with a possibility to get a refund without sending back the fake item to a room in China. After submitting proof of their credit card charge on my credit card statement, they processed a refund. It shouldn't have taken this long to resolve the problem with a US-based company or resorted to a critical review to get their attention.

I purchased 2 sets of sheets; one full-sized, one queen. I looked them over and then, of course, washed them (first mistake). The pillow cases of the queen set were not completely hemmed. It would be a pain to try to get the pillows in/out. I contacted the company and specifically asked if these were second quality. They never answered that question. What I did learn was that a refund will be issued per the return of the purchase less the cost of shipping. Also, each individual item must be returned in separate packaging with its own return label. So I'm supposed to package up each pillowcase separately? I won't be purchasing anything from Stack Social again. I do not recommend this company. The quality and the customer service is subpar. And their shipping rates are ridiculous - they charge for each item you purchase, not one rate per order. AVOID THIS COMPANY! UPDATE: Since the beginning of August (it is now 9/28) I have trying to find out why my review of these products has not been posted. This is their continued scam. They elicit a review. When you write it, you will see a green check mark and "saved." But if that review is poor, it will never hit the page where the product is shown. I have sent them over 30 emails asking when my review will go live. They gave me excuse after excuse, but never actually addressed the issue. They finally just refunded the product purchase amount (which I NEVER asked for) but the reviews are still not posted. I doubt they ever will be. This means any glowing reviews on their second-quality products are hand-picked and certainly not an honest representation of the product. My original advice remains (only louder): AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Beware the Multiple Hidden Pages with Terms
September 1, 2022

The site hides terms behind multiple tabs, split to deceive you. Customer Support is more than happy to keep up the bait and switch offered by their company. Save yourself disappointment or time in needing to scour their entire page, with multiple links hidden between tabs to uncover that they are trying to just steal your money.

Scamsocial
July 21, 2022

The customer service phone number is DISCONNECTED! I tried to call to ask questions about redeeming Sam's Club Membership. CHAT is cumbersome and difficult to get answers. They fought my complaint to PayPal and won! If they were legit they would have refunded my money immediately. Unscrupulous, dishonest company.
Stay away.

Customer support helpful
April 8, 2022

After I clicked purchase in PayPal, I was not directed back to stack social so I was unable to download my purchase. Their customers support find my purchase even without me giving them the email of the purchase as I didn't know because they never asked when I did the purchase. So their web site and purchase process need work, but I am very happy with the outcome from customer support.

*UPDATE*
After lots of weeks complaining, this issue was resolved and I got refunded. I would still have expected this to be resolved sooner

I had bought digital services/subscriptions in the past and never needed to use the support of stacksocial. This time I bought scopio subscription and had problems with redeeming the subscription. Scopio never even replied to me about the issue (In short, I couldn't login into my account). I asked for a refund from stacksocial ( a credit refund to use my money somewhere else) but they kept sending me emails back and forth to just wait as we are working on this. Up till this day, they didn't say anything about a refund... Disgraceful! So I am left without a refund and without a service... This has been going on for over a month. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN... AND I WILL NOT CONSIDER OTHER BUSINESSES WHO PUT THEIR SERVICES ON THEIR WEBSITE.

False ship dates, lost order and poor support
January 30, 2022

0 stars if I could. Ordered on Dec 18. A key decision in the purchase was estimated delivery date of Dec 21-24, since was a Xmas gift.

Item did not arrive and on Dec 26th I looked up tracking and saw the items had been entered into the carrier's possession on Dec 20th, but no updates since.

This company does not provide a phone # to call for support, there is only website support form. I contacted support and they provided a "canned" response that they had attempted delivery and to check with the shipping carrier without providing any evidence and contrary to the info provided by shipper.

When I responded to clarify, i did not hear back for 2+ bus days. The last response was that the package was caught in customs. And they offered a $10 credit.

Today I called the shipper and they're saying the shipment lost.

This is completely unacceptable to me. I would not have purchased the products if I knew that it was a false and misleading ship date on website and that products were stuck in customs and would not arrive.

I've asked for a refund and/or resending the order but have not heard back.

Now it's NYE, almost 2 weeks after I ordered and 1+ week after the estimated ship date and my family member does not have the christmas gift promised.

I've been a member only since Thanksgiving. During that time I had purchased several items without problem. That is until Christmas day. I purchased a couple anti virus packages that were still on sale. For this purchase my girlfriend wanted me to use her credit card. Everything is bought and paid for. I'm emailed the invoice. Receipt all checks out. About two hours later I'm emailed informing me that my purchases have been canceled. Flagged due to fraudulent activity. I immediately start the first of roughly 100 emails demanding our purchases. I received an email from customer support asking for a photo of the last four numbers of the credit card. Also a photo of a utility bill. And the original receipt. No problem I do everything that's asked and suddenly customer Support claims that nothing is on file. I'm showing the a photo of the receipt so clearly it is on file. Since Christmas day I have sent 6 different emails with the required photos. Only to receive replies from bots, not actual people telling me nothing is on file. I was also locked out of my account that took 36 hours before I could access it. Of course the items that I had bought were not there and I also could no longer buy them at original cost due to the sale having ended. Attempting one last time to get these items for my family's new laptops and cellphones. Upon checking out. My account says sorry my account is under review. So now it's been 4 days. Still haven't heard anything from a live person. Over a hundred emails sent. I've found there phone number. Called it at least ten times only to a recording saying to leave a message and someone will get back to me at their convenience. WHAT ABOUT MY INCONVENIENCE! So now this is the last attempt to get some sort of answer from someone, anyone. All I want is the items that me and my family purchased and then I'll never go through this website again.
