Sold software but did not disclose prominently that it was only a 1 year subscription, and not a perpetual license as per previous sales. Would not refund even when software had not been activated. Watch out.
Note: MacHeist has been bought by StackSocial, so they are now the same company. Shame.
TOTAL SCAM. I bought a pocket translater from them. The junk never worked. I requested a refund 10-11 days after receiving it and the rep Conan replied:
"I'm so sorry to hear your ONE Mini Pocket Multilingual Assistant (Red) isn't working as intended. If possible, could you provide more detail about what is wrong with your item, so I can do my best to look into this further?
Also, if you could share any pictures or video that demonstrate what is wrong with your item, that would be super helpful! Typically, our brand partners require physical evidence, so that they can pursue the correct course of action."
When I provided a video I was then told, to add even more insult to injury, that all sales are final. How is that the correct course of action? Why have me waste my time making a video of a nonworking piece of crap if all sales are supposedly final. Neither the order form, my receipt NOR my email confirmation said anything about all sales are final (attached), and their customer service is a fraud.
I think everyone should use their service and see for themselves. I quite liked them, therefore can recommend for you
Thats now the 6. Products (Polar Backup, ThunderDrive Cloud, degoo, Postable & MassLooking) sold over stacksocial that shows by using to be a realy extremly bad product (but everybody with 4 up to 5 stars as review at stacksocial. That cannot be true. But there is no rate to read. Is that all only fake?).
And the support is the same bad.
I bought:
"200+ Lightroom Presets & Photoshop Add-ons Bundle: Lifetime Access"
At stacksocial there is a wrong URL to Redemption which doesnt work.
I wrote them, but they dont care about.
They didnt send a correct URL.
I guess they dont read the emails from their customer.
A complete scam of a site. I fell for the $100 Amazon gift card deal. It seemed too good to be true, and it was. They promised if you spent $25, you would get a $100 amazon gift card. I had used the site in the past. I spent $39 on this site for this purpose.
Apparently that was only a chance at a $100 gift card, despite having a separate transaction for the gift card that sold out, giving you the impression that this item was the limitation. It's deceptive. They refused a refund and offered only a $5 credit on the site. I will NEVER use them again.
Beware dealing with this company. Its a scam- ordered a "complete" bundle that promises to help e-commerce start up for $39.99. The product was delivered containing numerous links for "influencers" trying to sell what they think is their knowledge on how to do shopify stores. Each tutorial starts at £100.00-£500.00
I tried contacting the company on numerous events-but i was ignored at all instances. Be careful letting your money go to these scammers.
Scam Alert! I bought a $ 31-lifetime access to a design page which was $599 initially ( that's how they advertise). They signed me up for the one that's actually $89 and it's their lowest featured plan. I still gotta pay to use the website
Ordered Lifetime VPN and it did not work. When trying to complete process and why not working found out that this particular product will not work with Windows 10. Tried to use Live Chat for assistance with VPN company and this was not helpful. Tried to Submit a Refund/Credit submission with StackSocial and this was not helpful. I emailed them twice and received an email in return saying I had not responded to their auto email. Be careful of this process/purchase StackSocial. StackSocial will take your money and not communicate well with their Customers!
I, too, ordered a stand mixer and got an air fryer. I have written them countless emails and provided them with pictures and pdf's of many of my emails, but now they're saying that "my defective product cannot be returned" and all sales are final. I don't know if there's a language barrier or this is just a total scam site. Do not order anything from this site!
BUYER BEWARE:
The website automatically purchases items that you do not truly purchase!
After I had purchased an item on this website, it gave me other options of items that I may be interested in purchasing. I clicked on one of the items to add to my cart, but instead of adding it to my cart, it automatically charged my card and purchased the item.
I emailed them and asked for a refund, but they say they will only offer a store credit. I emailed them again to ask for a refund, and haven't received a response yet.
Do not know how these Scammers are still operating still churning out fake reviews look how many so called 5 star reviews dated 10/27/19 with headlines like "cool" "fab" etc.
Best advice don't get duped only purchase from reputable companies sCrapsocial advertising rubbish VPN Keepshield worse than any free VPN also selling other software packages worse than any free software that can be found on any reputable free websites like Softpedia,, Snapfiles Gizmo's freeware,. Majorgeeks, CNET or Filehippo.
They sell at so-called-discounted prices. You get what you pay for! Pictures are very deceiving! Nothing like what you actually receive!
Example.
The earrings and necklace I ordered with Swarovski Stones were dull and setting cheap and flimsy. Asked Customer Service to verify the Stones were authentic. NOT even the courtesy of a response! Also NO refund!
This is fake website. I bought the coupon that didn't work and they were passing time, saying they are fixing issue. Its all bs. They didn't give me my money back. I was replying to all the emails but every time i got the message your ticket is going to close because you are not responding the emails. I requested many times for my money back. Now they don't even reply. It's sooo annoying. I'll never suggest to anyone to buy something from this fake website and will never buy any thing from this fake website
I purchased a lifetime VPN. Before I activated it, I used their free six-day trial period that came with the purchase. I quickly discovered that the VPN didn't do what I had hoped that it would, so immediately contacted customer service to get a refund. They acknowledged that I did not activate the VPN and that I was returning it within 15 days. They then issued me a "store credit."
I responded to them that I did not want a credit, I wanted my credit card to be credited with the purchase price. This email went unanswered. About two weeks later, I send a second email, thanking them for returning my purchase, but that I wanted my credit card credited with the purchase price. I did not want a store credit. This, too, went unanswered. Now, no one will communicate with me. The product stated it was fully refundable if it was not activated and returned within 15 days.
You had better make sure you are getting exactly what you want, because they won't deal with you once the purchase is made.
Very Good Service for ever also very cheap rate. Always very happy to use their vpn service. I personally recommend on their services
I ordered a stand mixer and they sent me an air fryer. Several attempts at getting it taken care of have failed. They are no longer answering my emails. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
The product I received ( black "leather" backpack is so incredibly cheap and does not resemble the picture of it on Joyus website. I feel dumb for falling for their ad, and I am dumbfounded that they are getting away with this. Want to spare others from this rip-off company.
After looking at cool products for years, I decided to purchase my first product (Cubinote) and was not cheap. Now I see it does not work on desk top computers, only on phones. Now this is where the trouble starts. NO HELP from Stack Social. In this day and age when you buy from a on line company, I expect some service to help my with any issues I have. Number one, they charged me for items I did not buy, and two there is NO PHONE SUPPORT. That tells me they do not care after purchase. So since they do not care after purchase, I WILL NOT buy from them again and if you are smart, neither will you in my opinion. (Order #*******)
Bought the 3 TB "lifetime subscription" to Degoo cloud storage through the Cracked.com store (StackSocial). The product did not work as advertised. Actually, the product did not work at all. I was unable to successfully back up any folder from my computer. The upload speed was slower than dial-up and there was ridiculous latency using the desktop app so that it crashes when trying to navigate through any folders. Degoo product support was totally unresponsive for weeks and then kept telling me I was using an old version of the software, which I was not. In fact, they kept sending me the "latest" version, which was the one I was using since the get go. In researching after the fact, many users reporting the exact same issues. The product is garbage and not worth any money. I requested a full refund from StackSocial since they should stand by the products they are selling. They have ignored my multiple requests.
Purchased a VPN but did not receive an activation, serial code license all they sent to my Stacksocial inbox was a promotional code (20% off next purchase)
Complained twice got 2 replies from so called customer service who went by the names Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne said check my inbox, but they had closed my account.
Answer: It took a long time and the intervention of PayPal, but I got a refund--finally--for an item that was never delivered (because it was never sent.) The range of scores for this business makes me wonder why some people get good service and others are ignored--even defrauded.
Answer: They don't want to interact with anyone. You'll get these ridiculous emails from their "Support Heroes" team. They are all cut and paste nonsense, and they deny any responsibility for their vendors. I was only able to get action by working with my credit card company to reverse the charges because of the scam they pulled (item they advertised was not what they actually sold). As a precaution, I also advised my credit card company to automatically deny charges from them. My advice is to NEVER risk buying from them. It's like your mama always told you: "If it sounds too good to be true, it isn't."
Answer: Hi Humberto, We would love to help you on this. Please contact us at https://support.stackcommerce.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Answer: I responded to an ad. Very stupid of me, and i will never do that again!
Answer: They have no customer service, just form letters. No matter how often you email them, you will get no response that makes sense. They have no way of contacting them except emails.
Answer: Clearly playing numbers game. Probably making their own positive reviews. No one stopping them. Internet scammers.
