I went with smartfares because the price for the ticket was the lowest I could find (even the airline website was a bit more expensive). Only downside, I got a call next morning trying to sell me the insurance coverage for additional $40, the person on the phone gave me false information and I ended up buying it, but after reviewing the documents sent to me it turned out that the coverage is not what the person claimed to be and I canceled (they give you 10 days to review and cancel the insurance). Turns out my credit card already provides the same coverage.

I booked two tickets for flights on smartfares the price of each ticket shown on the website was in Canadian dollars was 506 each. I should have been charged 1012 total for the tickets. I also paid extra 48.99 Canadian dollars for payment protection for cancellation within twenty four hours. My credit card was charged 1155 dollars. I immediately wrote them about overcharge. They deliberately replied after 24 hours so that I was not able to cancel the flights. I wrote them repeatedly but no response. They are scammers and price shown on the website is misleading and the customer service is also poor. I would never book with them. I felt cheated by smartfares and won't recommend anyone.
