The order was not fabricated properly and the frame would not align properly. Was told to install anyway as that should fix the issues with the miter cuts not aligning. I installed shared additional photos and was advised that after week that Select Blinds would remake the frame. I asked for a refund rather than having them remade as I placed a new order (not sure why now). With the back and forth with the facility on the issues with the frame, I opted to make a new order rather than delay my home projects any longer. Select Blinds stated, "Thanks for reaching out, we have requested a credit back for the order. Please allow 24-48 hours for us to receive confirmation." However they are now declining to issue a refund.
My second order with Select for cellular blinds. Requested multiple samples to make color choices and got them fast. Order was easy to place and I received them about 4-5 days before the initial estimated arrival date
Quality is good, like the metallic lining on the double cell blackout shades. Because the shades that these are replacing had drawstring which broke, I decided to get the the cordless lift and lock. I like the way they work, the spring is pretty strong and substantial.
Installation was a breeze, once I decided to use drywall screws. I tried to use the hex head screws that came with the shades. While they were very substantial, they required pre-drilling and were still difficult to get into the wood trim. I wound up using two 1 5/8" drywall screws in each bracket instead. While not as "beefy" as the screws that were provided, they are into solid wood and using two per bracket should be more than adequate. This saved me a LOT of time.
Bought one, loved it, got a second and now a third.

I was referred to selectblinds by a close friend and was initially happy with the first set I got, so I ended up buying sets for every room of the house. Unfortunately, not long after installing them, I noticed how poor quality the blinds are. Some don't close perfectly, some have rough edges where you could see they were sloppily cut.
Things got worse every time I had to deal with customer service. Multiple times, the representative didn't even understand how the blinds worked and gave completely incorrect directions.
Between the incompetence of customer support and the poor quality blinds, it's one of the worst companies I've ever worked with.
We have a bedroom door the previous owners installed with a clear glass window. It really needed a blackening blind that was a custom fit. Easy to use website, husband hung the blind in less than 20 mins and we are set.
Blinds came in a timely manner and were what I like.
The shade is about 1 inch less wide than the bracket so for an inside mount, there's a god sized gap. Also the roller does not open/close well at all.

Answer: Semi scam. They do not honor 3 yr warranty. My claim, 6418454 was literally IGNORED with non response.
Answer: They won't accept returns. I ordered shades, which the pictures from their website clear show have a hidden bracket in the same color as the shade. We got bright white brackets that curl around the front of the shade and will be very visible to everyone in the room. They will look like a cheap knockoff.
Answer: I ordered on line from Home Depot. Better quality that Select's private label brand and quick delivery. I received perfect quality shades in 8 days. Select kept delaying and was up to 3 months delivery and counting when I finally was able to cancel.
