Ordering for the bay window was made easy, color choices were great. They arrived earlier then expected, which was nice. We installed them very quickly and they were perfect fit. My dad is wondering why we did not do these years ago. We do not need any other curtains and sheers; it made the window and room look so nice. Will keep this company in mind for future and to share to others
The blinds came a week later, we followed the instruction for inside installation and the job was done perfectly. I needed help of my son-in-law to press the blind to snap, I didn't have the strength.
Received my blinds and it was so easy to install. I am a repeat customer and appreciate the quality and the ease of installation. In fact, a professional installer came to do my three front windows and asked who installed the rest of the house and I said it was me. He smiled and said you could have saved a lot of money doing these windows yourself. I totally agreed and didn't do it because I was a little skeptical that the windows were a little more intricate. Next time I'll do it myself! :)
I needed a patio door blind 76 inch in width, and was at minimum 82 inches long. It's not apparent that some material selections cannot meet these dimensions, and you get stuck in a loop which seems to be a user failure rather than a site limitation. I eventually tried a different material when the 64 other attempts failed and figured it out.
The blinds themselves are great- fit perfectly, the two blinds on one rail style in bamboo material looks exactly right in our midcentury home.
I was skeptical at first buying blinds online for my windows that are all different sizes and no standard sizes. I triple measured everything and bought them online. Every blind for each window was a PERFECT FIT and easy to install by myself before my husband got home. They look great and are sturdy. One minor adjustment that could be made: each "project" (window measurement) online allowed you to name it in order to know what room each was going in. However, when the boxes came with each blind in their own box, there was nothing to distinguish between them like the names of the room it's in as I labeled online. This would not be a problem if you have all the same size windows or extremely different sized windows. On the other hand I had two windows with almost an inch difference in size and had to hold them together to see which was a tiny bit shorter to distinguish which room it goes in. Other than that small matter, the overall experience was amazing!
We liked the material and style. I gave Select Blinds my precise measurements. All blinds were 1/2" to 3/4" too narrow, i. E. not wide as ordered. In addition, two of the blinds were too short by at least 3". I'm disappointed with the product and I am considering filing a complaint. I provided exact measurements only to get a product that doesn't suit our needs 100%. So what? I spent over $2200 and I'm more than irritated. We are fixing up a house so I'm not had time to deal with a huge return like this one, 11 blinds.
The website was easy to navigate and the order process was straightforward. We received exactly what we ordered, and excellent packing ensured everything was undamaged. Installation was ridiculously easy: 10 blinds installed in less than 2 hours. We love the look and the quality. The only downside was the hold-down/tension fitting for the operating chain. It might be a regulatory thing, but the supplied fixtures require two hands for operation and are clumsy to use. I replaced them with simple loop fixtures that work fine and look better than the supplied item.
This is the most expensive blind/shade we've ever splurged on, but the pattern matched the wallpaper we're using so we decided to go for it. It is very well-made; good quality. Don't think the opening/closing mechanism will break after a couple years like other blinds. Easy installation. Very satisfied.
Origionally ordered a set of Blinds with Select Blinds. I went with them to make sure I had the best customer experience. However, sometimes things go wrong. After discussions with support and being contacted by a consumer advocate from Select Blinds, they rebuilt and delivered a new set of blinds that met my needs. Currently installed and working flawlessly. The no hardware mount blackout roller motorized blind that I ordered fit my exact need. Mounting inside the window against painted Brick, Mounted HIGH out of reach these custom sized blinds nailed it.
I was given an email to save $75.00 off my first order, then of course My order is not eligible.
Overall the online selection, ordering samples, clarifying some points with a telephone rep were great experiences. I love my blinds, they are just what I wanted. My only criticism is with the installation directions. They could be clearer regarding where on the top of the window frame to drill for the bracket installation, depending on whether we want them at the back (against the glass) or as forward as possible (along the very front of the frame. I had to do some measuring and estimating and then spackle a couple of mis-drilled spots. Other than some confusion there, all was beautiful!
I had a question about fire retardent on the honeycomb shades. I talked with a rep last week, she assured me she would continue researching the issue and email me. I have not heard anything regarding my question from anyone at SelectBlinds. I'm short of time, so I just placed my order, but I like to make fully informed purchases, so this was disappointing.
Took longer than expected as it ships from Vietnam 3-4 weeks. Get the blinds with cords, it's hard to reach up to pull the blinds, pushing them up also isn't so great especially if you have a couch in front.
Had problems with snapping the shade on the fastener clips. Much more difficult than Blinds. Com. Some of the clips had burrs on the area where you had to fasten into the rail slot. Maybe that's why I had issue. Finally I was able to do it. Also not happy with the quality of the cellular shade. I have purchased shades from other suppliers and their quality seemed better.

Easy to order and fast delivery. Nice quality black out cellular shades. Only complaint: the way the continuous loop cord works, you have to regrip several times to raise/lower the blinds, they only move like 10 inches at a time.
Arrived on time. Look great, but one of the 4 shutter panels will not stay closed. Contacted Select blinds and after a few text messages they promised to get back via Email, but that was several weeks ago and...

I received my order as promised. Everything was the size requested. It took me a couple weeks to install, as it was a large project. The week after I stallation we closed the blinds for the first time. One would not go back up. I did the customer chat and was told to send a video to the text ( a video of the cellular blind not opening?) OK, so I did. I have gotten approximately 5 texts asking for the order number, and requesting patience. The last one was 2 days ago saying they were waiting for a response from production which typically takes 23 to 48 hours. Hmmm. All I want to know is. Is there a way to fix this, or is it a warranty issue?

Was difficult to find a stylish blind that could be hung on a door without drilling. The option I could at Select Blinds was by far the nicest. The customized fit was perfect. The only downside is that it took a while to be delivered. I would order this again.
These shades are very poor quality. They get stuck in the bottom position and I have to struggle to get them to roll back up. The cardboard roll comes completely exposed when I try to get them to roll back up. I do not recommend. I've ordered from select blinds before and loved what I got in the past but these are not good

Great product- many accolades to the company.
2 things would make the experience better:
1. More details about the cassette covers. I needed to know if the cassette had endcaps, and only found the answer by looking at other photos of the products that had nothing to do with the cassettes.
2. The mounting screws supplied need to be a combination slotted and philips head screw, with a deeper slot. The screwdriver kept hopping out of the slot. Also, the pilot hole drill size was too small (adding to the screw driver hopping out of the slot)
DIFFICULT TO FIND FABRIC SPECIFICATIONS AND ACCESSORY DETAILS
Ordered split curtains with tracks, motorization, and a remote. Only received curtains. Customer service cant seem to read OPTIONS: tracking, remote, motorization and realize why we are upset and asking for missing items. All we want or out missing parts or a refund. 2 orders so far and problems with both and I practically uselessly customer service. Use another company cause we are in the future!

This process of measuring and ordering was so easy - I did my homework of making certain I followed the directions, and the blinds came in quickly and went up very easily. Quite impressed with the fast service and excellent quality.
Answer: Semi scam. They do not honor 3 yr warranty. My claim, 6418454 was literally IGNORED with non response.
Answer: They won't accept returns. I ordered shades, which the pictures from their website clear show have a hidden bracket in the same color as the shade. We got bright white brackets that curl around the front of the shade and will be very visible to everyone in the room. They will look like a cheap knockoff.
Answer: I ordered on line from Home Depot. Better quality that Select's private label brand and quick delivery. I received perfect quality shades in 8 days. Select kept delaying and was up to 3 months delivery and counting when I finally was able to cancel.
