The shades arrived in very quickly after ordering. Installation was quite straighforward.
There was a problem with the motorized shade, which was resolved in an efficient way and a replacement was sent. The instructional videos are an area that can be improved. The video feature a much different holding mechanism than the one sent to us. In particular, removing the shade from the window using their instructions was difficult if not impossible. The same instruction was provided by the help desk. However, using a flat head screw driver freed the blinds in a matter of seconds.
Using Select Blinds for my home was easy and quick! The instruction on site were clear and easy to follow, delivery was prompt and the shades look beautiful. Installation was very easy as well. I plan to use Select Blinds for the rest of my window treatment needs!
There is really poor tension on the blinds. They are very long, and that adds to the difficulty. However, you should really place a disclaimer when ordering very long cordless blinds. It takes just too long to get the shade to go up. My old blinds (3 in a row) were open in ten seconds. You have to gently coax the these blinds up, and I would not recommend.
I ordered these blinds with the tension bracket instead of having to drill the blinds in. What a game changer. It took me more time to take the old blinds down than it did to put the new ones up. I would definitely recommend these. It was well worth the extra 50.00 per blind. If I hadn't already replaced all the blinds in my other windows I would have bought more of these.
Ordering was fairly straightforward with all of the online help. I do wish the blinds had come labeled as I had labeled them in the ordering process, but otherwise, I love the quality and style! My family couldn't believe I got all my blinds for the cost! I have 6 windows in my bathroom that needed blinds and got the remote feature for. It sometimes messes up if I'm trying to put just one blind up (which is rare) but as long as I'm using the "all together" feature it works great!
I like the option to select and order direct but the measurements are hard to follow. I messed up and they are 2 inches too short bc the picture showing how to measure was a little confusing. The quality is good though.

I measure the window, put it in the online order window and a week or so later get blinds that perfectly fit my window.Easy to measure, order and install!
I am enjoying my new blinds for the house, I get the non-drill installed ones, definitely worth the little extra in price, simple white and they look great. Easy to measure, order and quick shipping. Enjoyed the experience.
I've bought blinds from this company for many years and always had a quality product. They quick ship there free samples to you. I have never had to return a blind. I would highly recommend this company.
I ordered a replacement blind as the string broke on one of mine. It arrived but the head rail was much larger than all of the other one's. So now I have a blind that makes the room look odd.
I called on Dec 21st and still have no resolution.
They should have a re-string kit.

This has been an ongoing issue that is not getting resolved! I have tried to get someone to help us on the phone but having a hard time understanding their english and their way of helping is sending you tube videos that do not help or is even the problem! We received the wrong directions, the holes were not aligned and had to fix it ourselves to get it to go through and NOW the rope, that is PLASTIC and looks very cheap is not long enough even though our measurements are correct.
Do you not have someone who is experienced that can talk on the phone to help? I am so incredibly disappointed!
I have other shades in my house that I have liked but so disappointed in this one!

We purchased a plantation blind for a large window in our bathroom. The ordering process was easy and the blind fit perfectly. The blind is right over a tub and it allows outside light in when we want it and makes the room look beautiful!
I purchased blinds for my entire living, dining and kitchen windows over a year ago. Then decided to order them for my atrium door. I was concerned with a good match in color. They were perfect everything looks beautiful. I am very pleased with the quality and price.
The ordering process was fine and the blinds arrived as expected and fit my windows. However the quality of the blind was only ok and if I order again I'll order the premium blinds. The blinds I ordered seem very lightweight and are not as stable as they should be.

Initially received a defective blind and was very dissatisfied with the amount of difficulty I had getting customer service to replace a clearly defective product. Once I made a big enough fuss and got to the right people, the issue was resolved and I am pleased with the price and quality of the blind I received. I have purchased from Select Blinds in the past, and will again in the future.
I was diligent to measure per the instructions on the website. I measured at least 3 times for each window even though they were (supposedly) the same size. Through measuring to the 1/8 of an inch they were not the same dimensions. I believe this would have affected the fit of my shades and blinds. Thank you Select Blinds for good instructions in measuring and installation. I would purchase again.
The directions were great. We were able to hang them easily. I'm happy.
I gave an other one I I purchased a few years ago. We can't figure out how-to get it off the move the brackets out. Can you help?
I was told a new order would be set up a week ago to exchange out of original order. Nothing has been done except satisfaction surveys. I can't in my right mind recommend this company...took my money, told me different order would be set up, nothing has been done in last 10 days...very disappointed
I first talked to customer service about what type of blind would be best for what I needed. They were very knowledgeable and courteous. I then measured and ordered. My blinds were delivered and I am very impressed with the quality. This was my second time ordering custom blinds from them and I will use them again for their professional quality and service.
I spoke to AJ before placing my order and am so impressed with her recommendations and knowledge of the product. She was extremely friendly and helpful.
We ordered drapes to cover a large collapsible glass door and two small panels of the same material for show on another set of windows. While the price seemed a little high, we love how they tuned out
Answer: Semi scam. They do not honor 3 yr warranty. My claim, 6418454 was literally IGNORED with non response.
Answer: They won't accept returns. I ordered shades, which the pictures from their website clear show have a hidden bracket in the same color as the shade. We got bright white brackets that curl around the front of the shade and will be very visible to everyone in the room. They will look like a cheap knockoff.
Answer: I ordered on line from Home Depot. Better quality that Select's private label brand and quick delivery. I received perfect quality shades in 8 days. Select kept delaying and was up to 3 months delivery and counting when I finally was able to cancel.
