This is a scam site do not buy dresses in this site because you pay for a imitation dress and is not a auhtentic dress i was buy 2 dresses in this site and said is for tony bowls and night moves and when i try to told them is a fake dress they told me is not a fake dress and i need to give more information like my email and they can verify that i was buy in the online site, i give the information and they said sorry this information is not in our sistem, so if you want a very good quality and authentic dress you do not buy in promgirl.com the dresses are not good in sizes and the quality is poor, is better to pay more that pay later for a repair or a seamstress

I will not order from PromGirl.com in the future. I ordered three dresses at the beginning of February. The dresses did not arrive. A week prior to my daughter's event, I called and learned the package was lost and last traced in New Jersey. The only solution was to re-order the dresses at my cost. So I paid for two sets of dresses: $408. Over a month later, I have yet to be reimbursed for the first order that was lost. PromGirl.com also stated that they needed to make sure that I did not steal the dresses -- how rude! They believe that I, their paying customer, should wait until their claim with UPS is resolved before they reimburse for products ordered and not received. I am highly dissatisfied with PromGirl.com and I do not recommend their business. My rating is actually no stars.

After reading a lot of negative reviews, I was very hesitant to order my prom dress from here. However, everything went absolutely perfect and I didn't run into one problem. This website has a great "prom under $200" section and I found the most beautiful dress for only $120! I ordered it, and it came within two days! The dress looks exactly as pictured and the material is very well made! The only thing I would say about this is that you should order a dress a size bigger than you actually are because they tend to run small.

GREAT GREAT GREAT! I ordered a dress for my Junior prom from this website. It was originally $150 but I got it on sale for $75. It was non-returnable and after reading other reviews I was very hesitant about spending $75 on a dress. I made the purchase anyway and the dress came in 5 days! I ordered a size 3 because it was the only one they had even though i'm usually a 0-2, the dress fits PERFECT (which means they probably run small) and looks PERFECT and I could not be happier!

I ordered a dress for my daughters semi. It arrived in a time, but looked very different than it did on line. I sent an email to start the return process and received a phone call shortly after. I explained to them why I wanted to return it. On line the top of the dress appeared lighter in color. It really was an ugly brassy color. It was very poorly made. There were large areas where it seemed to be missing sequence. They told me they would look it over and if they determined that there was nothing wrong with it and it looked the same as it did on line they would send me a full refund. Needless to say they charged me a 10% restocking fee and charged me $8.00 for using the return shipping label they sent me. I have never heard of such poor customer service policies in my life. I would never purchase anything from them again! From now on I will only deal with brick and mortar stores or Amazon, at least I know they stand behind there product.

Please do yourself a favor and do NOT order from this website. I ordered a prom dress from this site in the beginning of January. It was a size 4 and a blue color. Not until about 20 days later did they call to say it was out of stock. They told us there was a black one in a size 4 of the same dress and we told them that we would buy it. 5 days later they called to say that this dress was out of stock and our options were a size 6 in black. I am not a size 6! They told me that the money should be put back onto my credit in less than a day or two. It has been 4 days and they have not refunded my money. I will never buy a dress from this site again.

Don't believe the bad reviews! I ordered a non-refunded dress for my prom and was not disappointed! After reading all the bad reviews I was very hesitant in buying as this particular dress would not be able to be sent back. The dress was exactly what I ordered, color, size, and all. Those who complain about the quality may not realize prom dresses are made differently then you'd find any dress in a department store. They are more delicate in general and should be handled with care. This does not mean in any way they're lacking in material or quality because all "brand name" dresses I've tried on and seen are made this same way. I found it most helpful to try on dresses at a nearby dress shop in order to get a feel for what size I was. Because unlike most stores, prom dresses are not "vanity sized" and run much different then other dresses you'd find in a store at your local mall. Don't hesitate to buy from this website. The prices are the same if not better than what you'd find at other stores selling the same dresses. I'd just warn that you really look into a dress before buying because the pictures online will make colors look slightly darker or brighter, but not drastically one way or the other. If you know what you're getting into when you order, there should be no troubles whatsoever.

My dress got there, after three weeks.(Norway) It was beautiful but the quality was bad. But the biggest problem was that they made my dress cost 80$ more than the actual price(!), because they ordered a private shipping car to my town. And my dad e-mailed them and in the start they would not admit they did anything wrong. Later they admited it after some couple of e-mails.
I do not recommend this page at all. Well at least I'm not gonna buy from Promgirl again!

I am a pageant title holder as well as my daughter. We order from this site all the time, everything comes on time and I am always pleased and receive great complements. At least they are USA located. One thing I learned bout on line dresses order two sizes up, they always run small easier to take in cant let out. Even if I order my size it's been perfect from this site... I love all mt dresses so oes my daughter....as a pageant girl, and a director I can tell you do your research, get great measurements measure your self at least four times have four different people do it and see which two come closest in measurement....don't measure with clothes on, do put your high heels on if a long dress....you can always ask me for more tips happy to share.....

I bought a dress from Promgirl for my wedding. I measured myself and purchased the dress with the same measurements. It was waaaaaayyyy too big. I figured it wouldn't be perfect, and planned to have it tailored but the material was so cheap that I was too embarrassed to take it to a tailor. I returned it to promgirl stating that the measurements were incorrect. I received only a partial refund to cover a "restocking fee." Apparently it is my fault they don't know how to measure a dress. I will never buy from them again and strongly discourage anyone from making the same mistake as I did. I ended up getting a beautiful dress that fits perfectly for half the price at Macy's.

I was extremely worried about ordering from this site because of all the negative reviews. After I youtubed reviews for promgirl.com I finally decided to go ahead with it. I received my dress two days after the order was placed. My dress is absolutely perfect, exactly as the picture shows it. I am extremely pleased with this site and I would recommend them. Also, I feel that the size charts are very accurate! However, if you do decide to order just know that you only have 5 days to return the dress and you will be charged a 10% restocking fee. Although I didn't have to do that, I think it's something consumers should consider before purchasing!

So I have wedding coming up and I couldn't find dresses for my bridesmaids; and I came across this website and found the perfect dresses and I called and I got the best customer service! All my questions were answered the lady was really nice to me. I placed the order for 4 dresses I had no problem doing that, everything was so easy and simple. Six days later i received them. They are in perfect condition, the color of the dresses was exactly what I ordered, the sizes were again exactly what I ordered and got the dresses just in time. I am satisfied with my purchase and I wouldn't hesitate to order again :) Thank you Promgirl.com

I ordered my prom dress from this site and had zero problems receiving it on time and the quality was good. I ordered a second dress for my sorority formal the following spring and the quality was pretty poor, but then again I only paid $40 for it so I guess you get what you pay for. I have yet to have a negative experience here, but it appears there are some out there. Bottom line, be cautious but don't be afraid to order a dress from here.

I saw the my dress on promgirl and loved it so much. I was aware of the non return policy, which was fine by me seeing as I could have it tailored to fit. I payed for 3-7 day shipping. The product was shipped the next business day after I ordered it, and I received it after three days. It was the same dress, size and color that I had ordered, however I was very disappointed, as my dress was not at all like the picture. The stitching was very bad and falling apart. The fabric was cheap and ripping at the ends. The elegant patterns on the bottom of the dress were hidden by layers and layers of puffy material, and the elegant patterns on the top of the dress didn't match the picture. The dress did not fit, which was expected due to my exceptionally small bust. It looks like I bought it for five dollars at a costume store, and now my homecoming is ruined! I will have everything possible changed about this dress. I am very disappointed.
