So I had booked a trip overseas and at first my birth date was wrong they fixed that (I assume) and now that we are all in a world pandemic and highly advised do not go overseas ok so I asked about a refund and this is not my fault or there fault but a world pandemic and should get a refund. Nope never got a refund but I got my other flight refund/credit. This company needs to be shut down and if this is the only way I can get a cheaper flight to go overseas I will stay home or I will go with ORBITZ. The review stars should be a NEGATIVE FIVE STARS

My flights were cancelled a month ago by air India because of the lockdown situation we are facing and these guys closed all communication lines and ceased operations without contacting their costumers or notify their flights had been cancelled. I only found out I had no flights after I logged in to my booking on the Air India website. No refunds in sight either!
I eventually found them under one of their many alias company names on Resolver.com and opened a dispute to which they never responded. Resolver can not locate this company! Steer clear and avoid them at all costs! I hope the authorities can arrest these people for fraudulent activity.
Avoid this company. We had booked a flight to Canada. Contacted several times the company via email and phone to postpone the trip. According to the reservation policy this was possible. Also the airline confirmed that the trip can be postponed by email. No adequate response till one week before the trip. Received an email saying if you agree that we will receive 50$ administration cost, we will postponed it otherwise you should pay the full charge! So basically they forced us to pay for their horrible service. Won't recommend this company.
This is by far the worst customer service i've ever recieved. I tried to be understanding regarding the whole situation but when it's been nearly 3 weeks and my flight is closing it, I am not even able to do anything, even now as I try and go to the seperate sites of the flights, my booking couldn't be found and yet I have not gotten any return of my money nor a reply from the customer service regarding this manner.
If you ever plan on traveling, I would strongly recommend you to stay as far away from mytrip as possible.
We booked several flights with mytrip, however from the very first beginning everything was a nightmare. Tickets were not properly issues, but no one at mytrip was available over the phone. We tried our luck with emails, however even after 2.5 weeks no reply. In the meantime the flights had been cancelled but no information from mytrip had been given to us. I am afraid that we lost all our money with the company and we will never get any refund nor even a proper reply from them. I my humble opinion their way of acting with customers seems not to be far away from... well, some people may would name it criminal.
I was on the line for over 3 HOURS waiting to talk to someone, as they state on their website this is the only way to rebook, even if they repeat over and over that they have an unprecedented amount of phone calls and are not able to handle them. It's ridiculous. Please note my flight was already canceled and I needed to find out how to rebook or get a refund.
The airline website stated that I needed to handle my case through the agency, but I still went ahead and called them (Alaska Airlines) just in case, and I was able to sort everything out in 10 mins. Worst customer experience ever.
I booked a ticket with my trip to try on the 6th of April I booked it before Airlines started cancelling and for the past week I have been looking to see see if my plane is flight from Heathrow. I could not see it so I phoned Lufthansa and they told me it's been cancelled and I have to phone mytrip because they booked it for me. Today I have spent 3 hours 40 minutes on the phone trying to get through to them eventually I got through I asked a few questions and got put on hold again. Now mytrip has told me I cannot get a refund because of the cancellation I have to ring Lufthansa and ask for permission.
Which means I will have to wait in a queue for the Lufthansa to get permission and if they give permission I will have to wait in a queue to speak to my trip again. As far as I am aware if you employ a travel agent to do your flights for you is anything goes wrong as an agent they should be able to sort it out. So I have just lost the money I saved for my aeroplane tickets
Hello everyone! It is clear that mytrip is taking advantage of us and not protecting its customers in such a delicate moment. My airline canceled all my flights booked with mytrip.com and told me that it won't make me a refund or voucher without mytrip's request.
Mytrip does not respond and I already understand that it will probably never answer me. I'm here to talk and try to create a union of all of us consumers who have suffered this damage. In a moment of global pandemic there are those who think only of getting rich without protecting customers.

It's easy to book and all, problems begin when you want to make changes to your itinerary. There is no option to do it online, they advise you to call them and one of the numbers available is working the other one appears to be invalid. Once you're in the queue they make you wait for hours with a recorded message saying '' you can contact us by email''. Where's the email? I would but there's no email address to be found now is there? You really have to be persistent and lose a few hours to get through to them.
Since the experience I've described above, it's been getting worse. I was informed by the airline that my flights were cancelled and that I was entitled to a refund however I would have to contact the agency as everything was paid through them. Fair enough. Found the patience to call and wait for hours and hours to speak to a representative. The answer has been the same for the past few days - we can't refund you due to airline policy. I call the airline and they tell me that I AM eligible for a refund and the agency just has to formalize the request and make the refund. The agency's representative keeps on saying they have no permission from the airline and therefore no refund will be issued. This is outrageous and will be reported through the appropriate channels. I've also been forced to speak to my bank and claim a chargeback on the grounds they're fraudulent and I've shared all useful correspondence to make that happen.
I would advise booking directly with the airline as the price difference is not worth the hassle.
Tried to call them and email them for last 15days. No reply over email yet. After 5hrs wait the customer service asked me to get email from the airline and the airline said they never give email to customers on refund or reschedule and the mytrip should contact them. Still waiting for a resolution.

What a joke. My flight was changed 3 times and then cancelled altogether. Mytrip were absolutely useless. There was no way to contact them - sat on the telephone helpline for 90 minutes and never managed to speak with anyone. They tell you to call them urgently and then do not answer the phone. They do not respond to emails either. I wish I had read the reviews before booking with them. Absolutely awful service - do not use them unless you want to kiss your money goodbye

The first thing mytrip have done when there was chaos at the airports is to be unavailable. The phone number in Norway does not work, their phone number in Hellas also does not work, well done. You are not a seriose travel agency. You should be ashamed, it smells MAFIA out of your behavior. I do not recommend you, neither anyone else in your industry. When something happens you become inaccessible and you do not take responsibility, after all the ADD ON we pay for, you suddenly become a mediator and have no responsibility for what has happened. My advice to all of you is book directly from airline or hotel. I have been looking for a link in mytrip's website for 40mn to send a complaint and to get my money back without success. You will not be allowed to run mytrip in this way if you were operate it from Norway. I hope the authorities in Europe somewhere will react, Especially when the customer does not find a form to complaint to get money back.
Booked flights through mytrip.com to Thailand. With the Covid19/Corona Thai Airlines changed me the flights for days that I cannot travel. I have been on the phone line with mytrip.com to rearrange flights for the last 5 hours and they did not picked up the call!

They are scammers, stole my money. Flight got cancelled due to covid-19 and now their phone lines have been disconnected and they won't reply to emails. I made other reservations with companies such as kiwi.com which have already proceeded to re-credit the amount paid. I don't understand why nobody was able to write to me, I do not understand why you say that Lufthansa will refund the money when Lufthansa told me that I bought the plane ticket to you = MY TRIP and not to them.
Lufthansa told me that my flights from Madrid to Verona has been CANCELED. I tried to call you at all hours as much to a Greek number as English without result, so I would like someone to deign to write to me and tell me that the money has been refunded.
We all have problems at the moment but this DOES NOT JUSTIFY you not to answer or not to give the money back when the flights have been CANCELED.

Trying to get a refund or just a credit to use in the future has proven to be very difficult with this company. Got a hold of the actual airline who is willing to help me until they realize this company doesn't use US currency and cannot convert pounds into US airline tells me to get a hold of my trip.com which I did they are saying there's nothing they could do for me because the airline has not physically canceled their flight. During this crises and most world leaders asking the public to not travel unless necessary I believe the response of my trip.com should be of course we will either refund your money I'll give you a credit towards another trip instead of completely taking advantage of the situation and stealing my hard earned money but I cannot afford to lose. Please do not be fooled by this company they are completely Fraudulent and are not willing to help their customers there's no phone number to call them and emailing them is a joke you just get a generic email back saying you're working on your case which of course they are not I am going to fight this until I get my money back or a credit towards another flight in the future after this craziness is done.If there was an option to give them zero stars I would
