$#*!ING USELESS!

I know it says 1 start, but honestly, they deserve negative! Spent over 40 hours on hold, with screenshots to prove for them to hang up on me or not do anything. They apparently cannot transfer to supervisors, but they stated they will talk to supervisors. That does not happen either. They won't provide anything in writing! They won't answer emails. I called and they told me to stop calling because they are limited staff, but yet they keep hanging up on me! They tell me I have to go through the airlines, but I paid them. The airlines said what this company has to do, and they wouldn't even do it! All they had to do was call and get a refund number. That is it, which they could have done on the phone. One call center says oh this team will handle, then when I speak to said team, they say it is another team who handles who I cannot speak to. WORST EVER!

Absolutely useless!

These guys tried to charge me first the price difference when I tried to change a date, now my airline said they don't do that under the Covid-19 policy, they kept saying anyway that I have to do it- pay the difference which would be around 1000$ more! Then when I finally got them to contact the airline they admitted that I don't have to pay the difference of price but I need to pay the tax difference still close to $1000 when I asked them to send me the evidence on paper of that they disconnected! In the end I called my airline directly and they rebooked the whole flight for me without charging a $ extra for it. MYTRIP you absolutely SUCK! I hope that you will read this. I would recommend to stay away from them

I purchased a return flight to Vancouver through mytrip.com on the 8th March 2020. For a flight out from the UK on the 18th May returning on the 24th May. By the 15th May I had not heard anything from Mytrip regarding the flight, so i had to call them to check if the flight was still going ahead.

After calling them and being on hold for 45 minutes. I was told that that the flights were cancelled. I was also told that I would have to rebook the flights for a date prior to the 1st January 2021 and the booking had to be carried out before the flights were meant to take place (18th May) and i would have to pay any difference.

In addition to this, they would not privide me with any proof that the flights were in fact cancelled (email, etc)

I can imagine that a lot if people are in this situation and it is not fair! My Trip is not delivering on their goods and therefore customers are entitled to a refund.

Do not shop through My Trip or their parent company GOTOGATE! They will let you down and steal your money in times of need

Avoid this agency like a plague - you would NOT get any support in case you need anything other than turning up at the airport on the day.
Where do I start? I had a confirmed flight ticket booked for 6 June 2020 from Kolkata to London and the airline cancelled the flight. However, My Trip (or the airline) never notified me of the cancellation (and options available to me). When contacted 3 days before the flight, they gave me only one option to reschedule the flight but that would cost me the fare difference (guaranteed as airlines would increase prices after COVID-19 travel restrictions are relaxed). Additionally, My Trip would charge almost 4000 INR for "handling fees". When asked for a cancellation, they made me go around like a ping-pong ball from various departments of theirs (no email addresses or phone numbers are available in any of their multiple dodgy websites) and the airline. Finally, they agreed to cancel but not willing/able to tell me the amount that would be refunded. So both the options provided to the customers are unknown in terms of cost - a business like this should be brought to court in any civilised part of the world.
Please avoid!

Terrible

Do note use. My flight was cancelled on 26th Feb and MyTrip still has not advised about my refund. Airline has confirmed they issued refund to the agent. So agent is sitting on the money and not refunding the customer. Terrible!

Horrible service

I bought my ticket last year october traveling this year in april 2020. Due to corona crisis they canceled my plane due to lockdown. They iissued me a voucher with Turkish airlines that is valid til end feb 2021 few weeks later they send me email to tel me the ticket is valid til 25 October 2020, they changed again. If u call them u can wait on the phone for more than 6 hours and find nobody. And if you email them u can wait for a month plus to get a response. Its horrible this company should be closed immediately. I cant fly this october i want my money back. The airlines told me you entitled to your money back but you need to get via MyTrip not Turkish Airlines. Since march this year til now they not reachable. HORRIBLE!

Worst Agency & Customer Services I have ever encountered online. Have sent numerous emails requesting either refund, voucher or change of flight as my flight was cancelled due to COVID-19. They closed my case as they said I did not respond with the 60day period. Yet I have responded more than a dozen time since the first email and all within 30 days. Even called them and was left on hold for over an hour & a quarter, ended up hanging up. No Refund, voucher or change of flight received to date so basically lost my money. Will never ever use them again.

Due to Coronavirus, our flights to Europe from the USA was banned and the countries we would travel to (Italy) was also locked down. We contacted MyTrip to get our refund. They gave us hard time and never wanted to give us refund. It was a nightmare experience for us! We will never ever use this scam company again.

Just Awful

Due to the c virus our flight with Alaska Airways was cancelled. Mytrip.com said the company were not giving refunds so contact the airline to rearrange flights. We did this for Alaska Airways to give us the full refunded which was refunded to mytrip.com as we booked through them. When i contacted them again to state i had an email from Alaska Airways saying they had refunded us, we got the same answer, the airlines are not refunding. So basically mytrip.com are keeping our money. Not a happy customer.

Mytrip is a scam. They don't want to refund my flight which was cancelled more than 8 weeks ago. It's not that the refund is taking long - they actually haven't even once responded to my 15+ e-mails from the last 8 weeks. They don't respond to phone calls either. Stay away and don't support this shady business!

I would like to formally put a complaint to this company where I have booked two fly tickets with them. Both of the, Ryanair and another one with air Baltic have been cancelled by the airlines due to the Covid-19.

After calling and sending a few emails to Mytrip (responsible for my bookings) I called them again to get an update of when I was going to receive my refund and money back. They assist me to get a refund and even knowing that this cancelation was not my choice they would like to charge me £30 for an assistance fee, to do their job and reach their responsibilities. This is not about the £30 fee but also about the human rights that they are breached.

This fee for my is unacceptable and they should be taking responsibilities on this matter. They think we don't have any rights or voice to express our disappointment (which in some cases is a sad true) but this is my opinion of this company, and I know many of the future and current customers will appreciate a honest customer review.

I strictly NOT recommend this company and I hope this complain can be escalated to a senior employee. We know this situation is new for everyone but you are playing with the economy of workers, who are struggling economically and have no other support than having our money back which is the minimum we could get after having our fly cancelled.

They totatlly disappear with money of thousands travellers, the are inquired for fraudolent business in many countries. Bank accept the chargeback because of fraudolent operation of the company. Stay away from them

You can purchase a ticket, but afterwards you are not able to reach them any more. Phone numbers do not work. Reply to any email is only an automatic reply asking you to go to website and manage your questions there - but you are not able to manage because the lack of necessary cathegorie to select.
I wanted refund because of fight cancellation. Automatic reply: turn to the airline. Airline answer: refund can be managed by your agent and not by the airline...

I booked a ticket to Jordan and the flight was cancelled due to COVID-19. The phone was disconnected. The website couldn't recognised my order number. The links didn't work. I got an email recently stating to call them for a re-booking. Once I called, they told me that I missed my flight and the flight couldn't be rebooked. How on earth would I missed a flight that was cancelled? They also told me I would have to pay more than half of the price for a refund as I missed my flight... Absolutely scammers.

I should have known it was too good to be true to be getting such inexpensive airfare, but they seemed legit, so... booked with them. What a god-awful mistake that was! We booked the flight back in January, before the virus situation had really taken hold. We paid our $3800 to MyTrip.com and they booked a flight for us using Air Italy. Unfortunately, 2 weeks later Air Italy went bankrupt. Out of luck, right? So sad for us. But not really, read on...

Air Italy's website says they are issuing refunds to customers. "Work through your travel agent and they will give you a refund." So, I call MyTrip and after sitting on hold for hours, being kicked off, calling back, rude customer service - I am told "Nope, you have to call Air Italy because they haven't issued us a Waiver code." So, back on the phone with Air Italy who says "nope, your travel agent has to work with us, get the code, then issue you a refund.

Back to MyTrip, who tells me the airline is wrong. They have to write "please issue refund" in the reservation and they'll give us the money back. I've been back and forth so many times and I even offered to do a conference call, where all 3 of us can talk. Of course, MyTrip person did not go for that.

I'm so frustrated and I'm betting I'll never see a penny of that money back! So, I have vowed that I will report this company to BBB in USA and will write a review in every outlet I can find. And I'll do this day after day, week after week.

Again - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I wish I would have read all the bad reviews, but unfortunately I did not.

Good luck and did I mention that YOU SHOULD NOT USE MYTRIP.COM - EVER!

Worst service ever

5 hours on the phone today and multiple hours the previous days to manage to get a refund for my cancelled flight due to covid-19. They have been transferring my call back and forth between company's agents, one had their system stuck, the other one could not hear me (!) the other one was not the suitable one to proceed with a refund process (they themselves transferred my call to the not suitable one). Need I say more?...

Never use mytrip.com. Firstly, I booked a flight from SIN-BKK through mytrip.com. After the virus started, Thai Airways changed my flight timing and i called mytrip.com for a refund as the time does not suite me. They claimed that the airline has a "policy" which states that there's a minimum hour of change from the original flight before I am eligible for a full refund. I went to the Thai Airways office in Singapore and found out that there were no such policy. However, they can't do anything because I have to go through the agency.

Now that Thai Airways have officially cancelled my flight, I tried calling mytrip.com but their hotline leaves u on hold forever. Then, a few days ago, they sent a email stating that we can either cancel or reschedule, stating that cancellation does not necessarily provide a full refund, so i chose to reschedule. Only to find out that rescheduling requires an additional cost of $98 on top of my original ticket price?

Furthermore, they do not have a direct email to contact. All their customer service is through an external outsourced customer support. The only way to contact them is to call them, which brings u to an outsourced unfriendly customer support. Otherwise, u can use the 'contact form' in which they will take forever to get u a reply that does not answer your querry.

I would like to rate Mytrip-1.
After my flights was cancelled due to Covid 19. I tried several times to call My trip after about 4 hours and calls to Air Mauritius which they confirmed that there is not a thing as a no show.
MYTrip insist on that I was a no show, After I asked the gentleman how can I be a no show if airlines all over the world cancelled flights due to lockdowns etc.he then proceeded to put the telephone down. Very very poor customer service. After 4 hours my issue still was not reaolved.

Been calling them everyday but they never answer! Worst experience ever! My flight was yesterday going to Belgium and i cannot get in touch to them and just said they considered me as NO SHOW? Whatta $#*!! Flights were cancelled due to COVID and since ive been calling before my flights but they wont answer and now they will say NO SHOW? This is crazy! Poor service! Give out money back asholes
