What a positive, helpful and caring young lady that you have working in the bakery department. Her name is Trudy, she is a cake decorator, who turns out wonderful and quality product. She should be recognized for her commitment to her customers and professionalism.
Three cheers for this associate. This is at the Meijer store, 23.
Aim Tooth Paste out of stock for three weeks in a row! Had to make an extra trip to Kroger. At least Kroger had it. This happened at the Meijer Store ******* Maysville Road, Fort Wayne, IN *******. Store Number #138. A shame this store dosen't seem to stock anything during the weekend. And it's so aggravating when they are out of something!
I took a chance at ordering groceries online from my local Meijer. I found out that was one giant mistake. The delivery person was over 90 minutes late. They use a delivery service called "Shipt". The delivery person lied about working on my order. Customer service is non existent! It caused me a great big headache and I lost many hours, that I will never get back. They didn't even let me know which items were unavailable. There are other stores that are more dependable, such as Whole foods that has great customer service. I will definitely take my business elsewhere!
During the Covid-19 quarantine, we received no coupons. Yet, we have been regular customers. Last month, as the quarantine was lifting, we finally received coupons from Meijer. However, many of those items were completely out of stock. Why did you issue coupons for items you didn't have? What a waste of time and gas! If we were willing to shop half-empty shelves, we could save time and gas by shopping at Walmart. I'm serious. The customer behind us at the check out had an even worse experience. We ran into him at Sam's Club a little later. He was trying to buy hamburg at the same time we were. There was no sign limiting purchase quantities. He may have had four or five packs. Many seniors, like us, only receive money once a month. The cashier only allowed him two. I believe he ditched the entire order, and I don't blame him. I almost did as well. Abuse your customers, and we will take our purchases elsewhere. See you at Sam's Club.
Goldfish with fungus and ammonia burns, tanks filled with algae, I got a few female guppies and one has a shredded tail because the store was dumb enough to put them with a larger amount of males.
Will never support this business again. Either properly care for an animal or don't sell it. You disgust me
I placed an order online for a child's bike and helmet on 6/3 and chose to pick it up on 6/4 between 1-2 p.m. I arrive at the store at 12:50 p.m. only to receive a text that they had to change my pickup time to 2 p.m. Since I had an appointment elsewhere at that time, I chose to come back on 6/5 between 2-3 p.m. only to be told that the bike had been sold, but they still had the helmet. WTH! This was a total waste of my time and I will never choose Meijers for anything in the future.
We placed an online order for curbside pickup at the Washington Twp, MI store. We were given a time of 11:00-12:00. Based on all our other curbside experiences, we assumed this was a window of time. We arrived in a curbside spot and attempted to call the customer service number but couldn't get through. Then received a txt from shopper apologizing they were changing our time. I attempted to reply as we could not accept that time and were not waiting an hour. After half an hour, the guy next to us never received his order and we never saw one order brought out. We can't reach Meijer or the shopper. Not sure who has our credit card info but we left without order, drove another 20 minutes home and will never use this service again.
When you walk in, the feeling of who cares comes on you. Arizona Honey green tea is never in, been out over two weeks. The potatoes you microwave in the bag is never in. Do they even care? Doesn't look like they care anymore. I noticed shoppers are way down. We will have to start going to Kroger to get what we want. Pharmacy takes forever to fill prescription.
Just saw the online experience after listening to my wife complain. Here's the low points:
1 - No favorites or purchase history, so every shopping visit starts from scratch. Typical shoppers buy the same items. This app needs a "reorder" function.
2 - Pickup times- are shown at the end of the process. If no convenient time is available then the entire shipping effort is wasted. Put pickup time upfront.
3 - Quantity selector - appears to be a server side function with slow refresh and incremental arrows. A painfully slow experience, especially when clicking 10 times for a 10 for 10 special. Make the Qty function a drop down or browser based function for user speed.
4 - Links in Ads - the Ads are images without links to the item. The user must review the Ad and then search for the item. Add links to the Ad to navigate directly to the item.
5 Item Display - seems to be limited to a large icon, grid format. Provide an option using a list, with checkboxes, based on favoritesor purchase history.
6 - Credit Card - seems to only store one card that can't be edited or deleted. Need multiple cards or option to update card (eg expiration).
7 Related Items - add a link to each favorite or purchase item history to show alternate / related items or suggestions.
Favorite Edit - allow users to edit their purchase history / favorites to create groups or shopping lists to speed selection on reordered items.
We were really surprised at how poor the app functions. Pickup is great. Ordering stinks.
The recent changes make online shopping a horrible experience. Lost everything in my cart with no warning, many sale items do not reflect the sale price, get a 'forbidden' page when you click an item for more detail, mperks coupons cannot be added, the whole navigation function is painful to use because one must search numerous times for items to display, past order history has been erased, etc, etc, etc, the whole layout, just everything went to hell.
I've only shopped at the Indianapolis and Traverse City MI stores, but my experience has always been very positive. Very well stocked blend of groceries and non-groc items, courteous staff and very good pricing. I'd say the level of pricing is comparable to Walmart, but the employees here care much more and are willing to help vs avoid customers like you always see at Walmart.
I used to shop at the first Meijer in Greenville, I still like the entire Meijer shopping experience. I DO NOT like Meijer corporate; I may sound old, but the experience I'm enduring with corporate has blocked Meijer as a supplier for me. I've been "working" with their Human Resources for approximately a year with promises from them, but no results. I doubt I can give details in this forum, you can contact me at *******@JUNO.com. I made a separate email address entitled "ENDURING MEIJER" A year later and I continue to get their apparently "stock" response of "another week" The story is like one you may hear, and you say to yourself, that can't happen. Believe me, it does happen.
We shop at wal-mart a lot because it's closest to our home, however, there are times that I just want to go to Meijer because it's sooo much better. Prices are always good and there are always deals to be had. Lots of bogo items. I love thier home decor section. I have found so many cute decorative items that wal-mart just doesn't have. The selections of items is wonderful and so many more choices. They have great clothes too and often sale racks. We had to buy for a baby shower and found a bunch of baby clothes on sale for 1.00! I just wish we had one closer to us so I could go all the time.
The deli station at the Rochester Hills Meijer.
On a busy Saturday afternoon they only had two workers.
With eight people in line the ladies working behind the counter took the grand old time.
I waited 20 minutes maybe 15 minutes for ham and salami to be sliced.
Management should go check out the Kroger's in Rochester Hills to see how their deli station works.
Meijer is a great store. Always love shopping here. Pharmacy is great too, and last time I used it, free antibiotics.
I have had a few experiences with them while traveling. I had good customer service and will shop them again when I am in their area.
U was at meijer, dublin oh sawmill I am angry what I witnessed tonight. There was a lost confused elderly couple my husband and I watched the cashier Trenet a nice friendly lady assist these people out the door andvshe was scrutinized by her employers the man was lost couldnt walk the other cashiers did not assist her she helped and went beyond call of duty and they fired her... I will never shop thete again
I have bought many things from www.meijer.com.
I like it because you can really buy everything cheaper than anywhere else.
They ship many things for free to our home or to our convenient store.
Meijer.com has a button in home page that says to sign up for a meijer.com account and get 1/2 off standard shipping. So you go through all the steps and then get the email with promo code, only to find out that you need to spend $75 or more. So I called them and the sales rep. Told me to go through with order, call back with order # and they will submit as a customer claim. Called back, and they refused to help. All I want is for them to not mislead people, and second sales rep. Refused to see problem with not saying upfront that there is a minimum purchase amount and that she could not help me because I did not have the name of first sales rep.
Answer: Even though Meijer was more expensive, I started shopping there because my regular grocery store did not keep their shelves stocked. As long as I have to visit another store, I am simply going to start out at that other store. This has been the case lately, so you have lost a customer. Make that two customers, because the man behind us was upset too. We ran into him later at another grocery store. Goodbye.
Answer: The Meijer at 3700 Harvey in Muskegon, Michigan is the same way. They sent us coupons for a few out-of-stock items.
