I sold my vehicle lastyear because I knew I couldn't afford to even drive it anywhere. I get my groceries delivered through the Meijer app with Shipt and it's been a blessing for me. I stopped using my Meijer credit card because Citibank is in financial trouble and they never update my account after I pay my bill online.
I use my Capital One credit card and I have never ever had issues with Capital one. I feel bad because sometimes I cannot afford to tip my Shipt driver because I'm on a fixed monthly budget with 3 large dogs to feed. I'm barely hanging on now financially. I'm grateful for Meijer for providing this service and they even deliver my medications from their pharmacy. Hallelujah
I bought a roblox card for my grand daughter for Christmas put the card number in and it said invalid. I bought the card from them which was 25 and I have my receipt and the said contact roblox but I bought it from them. I really don't shop here the only reason I shopped there is because my job gave me a gift card.
It use to be a nice store now it turned into being like the Walmart a cross the street it's ran down really poor customer service just a bunch of rude people the shelves are never stocked will not go back
I picked up today birthday cake cupcakes I am so very disappointed they were so stale it was like they were a week old I will never get cakes or cupcakes from Meijer's again my name is Susan Pfahler. They were for my granddaughter's 9th birthday.
TRIED TO BUY AN E GIFT CARD. SNAFU WITH EMAIL ADDRESS, NO CONCERN TO FIX THE PROBLEM! FARMED OUT TO SOME BLACKHAWK WITH EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
We shop (for now) at the Cadillac Meijer.they removed the bag carousels and now you have to bag own groceries...better start lowering prices if we have to do everything ourselves. We will start shopping at local grocery store vs. MEIJER...also self checkouts take someone's job away and the sales never ring properly overcharging...
Regarding bag carousel removal, I feel bad for seniors and those who have large grocery orders..
Jenison, Mi. I hate meijer now. They don't care about their employees or customers. Accused me of stealing when I had a bag, receipt and the cashier who said I paid. They embarrassed me. My wife works there. They wrote her up stating it wasn't becoming of a team member when they harassed us and she spoke up. They said it's their policy to treat everyone like a thief. They said they aren't racist because their store director is black. Just a bunch of weird shut. We didn't even get to the door before the lady B lined over to us. I got something for them for that though… LAWYER!
I have worked at Meijer store for a year and a half. People that work at the store are very cordial and friendly. However the Meijer Corporation is very disorganized. The right hand don't know what the left hand is doing. They are changing your work schedule on a daily basis. So you do need to log in and check your schedule. I've been there a year and a half and they have changed my schedule about five different times. When I came to putting my two week notice in. As soon as I put my two week notice in and recommended a few people to take my position. Myers Corporation near me on the schedule for those two weeks. Abruptly they canceled them weeks and completely took me off of their schedule. Bottom line Meyer is a good place to work as far as the people go. However the corporation will screw you over as soon as they can. I do not recommend anybody getting involved with this Corporation.
I worked at Meijers for 8 years and I seen and have let things go. I took everything there it is what it is. Store 137 is a joke. Amy Griffin the manager is a joke. They treat their good workers like $#*! and the lazy people like they are something special. They don't care about you or your problems. The store manager is a two face, she only cares about herself and getting paid. Rude to the customers and employees. Her boss comes around she is nice as can be. Bottom line, management is horrible there. They have their favorites to move up in the company. I think it's a horrible place to work and don't recommend working at least this Meijers.
Simply put the Mejer in Algonquin is a $#*! store, filthy restrooms, every handicapped cart they have is absolute junk batteries never charged and damaged,I think I will just shop at.Wallmart
Orders items that were on sale this week on Sunday am low and behold they were out of almos everything facial tissue, turkeys, crackers and a few others. Turkey was substituted. With chirttlin I have no idea what it is turkeys were. 55 lb about 7.50 chrlirlttings were 50.00 bucks not happy this is the commerce thp store might have to drive additional 8 miles to the widow store not happy
Be very wary of the employees here. They don't care at all. They didn't give my ID back after making a return. I realized it the next day, but took me about a week to get back in to get it and they lost it. And then claimed they never used it for the return. Keep an eye on them because they are negligent.
I work at Meijer 54 at the Gas station. Today, 10/16/2022 at about 7:20 pm. I had a customer that came to buy lottery tickets. Lottery tickets can not be purchased with credit card. This customer tried three times to pay with his credit card and kept telling me that the pin screen was not coming up for him to punch in hus numbers so he can use his card as debit. This is because his card was credit only. This customer became very loud and started calling me an idiot and saying I have problems and I need training and so on. I told the customer that he has to be respectfull, but he kept on calling me a child and an idiot. Another employee just came back from his lunch and witnessed this incident. I called the manager's extension number and asked for help. After about 15 or 20 minutes, a manager, who I believed his name was Bill with a name badge that again I believe said LL Food showed up walking to the gas station to tell me I have no right to tell the customer to be respectfull and the customer is always right. He made me fell like i am an animal. He stood in front me next to the customer to make sure the customer is well taken care of.
Well Mr. Manager, I liked Meijer because Meijer always said employees are like family, but today you totally contradicted that concept. I am not an animal. In fact I am a Doctorr in Criminal psychology who has been a director, and not a manager, for more than 30 years. I work for Meijer part time because since 1984 I have been buying everything from Meijer. This includes shoes, pants, food, and so on. I had a lot of respect for Meijer and wanted To be part of this family.
Mr. Manager, shame on you.
While checking out in your store in Midland, Mi tonight my 9 year old son & I not only felt rushed but crowded by 4-5 of your associates that complained to us about their job, told us they were on a timer, grabbing items out of our cart scanning them before I could get them all to the cashier, and made us feel uncomfortable & crowded! Let me empty my own cart. Or if you're trying to help. Say something! Even hi. Or may I help you. Don't just grab as I am attending to my son because he felt sick. Half my items were on the roller to the cashier before I turned to tend to him and clearly they were all in a hurry. I didn't even see the blonde older lady at first and was shocked to see her grabbing my things scanning them to not say one word to me. Several others were around and they were all complaining to each other and then me about how they had to be better then the robot check outs yada yada. How to corporate they are just a number. This is the second time I've been in this store to run into employees that are working as if they are in shear fear. Treat your people better! So they treat your customers well. Or I won't be back. Thank you. From all of us. This is my first and last time filling one of these out. I've included my receipt so you can see I was there. Who your cashier was. And it was around 8:30 ish pm. Do better. All of you. Please.
Won't be doing grocery pick up at Meijer again. Unable to use paper coupons that Meijer sent me. I ordered eggs and was told they didn't have the eggs i ordered yet they didn't offer a substitute. Ive not been able to find an actual receipt online or wasnt sent one by email or text. Very frustrating!
Every single time I do an order pick up they forget something. I continue to do it because I don't have any other choice but it cost sme money without the promised product every single time. This last time and they added being able to fix you order as long as they didn't start shopping but I was on hold and searching through the app and searching through Google for so long that I lost the window where I could update my order before they grocery shopping even though I started looking two hours before my earliest pickup time. The only time I use this as an option is when I have no other option, like when I have COVID or my kids have RSV. But I always regret it! I would like to add I think it's definitely an issue with my corporation itself and not the employees!
I ordered items online from Meijer and on my end it showed one price and on their end it showed another price so I inquired about that then I didn't receive the items and asked for a refund and was told I would not receive one and I was lying about not receiving it. Never have I ever been disrespected by any employee like I was by these reps it was crazy and unprofessional
I go to the school next to meijer in muskegon michigan. I buy the deli products daily for lunch and all associates in meijer understand that you have to pay for it at the counter. Yet I am stopped and searched after trying to walk out with the food I paid for. Completely disgusting you are wasting the time of your customers and treating them like prisoners. I will never be shopping there again.
I have worked all of my life from the age of 16 up until age 52 when I became ill and was put on Social Security Disability. With the help of many doctors I am doing better, I am still disabled, but I am able to work part-time at a job that is way below what I was doing before I became disabled. You hear about how many jobs are out there and how employers cannot get people to apply fir their jobs? That is a lie, I am more than and over qualified to any number of the mindless positions that I have applied for and not one of the stores I sent my application/resume to even interviewed me. I thought people with disabilities were given consideration for these types of jobs. Just because I use to be in the Administrative field.or in management does not mean I am now over qualified for ANY position! People get sick, or in accident that change their lives and these small companies like Meijer, Sam's Club, Kroger, Kohls, need to think about why people like me might be applying for a way lower paying position and why a person may have been out of work for several years before just dismissing their application for a mineal position.
Hendrik and Fred Meijer must be turning over in their graves. Where do I start. Grew up in Grand Rapids and had weekly trips to the quonset hut store with mom. Today's stores are nothing compared to back then:
Customer service is just c r a p.
Political statements in the store ARE NOT OK. Can't stress this enough!
Bare shelves need to be addressed—this is not due to supply issues as carts of product are sitting there in everyone's way, waiting to be unloaded.
I am NOT on Meijers payroll; therefore, I want the option of a real cashier without waiting in line for 30 minutes.
If I wanted Walmart, I'd shop at Walmart, which may end up happening.
Come on Meijer—keep your stores in line with the vision of the founders.
Answer: Even though Meijer was more expensive, I started shopping there because my regular grocery store did not keep their shelves stocked. As long as I have to visit another store, I am simply going to start out at that other store. This has been the case lately, so you have lost a customer. Make that two customers, because the man behind us was upset too. We ran into him later at another grocery store. Goodbye.
Answer: The Meijer at 3700 Harvey in Muskegon, Michigan is the same way. They sent us coupons for a few out-of-stock items.
