I have ordered many things from the website now, and am extremely pleased with my overall experience each and every time. The quality, shipping, and price are all fantastic. I have yet to have a bad experience. The only drawback is I can't stop shopping!
Experience was good but I find the basket out dates too quickly. Also I have some concern about paying basic shipping charges then again international shipping charges which does not make the savings that much of a real deal... Please fix those shipping charges so that as a Canadian I can have the true savings as more realistic I tried to order many times but when getting to check out and find the shipping to be > than $100.00 I back off and end up totally frustrated. The products are lovely and well described BUT what a price to pay for delivery.

I ordered an indoor/outdoor rug from the website, it came within a week of ordering it. Sadly the rug had started to fray a bit on one edge so I called to return or get a replacement. They refunded my money since the product was defected and told me I can keep the rug, donate it or fix it. I am not sure why everyone else had such a bad experience but I thought their service for delivery and customers was top notch. I will be shopping here again.

But the website is terrible. The pictures look good and the layout looks nice, but I can't find a way to search for the products I'm shopping for. I couldn't navigate the site or get to anything in particular. The idea of signing in just to view your store is absurd. I entered random information just to gain access to the website, but when I actually was interested in something and I wanted to purchase it, I had to log out and start over in order to make that purchase. I hope I don't get daily emails now.
What's up with the timer countdown? I don't understand why I can't keep an item in my shopping cart without the timer countdown. It might make sense if you made the buyers aware of how many of each product are in inventory, but that information is not available.
The site also freezes and I had difficulty getting it to load. Maybe the website needs some attention there also.
I am a new customer, but just ordered my 3rd item from Joss and Main. So far, I have had nothing but a good experience with them. Right after I ordered the first item, I had a question for their Customer Service. Within an hour, I received a reply in my e-mail. The second item was a beautiful cabinet that is much nicer in person than it looks in the picture. They seem to have good quality merchandise at a great price and a variety of items you just don't see anywhere else. And I love that the shipping charge is good for a whole month!
I love Joss & Main because it has: a wide assortment of products; good prices; great customer service. I know the prices are good because, before I buy, I check them against sites like Amazon, ebay, & etsy. They now have a "return for credit" option, which One Kings Lane does not have--you buy it and it's yours for ever at One Kings Lane. (It's unusual for a flash sale site to accept returns. Thank you Joss & Main!)
It's a scam. Shame on me for buying something without checking reviews first. I got a set of dishes which were not a set but a single place setting. They were three times more expensive than at Macy's not to mention very poor quality. The other item I ordered as Housegoods quality at a very high price. I like shopping at discount stores but I don't expect to pay full price and get low quality. Buyer beware.
When it comes to mdse. Display, this website is beautiful. When it comes to communicating with J&M, I thought it was awful. I ordered something as a gift and wanted it known as such to J&M and NO PRICE to appear anywhere on this shipment. I could not, there was no place to inform J&M of this. I could not locate a phone number if I wished to speak with a living person. I could not, no phone number easily seen. If I could find this product elsewhere I would buy there, based on this problem!
I usually do not frequent websites that require a log-in before you can even look at the site but I was looking at furniture online and the JossandMain site came up so I registered just to look at the site. Thankfully, I had the presence of mind to use a special email address and not my regular one. When I visited my rarely used special email address, JossandMain had sent me literally dozens of emails. They sent several emails on many days. Email overload. No reason for that.
Answer: Everything that I have ordered so far has been excellent. One time, the item just didn't quite look great in my bedroom. I returned it no questions asked for a full credit. Nether even paid the postage. I could have returned it for a full refund but I would had to pay the postage. In any event, very flexible on returns, which, as I say, has only happened once.
