Weird

Before I started the Course, I registered for Keller Court. Everything is normal until I got my Certificate from them with different name of the court that I asked for. Then I can't call them, messages and wait for long time. I tried to ask for the duplicate certificate, they priced it for $10. WHAT THE...?

I was ripped off. I payed for a 3 year refresher course and it expired apparently and now they claim they will unlock it for another 9 dollars. In my opinion there product is outdated and if I never even finished a course it shouldn't expire. I thought I just would have had to start over but when the customer service rep said they would unlock it I knew I was ripped off. AVOID THIS COMPANY. Worst part about it is I used this company for the last 10 years and to be honest it looks the same as it did 10 years ago. How often is it really updated.

Horrific Experience
August 22, 2015

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

Voice authentication says my voice was not my voice.

2/3 through program it sent me back to beginning.

Customer service was horrible and would not allow me to continue class or refund my money despite originally saying they could (2 representatives and supervisor).

My case is being referred to a "specialist." All I want is my money back.

Got Me $#*!ed Up!

I am a college student that CANNOT afford to be wasting any money. So they locked my account when i was almost done and i called customer service i was irritated on hold for 20 minutes. Than while waiting i typed in looking for reviews on why the hell i was on hold for so long. I came across all these bad reviews and IMMEDIATELY called my bank for the fraud prevention program and cancelled to get my money back. It was $27 but $27 i could not afford to just be wasting on stupid bull$#*! fraud websites. STAY AWAY

My online course took up WAY too much of my time! It is intended to be a 32 hour course, but it took me so much longer than that! The course was not just thorough, it was an excessive and redundant. At the end of each unit, we had to take assesments, which was fine, but the drive plans were ridiculous. Writing a mini essay at the end of each unit is not only excessive, but extremely irritating. I proved I knew the information with the unit test, why do I need to explain the same information over and over again? The voice authentication checks were probably the worst part. Most of my failures were because the system did not recognize my voice. Once the system was down and I couldn't even call in. The time just ran out and I failed. I would never recommend this course to anyone! I would just take the class in an actual classroom. This course sucked!

So I have to say It was long and boring process but I finished it and got a passing grade. As I requested the email version for my certificate I then waited for it to be sent to my email... I then emailed and called to try and figure out what happened customer service was supossed to give me a call back as well as a email which I never recieved. I had to call four times to finally get it sent again... They made it so hard to get it on time and now I still have the points...

I used this site it only took me 2 days and I loved it. The site was very helpful I passed with a 93%. I finished may10 and my certificate was shipped on the 11 I received it today which is the 14. I would very much refer people to the 6 hour course and the exam. It's very much an advantage, for the people that say it locked after 180 days really it shouldn't take you that long. So believe me it's a very great site!

Scammers

I payed them to do the course and when I am trying to sign up every password That I try it keeps getting rejected I cannot get a hold of them at all so if feels like they just took my money and will not let me do the course

Trouble

My brother had finish the drugs and alcohol curse but he cannot move on to take the permit because it say the zip code and stage is not a valid combination

I signed up for their defensive driving course. I got to the point where an automated voice told me to repeat 5 numbers. I repeated the numbers. The voice said it could not understand me. It ask me to repeat the numbers a second, and then a third time. I did, and both the second and third times it said it could not understand me. Then it takes me to a page where it asks me to download a form, have it notarized, then either fax or mail the form to them. I call their customer service rep, she said to download the form
Blah, blah.
I told her to just give me my money back, she replied there would be an $8.00 processing fee. I asked for what, I had not even started the course. She said that it was their policy.

My voice is very deep. The automated voice system apparently could not understand it.

What were they expecting someone with a voice like Justin Bieber?

This company is a rip off Avoid.

I put over four hours into this course before their voice identification system failed to recognize my voice. Trust me, it was me on the phone - same telephone, same person. But the voice recognition said it was not and they canceled my course when I was nearly done. Its a really messed-up voice recognition system. Lots of people are ripped-off by it. DON'T SIGN UP FOR THIS COURSE, unless you want to waste both your time and money.

You are asked for your home address and "ship to" address. I paid extra to have it overnighted to my work address because I wouldn't be home to receive it. And that's the address they put on the certificate---not the home address on my license. And it needs to match my license. I called them and they said the "ship to" address is the one they have to put on the certificate. Nowhere on the site did it say they would do that. I'm not sure why they even have a "ship to" address! They didn't either. And I had to pay to have it re-shipped after physically returning it to their local office. Never will I use them again nor will I recommend them to anyone else.

Go ANYWHERE else

You have to have them FAX a code to the testing center. You have to call them to get them to do this - I say on hold for over an hour three separate times and NEVER spoke to a person! Impossible, then, to take the exam. These guys SUCK and should be run out of business!

I took this course 9 WEEKS AGO and STILL do NOT have my certificate. They claim they've mailed this 4 times already and it gets sent back to them as undeliverable. Now they are wanting me to pay $19.95 for shipping to get it via Fedex but I'm concerned that I will lose THAT money too! I am going to end up having to pay another $38.00 to take this course again because they will NOT send me my certificate. Worse customer service EVER. BEWARE!

Finshed part one and couldnt type in my security word, to even take the quiz. Called the 24/7 customer service for hours... they just pick the phone up and hang up! If you do talk to a rep. They are rude and unprofessional! Money Back... Lol not in this life. I got an email like 8hrs later wanting me to call back. And telling me the site dont support smart phones tablets Ipads. Where does it say that? Not on the home page, They told me it was in the terms and conditions wich you cant read from there either!
They took my money $60 and i didnt even get to take the class! SCAM SITE! Yes I reported them

The Bottom of the Barrel

This website it awful and the customer service is even worse! The voice authentication does not work and the key stroke identification glitches out! I updated my flash player and downloaded chrome for this website, but it still often does not work. I wish there was a review worse than one star to communication my dissatisfaction with the course. The call service is rude and just says they have strict policies and that I should get better internet connection. I understand the company had to follow the guidelines, but the voice recognition and keystone verification software seems to constantly fail people. It is their own fault for not creating user friendly services and working with the state to find a better solution rather than constantly saying that they are just following the guidelines as a cop out. I am appalled that I paid for this quality of service! The company is horrible and inconsiderate, and fails to make the course user-friendly. There must be a better way to authenticate someone's identity than their current system. This website is extremely frustrating and I cannot express how disappointed I am in their ethics. This course must be considered a form of torture in some countries. Who needs capital punishment when you can just force someone to take this course? I also do not understand why there have all these options for an additional fee. It makes the course seem like a scheme to steal your money rather than educate you on driving.

I am very sorry that you are dissatisfied with the New York DMV-mandated and -regulated authentication systems required for use in your course. Unfortunately, not only are the authentication systems required by the New York Department of Motor Vehicles for all online point and insurance reduction courses, but they set the parameters for the systems and regulate them as well, and we are legally bound to use the systems as designed without changing them in any way. We include information about these systems both on our website at https://www.idrivesafely.com/defensive-driving/new-york/pirp/faq/#ci-q9 and in the Terms and Conditions for the course which one must indicate that they have read and agreed to during registration. I apologize for any confusion you may have had when you read this information and for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

As to your second point, please allow me to apologize that you feel that your customer service experience with us was not satisfactory. The strict policies you mentioned are not just internal ones, but those of the NY DMV as well, who set the requirements and regulations for courses like ours. I can assure you that my colleague informing you of these laws and polices is not a "cop out," rather it is an honest explanation of the status quo. Unfortunately, only a change in NY DMV regulations and policies would allow us to change the parameters of the state-mandated authentication systems. I am also terribly sorry that you felt that our website is frustrating. If you would like to provide us specific feedback so that we can look into updating our website, please email us at feedback@idrivesafely.com.

We provide our customers with a variety of options for their courses, including upgrading to a streaming video version of the course and expedited shipping options for certificates of delivery, in order to better accommodate any different needs or requirements they may have. I apologize that you felt that our accommodation to our customers is "a scheme to steal your money rather than educate you on driving." Our courses are approved by the each of the various DMVs, BMVs, DPSs, etc. in the states where necessary, specifically in New York by the NY DMV. Only by including all of the required information and authentication systems mandated by the NY DMV could our courses be approved for use in New York, thus verifying that our courses are in fact designed specifically to "educate you on driving." If our courses were designed for any purpose other than educating our customers, we would likely not have grown to be the largest provider of online driving education and instruction on Earth.

Overall the course was great but if I can't get an insurance reduction what use is it.
