I was very happy with my purchase, delivery and help when I had an issue with the evaporator coil that was leaking out of the box. They sent out a new coil and everything is working great.
I am however disappointed that after a month of the equipment being installed HVAC Direct contacted me about a warranty package that I would have to pay extra for warranty coverage on parts. Being a HVAC installer/tech, I can repair my own unit. Everything said 10 years parts coverage with registration, which I did. When I registered my equipment with ICP it lists a date of coverage on all parts through 6/17/2034 (furnace, coil and a/c unit).
When HVAC Direct called, I was told that the parts coverage only applied to the a/c unit compressor. I think this is really shady considering that my furnace, a/c and coil all list enhanced parts warranty through ICP. Why would my furnace list a date of 6/17/2034 if it is just a compressor warranty?

ACiQ offers 10 year parts and 20 year heat exchanger limited warranties. Please note that in order for the heat exchanger and parts warranties to be upheld, the unit must be registered through the manufacturer within 90 days of installation. The installation must also follow your state and local codes.
Coil:
10-year parts limited warranty upon registration.
All residential equipment manufacturers have a 10-year parts coverage with registration, you would just have to pay for labor to the installing company, so it's crazy to me they are trying to get extra money for a warranty parts package
I registered everything and saw nothing listing an extra cost for a warranty package. Very scandalous!
Order was placed smoothly from the website. I was very pleasantly surprised with how quickly the order arrived (within about 3 days) and the quality of the insert I receieved. It has already been installed and looks beautiful! I would definitely recommend and purchase any future products with this company.
I have called them several times and waited on hold 70 minutes, 45 minutes and 30 minutes. My unit was damaged, pictures were taken, shipping company verified they have the damaged unit. The escalation department has to review. This is ridiculous, your customer service people should be able to order replacements. You are woefully understaffed to serve your customer needs.
This company has failed to give us all the parts to our hvac system and do anything about the nonfunctional ones they sent. The technicians they had call us have not returned our emails and the warranty department doesn't actually exist. Don't let them scam you! $4000 down the drain.
The coil I ordered was a perfect fit and worked perfectly.
I self installed my split AC system and it was very easy to do. Just in time for three weeks of 115 degree heat. It worked right out of the box, it's so quiet and I would recommend to anyone considering this option.
I have not installed the furnace yet. Arrived in good shape with good packaging including damage indicating cardboard around outside. The shipping company did not call me prior to trying to deliver even though a signature was require. The called me when they showed up at the house - they were willing to leave the item based on my phone call acceptance. Shipper should call to schedule delivery.
Very unprofessional. Ordered two furnaces with air conditioners complete set ups and got a phone call that they were out of stock. They said they were sending like kind and quality. What we received did not match what we ordered wrong size. Sat on the phone for two hours and I thought we got the return squared away and the new correct unit ordered. Then a day later we get emails pushback on the return we've spent thousands of dollars with the company. They don't want to take back the items that were sent incorrectly. Outside unit was delivered with fins caused in. They told me I was outside of their 3 day window to report problem. Offered me 50.00 to go away. The a tech support guy called me who was a complete jackass redneck who tried to tell me this was all my problem with the damage. Buyer beware!
The system arrived as expected. Some of the instructions were dated but it was easy to figure out what to do. The installation took two mornings for me and a friend. The system worked immediately upon activation and it is very efficient. I am very pleased with my purchase and its operation and I can recommend your company to others.
Good quality products. To save money, I installed the whole system by myself. Even though it is my first time to install a central gas furnace and electric cooling system, the installation is smooth and uncomplicated. The small size and light weight of Goodman makes the project easier.
Furnace was delivered within the delivery date stated w/o any damages. Customer service returned my emails in a timely manner. Furnace is working without any issues to date. So far I am very satisfied with my Goodman furnace.
My experience was poor my order was substituted for much lower quality equipment that was at least $400.00 less in price... i will not be using HVACDIRECT again. I was asked to sub. The evaporator. And said yes. But all of the order was sub...the the AIR Quest stuff is junk
From the beginning of this debacle, this order has been a lot of trouble.
I was given incorrect information about the products from 'expert' sales people who knew much less about their own products than I did. I was given the run around when receiving damaged goods, and outright LIED to when I received an incomplete order.
It took 32 days to receive a credit promised in 2-4 business days.
Ordered and it said 3-5 days. It's been now 2 weeks and no items. I have xaller several times and all they say is we will look into and call you back. I haven't received a call back yet. I have been calling daily for the past week. Buyer beware
Everything came in good condition due to the packaging being done so well. The delivery driver was surprisingly very nice and even helped me load the new system into my work truck without me having to ask. The only problem I had is that the website said 2 to 3 days for delivery but it ended up taking about a week and a half to show up. Overall everything was good because of the service I received through the company was awsome.
The order process went smooth. However trying to get their customer service to do anything is a nightmare. They do not answer the phone. They do not answer email. My unit had internal damage that was not visible upon inspection. I have been attempting to get them to replace it for two weeks now. I am about to reverse my credit card to them.
Fast delivery. Everything was as ordered except the filter was not the one we ordered.
Not happy, first two were damaged. Unit sent back two days ago. Order is a month old and I have no A/C. Please make this right.
