Seriously the worst customer service ever since I can remember. They have a fine print policy of 30 day return from date of shipping, which is crazy. Called up and spoke to managers and managers of managers, and each one was as rude and unhelpful as the next.

Save yourself a lot of grief and order from other places. Note that the prices weren't even very cheap.

I ordered a bra to wear underneath my wedding dress from HerRoom via Amazon.com. I received it and had to wait another couple of weeks before my dress arrived. When it finally arrived, I found that the item was not as described. The lift it provided was very unnatural and showed under my dress. It was also not low in the back, as claimed. Because they had not provided a return/exchange policy on their Amazon seller page, and because I had not worn the item and all original tags were still attached, I thought it would be fine to return the item once I discovered it was not as described. Their customer service was extremely short and rude with me and refused to reason with me when I requested a refund. I informed them that they had not provided a returns policy on their Amazon seller page, but they insisted the return period was only 30 days and had already passed. I even took a screenshot of their seller page, which clearly stated, "HerRoom has not provided return and refund policies for display on Amazon." If I had been informed that they had such a short return period beforehand, I would not have ordered from them in the first place because I was not sure how soon my dress was coming and I needed to have the bra when my dress arrived so I could try it on with the dress and have alterations done. Given the circumstances, they should have made an exception, but they never budged. Very unreasonable. Very rude. I am extremely unsatisfied with this seller and their awful customer service. BUYER BEWARE!

I ordered a convertible bra got it last night put it on this morning and within 1 hour the clip for the clear straps broke. I called the company and was told to send a picture and they would forward to higher management to determine if it was defective. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I agree with everyone here, this Herroom.com website is the worst in the whole Web.
I ordered two bras that previously I had bought in dept. stores. This time I had the brand and the size of my favorite one and went ahead and ordered 2 bras from this website. The first problem I had was that I ordered the color Taupe and they sent me the White ones. They told me I was wrong, that I had ordered the white ones. So, I let it go. I had to wait a long time to receive my order but they debit it to my credit card long before I received it. After wearing one of these bras for a few days I realized that the cup ordered was too uncomfortable. I then sent back the other one, absolutely clean and not worn even for a minute. As a matter of fact it had the stickers attached and return it in the same bag I had received it inside another new bag of my own. I had to pay the shipping and the insurance... just in case. After a few days I contacted them and asked when I would get my larger one back and they told me that because I had sent it a couple of days after the 30 days limit, I was not entitled to an exchange nor a refund. After several calls they became more and more unfriendly with me until I also became the same. They were trying to keep the bra I had returned and that was final. I demanded that my bra be returned to me even if I couldn't use it, I wasn't going to let them keep the $30+ I had paid for that bra. Finally, when I told them I was going to contact the BBB and place a bad comment about them in the Internet, they decided to return it but asked me to sent them $5 extra for the shipment. I did and after two weeks of waiting I finally got it today. It doesn't look like the new one I sent them back... it looks used! I'll have to just throw it away. This was my first and last experience with this company. I'm sorry I didn't check them out before ordering from them. AMAZON IS THE ONLY COMPANY I'll keep on using, I have never had a problem with them at all. Stay away from this Herroom.com... it's horrible in every way possible.

I used to like Herroom.com. I used to use them for all my lingerie needs and enjoyed all of my experiences on the site. Used to. Key words.

My story is that I used Herroom.com to find my correct bra size. I realized I was wearing the wrong band and cup size, which was causing discomfort, so I set out to find my true size. Professional bra-sizing wasn't an option where I lived at the time and I am a large enough size that they don't carry it in retail stores, so I thought Herroom.com was a great solution. I read up on what to look for in a properly sized bra and began ordering/returning bras through this site until I found my correct size (they do not offer free shipping for returns, so I paid for each of those returns myself). After I found my size, I continued to order bras as needed (about every 6 months), trying a new brand or style here or there and returning ones that didn't work for me. I would always keep 2-3 bras in the end, which were approximately $50-60 each.

Recently I placed another order with Herroom.com, my biannual bra purchase. The next day I received an email that they would no longer fill my orders because of my "high number of returned items." When I complained, they decided to graciously reinstate my account but would suspend me again if I returned one single item.

For a company that sells garments where the perfect fit is so important but at the same time so difficult to achieve, I find this policy utterly baffling. Not to mention that even between brands sizing is not standard. Expecting a low level of returns is ridiculous.

As a previously loyal customer who has been burned by horrible customer service, I advise anyone and everyone to stay away.

For those interested, I made the exact same purchase that Herroom.com failed to fill on another US-based lingerie website and saved $40 by doing so. Blessing in disguise?

I did a google search for a specific bra brand. The Herroom.com ad came up saying all of this brand is 20% off. I found what I needed and attempted to purchase but the discount wasn't showing up.

I used their live chat feature. Bottom line: they refused to honor their ad. They said yes it was true that they WERE on sale before but the sale ended. The ad was was still up two days later saying 20% off today.

FYI - I was able to find exactly what I wanted at Amazon for a few dollars less anyway.

WOULD NOT recommend Herroom.com!

Terrible experience. Ordered items that never arrived. When I contacted them they said that I had to deal with Globalshipex? I ordered from their site, not Globalshipex! Had to cancel my credit card charge!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Offered 15% introductory but no way to apply it then wouldn't respond to email & in live chat wanted to argue that they never got the email. Received very poor quality bra which came apart after 2 hand washings and 4 times wearing - refused to refund or exchange. I spent a nice sum there but never again.

Purchased a "heavy-duty", high-impact zip-front Champion brand jogbra from herroom.com. 3 months later, the zipper failed. Herroom refused to issue a refund or store credit. Very disappointing, very poor service. Title Nine for sure gets my business from now on!

Purchased Lysee leggings w/faux leather at the knees. First time worn, bent down to get something off a store shelf and both faux leather fabric knees resulted in multiple "runs". This was due to manufacturer defect. Spoke w/HerRoom Customer Service & provided pics, but refused a refund. Item was shipped 9/11/13 told my 30 days started same day, not when product was actually delivered. WHAT A CROCK! AVOID & BEWARE OF HERROOM.COM!

I have never before posted an online review, but I am so disgusted with HerRoom's ridiculous return policy and abusive business practices that I felt obligated to warn others away from this company.

Due to pregnancy, I desperately needed to get some new (bigger) jog bras, so ordered two from HerRoom. Somehow (whether my mistake or theirs), one bra arrived in a 38 (the correct size); the other arrived in a size 36 (my pre-pregnancy band size). Obviously, there was no point in trying on the too-small bra, so I returned it and requested an exchange for the correct size. Just like the other reviewers, I was shocked when HerRoom rejected my return, saying that it was "damaged merchandise" and that they "reserve the right to refuse returns on items that may not meet hygiene and health regulations, or are not in new condition." What?! I never even tried on the bra! I vehemently objected to HerRoom's claims that the jog bra was in less than "pristine" condition and asked for a refund. Just like other reviewers have described, I was told that "higher management" had once again refused to accept my return, but provided no further explanation. I have now asked twice for HerRoom to explain why this never-worn jog bra was deemed unacceptable for return. I'm still waiting.

With who-knows-how-many competitors in the online/mail-order business, how does this company justify such abusive, dishonest, customer-unfriendly business practices? How do they continue to survive in this market? And now, my choice is to pay for them to ship the item back to me or they will donate it to charity (and, of course, I'm out the cost of the bra). I'm absolutely disgusted with this company. Bras/lingerie are very expensive and, as most of us ladies know, can be difficult to fit. Why patronize this business, which has repeatedly shown itself unwilling to take back even unworn merchandise, when there are so many other companies with just as good products and prices, but who appreciate and treat fairly their customers? Seriously, stay away.

I will NEVER shop through this site again. I bought a bra there and 4 months later (and I don't wear the same bra every day) the strap broke off where it was stitched to the bra. When I contact customer service she said they do not take returns after 30 days. Then she said to look at the return policy and pointed out that merchandise can be returned within 30 days if it is unwashed and not worn... how the heck could the strap break if it hadn't been worn. I said I was very dissapointed with the situation and that the quality of the bra was terrilbe and she discontinued the chat session. Again, I will never shop with this comapny again, very poor customer service!

Great if you do not have to return or want a refund!
I must add my voice to others who have stated that HerRoom's Easy Return Policy" is not easy at all -- at least not easy for the customer. I guess it is easy for the company. I was happy with Her Room until I received a bra with a tiny spot on it. I tried on the bra, it did not fit, so I decided to return it. As a courtesy to the company, I emailed them, warning them the bra I was returning had come to me with a tiny spot they had missed in their "rigorous inspection," and that they should be aware of the spot. This courtesy was my undoing, as they then sent the bra back, and after several emails, told me the management would not give me my money back. So I guess Her Room uses their return policy to get rid of spotted and defective bras, because they did not take my word for it that the bra came to me spotted.

So my advice is this: either consider HerRoom as a "final sale" store (no refunds, no exchanges) or 2. If you receive a defective item that you don't want, send it back to them with no indication that it is defective, and hope they miss the problem in their vaunted inspection process. Do not expect to receive a new item or a refund. If you do get satisfaction, be thankful, but do not expect it.

This is really the first time in my many years of online purchases that I have ever been burned by a company! I won't be back to Her Room. It is not worth the trouble.

I have used this website for about 5 years - BUT never had a return. The first time I ever had to return an item (a bra) was this past week. After trying it on I decided I would be more comfortable with the next size up. I returned it to it's original packaging with original tags still attached and sent it along with the exact same bra because I ordered 2 of the same item - THE SECOND WAS NEVER EVEN OPENED! And sent them back. A few days later received an email saying they could not accept them back because they were spotted WHAT! After several emails I was told that if I did not pay shipping and accept them back they would be donated NO EXCHANGE NO REFUND! Per a supervisor there would be no reversal of the decision! UNFAIR! Never been so insulted with a response

AWFUL! Stay Away... I purchased 2 corset bras from this site for my wedding dress. I ordered 2 different sizes because I wanted to make sure I got the correct fit. When they arrived I opened the bag
For the biggest one and it was to small. The fit was way off. I used the sizing chart provided when I ordered but it was incorrect. Which is frustrating because I needed it for a dress fitting that week, which is why I ordered 2 sizes and paid 20.00 for overnight which by the way took 3 days. I put the bras back in the box, one unopened, one tried on but unworn. I paid 15.00 to return them and waited for a response. When they did responded, 2 weeks later, the email stated that there was a "make up like stain" on the bras so a refund would not be made, instead they would send the ill fitting bra back, or donate it. I called and spoke with a representative who said the same thing. No exchanges offered because I "damaged them". I was not even wearing make up. One was not even opened. So I paid 130.00 for the bras, 20.00 for overnight shipping which took 3 days and 15.00 to return them. Total, 165.00 loss. I willl NEVER do business with them again.

I was trying to purchase a bra but had an issue with my pay pal account, I had to correct that first. It took me a couple of hours to fix the error so I then turned around and ordered the bra. I received the bra only to find it did not fit. I returned it. Lo and behold I receive an email saying the first bra is being shipped. 2 bras the same and the same ill fit. I contacted the company was told I ordered 2. I said nope. That didn't matter, I still had to return 2 bras within days of one another. I find out today that my pay pal account has been credited but they shorted me $5.00 on each order due to they don't pay for shipping. I can understand having that for one bra but not the other. I did not ask them to keep trying to get the first order to go thru which is what they did. They refuse to refund my full amount on one of the bras even though it was their mistake. As for customer service... WHAT a JOKE! There is none, the customer is wrong, they are right and oh well. NEVER will do business with them again.

HORRIBLE!

HORRIBLE! I bought a corset for my wedding and originally it said it was back ordered and would get in by July 23rd. Which would work with my timing. THEN after I ordered a couple days later, I get an email saying that it wouldn't get in until August 12th. Which does not work for me. So I requested to cancel the order. That SAME day, I get charged the full amount of the corset (which supposedly they don't charge you until it's ready to ship)! I called to see what's going on and they said that "oh it was actually in our warehouse that same day you canceled so we charged you as it was ready to ship. Now we'll have to give you a refund." I was LIVID. That makes NO sense! The email said that it wasn't even going to get to the warehouse until August 12th! So what are they LYING about it now? So dumb. Now they supposedly requested my refund which yesterday they said would hit my account today. After checking today... no refund. I call back and they now say that it will hit my account in 2-3 business days... So not until NEXT week! The whole weekend I am out that money that was never supposed to be taken out in the first place! NEVER. AGAIN.

They say "Easy returns but NOT so". Don't give them your business. I order two bras. I tried one one. It seemed to fit so I tore off the tag. I wore it for one hour and the underwire started to dig into my ribcage - hurting. I called to return it and they wouldn't because I "wore" it. GIVE ME A BREAK. I said to the customer service lady "so you never wore a bra, or shoes and it took more than ten minutes to decide whether they are comfortable or not?" "No ma'am." No more for them. DON"T DO IT!

I used the online service for this company. I was out of town for several weeks, and was not able to return my items within the very limited 30 day return policy. The $10.00 or 20%(which ever is greater), return fee is inconsistent, and highway robbery. I spoke with someone over chat asking if they could at least charge the flat fee, considering my situation, and I was given flat out no. The supervisor was curt, and just confirmed that someone told me there was a fee over live chat. I told them I would not make another purchase from them, and that I felt they were not very customer service focused. The response I received was, "ok". Extremely disappointing. I will be shopping from my local specialty retailer from now on. I will pay a little extra for courtesy and fair return policies.
