I am in agreement with many of the previous reviews. HerRoom is a company with very poor customer service skills and very rude representatives. I recieved a sport bra with a few other items that I had ordered. The sport top was the one the customer service rep recommended when I called and expressed my aprehension about ordering one without having tried it in advance. When it arrived, it was the wrong size. I put it back in the box and mailed it back to them at cost to me. Recently, I received the item back with a card that read it was "less than new." Being that it was BRAND NEW, TAGS STILL ON, I emailed them. They did not respond. After a few days, I called them. The woman on the phone was exceedingly rude. She said the item had "a scent." I asked, "What scent, I never took it out of the box?" She said she didn't know what scent and stated that my closet or home must be "musty." I would invite ANYONE to examine this item. They could say anything and return an item with no refund or exchange. I would steer very clear of this business.

I received my order but was unable to close clasp on or off so wanted to tell them I would be sending it back asap and wanted my money returned asap. After I pressed the 2 button no one answered but put me on hold. The first time I thought it was an accident but after the second time it was not. That flowery speech from the owner sure went up in smoke when they would not even answer my call. First time to order Last time to order. I want my money as fast as you too it out of my account.

The web site and products are great. Their policies and customer service are shockingly bad. I gave a $100 gift certificate to my sister and when she went to use it she also got a 10% discount for doing a survey. When she got her bill she found they didn't apply gift certificate. She called and they explained she couldn't use two coupons. Both she and I talked to them and neither of us could get them to understand how wrong that is. Oh, and both of us got that smarty pants condescending attitude you expect if you gate crashed a wedding a private golf club. Fooey!

Items were ok full itemized list including sizes on the outside of the package! Took 6 weeks for order to come! They said when they ship to Canada they have to itemize I've ordered hundreds of things from the states and all they need to put is a general statement of contents like "lingerie"

Place is a scam. It's ok until you need to return an item. They will not refund no Matter what even if it was never opened. And bras are something needs to be returned on occasion.

PLEASE do yourself a HUGE favor and DO NOT order anything from this company. They ship out defective items and when you try to return them, they give you the most difficult time. I have NEVER had an experience that was as unpleasant as this one. Their customer service is extremely rude and they keep you on hold for close to 15-mins before coming back on the line to give you an excuse as to WHY they cannot accept your return. They are not a reputable company and clearly DO NOT stand behind the products they offer. Again, this is by far the most unpleasant experience I have EVER had with an online vendor. If you want to save yourself from a BIG headache should you need to return an item, DO NOT purchase anything from this company. There are just too many negative reviews about this company and I am really sorry that I did not read them prior to making my purchase... BUYER BEWARE! I wish I didn't have to give them any stars at all because they don't deserve any, but I had to in order to be able to submit my review.

SCAM! STAY AWAY!

CROOKS! I've been ordering from herroom for years, and never had a problem. The last order I returned items that I DIDNT EVEN TRY ON... and they would not issue a refund saying the items had been "worn"... I cant find even find anything wrong with them... They are just here to steal your money. SCAM! STAY AWAY!

I did not even try on the yoga pants. Returned to them and instead of crediting me, they spent the stupid postage to return to me saying I did not follow protocol. REALLY?

The worst, most unethical returns EVER. I shop online a lot. I've never had an experience like this and have NEVER complained about any experience. I can't say e nough bad about this place. Herroom.com is a terrible company.

I had a great first time experience with HerRoom... until I had to return something and it all went downhill from there. I never received a refund on one of my return items ($50), and after trying to contact them a few times for the refund, I'm convinced that I wasn't dealing with real people because of how unhelpful they were. Not recommended!

My daughter ordered a swimsuit from this company and after inquiring about why they did not accept her return and being put on hold for 15 minutes while the representatives consulted with her manager, the manager got on the phone and began mindlessly reciting her return policy. I told her that the swimsuit was tried on with all of the stipulations in place and carefully returned it. It was sent back to her with a note saying that the suit did not pass their stringent return scanning. For scam artists, they have done their homework and found the perfect buisiness to be in. They do NOT care about their customers and this will be there downfall eventually.

Bad Service

I ordered two bras which came to $92., not a small amount to pay for bras, I received them and found I needed a larger size. I returned them with a label that was enclosed with a note explaining the problem and requesting replacements be sent. When I heard nothing after three weeks I called the company. I was told that if I simply attached the label and did not pay postage, the package would be returned to me. A month has gone by and nothing has been returned by the Post Office. The representative at Her Room simply tells me they never received it and there is nothing they can do. That's $92. Down the drain. I will never use this company again.

I ordered a sports bra from this company through Amazon.com, but never received the package. I tracked the shipment only to find that it was "delivered." But I never received it. I contacted HerRoom and was told the shipment was confirmed delivered. NO REMEDY. I paid for this product ~ they got their money. What did I get? Nothing! They told me to file a mail theft claim. Will NEVER buy from them again, nor will I purchase anything from a third-party on Amazon.com when it doesn't ship from Amazon.com. Buyer beware, for sure!

I ordered three bathing suits and returned them with tags unworn. This company said they did not receive them. After checking with the post office that they were received and many emails and phone calls. They admitted they received them but them claimed they were damaged. These items were out of a box for five minutes and then repackaged to return, unworn WITH TAGS. Have not receive a refund or been contacted. Items were not returned to me and the issue was not resolved. Stay AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with! Be warned... look at the reviews it's not a coincidence that they have barely one star. They are liars and thieves I sent back a brand-new product never worn with all the tags still on them three months later they return it to me without the tags it had stains all over it. This is not how I sent it back to them and yet they claim it is. They keep trying to argue with you and they hang up and will not talk to you and block your telephone calls. We the consumers should not expect or allow ourselves to be treated in such a fashion we can have an impact on whether a business like this continues or not please get the message out to anyone who will listen about this company. Let's do our best to protect one another against this company. I for one after reading all these reviews plan on calling the Better Business.

Terrible Customer Service

I ordered a night shirt from HerRoom. At first I was very pleased with it; the detail work was lovely. After just 2 washings, the ribbon work (weaved) became all puckered. I emailed the problem to them and their response was for me to try to fix it myself. Because it was worn, it couldn't be returned. I've never never ever gotten this kind of response in all my years of shopping. I guess if I had left the night shirt in my drawer and never washed it I wouldn't have a problem with it!

Do NOT order anything from Her Room. Find the product elsewhere! I was so disgusted with this place. Their customer service and technical departments are unacceptable. I ordered a nightgown as a Christmas present for my mother. She didnt like the material, so we quickly returned it. We filled out all the proper forms, paid the postage, and made sure we got it insured/tracking. They received the product January 2nd. I realized early February that I had never been credited so I called their phone number. Their president answers the phone and asks you to select 1,2, or 3. None worked! Neither did 0, a number most companies offer to get thru to anyone. After several attempts, I logged onto their website. They had a live chat inquiry. I typed in, the person said hello. Okay, now Im finally getting somewhere. I gave her my order number, tracking number, everything. No reply came back. I said hello? Nothing. So then I emailed them my situation. Someone wrote me back saying to please call this # and someone will be happy to help you. In my email I stated that the phone number does not work. So, I called again another day. I was able to get to someone but on my attempts before that, it failed. The person said to me, Um. There is a problem with your order. It did not pass our quality inspection. There were yellow stains all over it. I immediately became enraged on the inside and completely shocked. I said no. This is crap. Please transfer me to a manager. She said she was transferring me, but it never transferred. I kept calling MANY times. Sometimes I would get a person who would tell me they would transfer me but it never did. Other times I could not get thru to anyone. Finally a lady got on the phone and told me there was no manager or supervisor there. She said the product was being returned to me. So the lie about the manager fits right along with the lie about the yellow stains. If they really received a yellow stained return then why did they wait so long to send it back a whole month and a half? Why didnt they call or email? She said they dont typically do that. This lady seemed reasonable and shortly after our discussion, I received a call from an assistant manager who said she would credit me. I did receive a credit but the damage was done. Only the last lady was civil to me. The rest were rude. And to accuse me, a grown woman, of staining a nice nightgown and returning it makes me want to vomit. What would I gain by doing such a ridiculous thing? Also, I have never received the product back so I KNOW it was just a lie and their attempt to make a little money by charging a customer for something they never got. This place is complete crap. DO NOT bother with them. They sell products that can be found anywhere else. And with a name like Her Room I, the buyer, should have known. Terrible name Terrible customer service Terrible phone systems-- Terrible company.

The absolute worst
February 20, 2015

The customer service is terrible and I returned a item that had never been worn. Two weeks I still had heard nothing from them. I asked multiple times. Finally they said it was defective which is not true. NEVER again!
