IPad air was a 64 not 128 as stated, plus the battery was dead, there were no charging accessories, and once I eventually got it charged it was activation locked. Glyde offered $20 off for missing charging accessories, but then argued with me about the "market price" of a 128GB ipad air vs what I paid (even though it was only 64GB). Really annoying to have to go back and forth 20 times in email only to realize this was a fraudulent transaction on the sellers part from the begging and now I need to return it. Now they send a shipping label and USPS will not accept it - USPS claims it is fraudulent because of inconsistent addresses. UGH! What a huge waste of time and aggravation.
I was originally going to use a different company to sell my phone back, when I did some research and found Glyde. Glyde anticipated that I would be able to sell my iPhone 5S for more than DOUBLE what other places were offering. When my offer was accepted, they sent me the mailing supplies IMMEDIATELY (while Gazelle NEVER sent their packaging supplies despite contacting them several times). Glyde kept in contact with me via email through each step, and the sale was processed in the 3 business days as stated. I was so happy and would definitely recommend Glyde to anyone!
I was very impressed with my Glyde experience. I sold my iPhone for a great price and the process was quick and easy.
There should be a customer service number for one on one commutation. Going through email is like Stone Age. People are nice but I had listed the description of an item wrong, took four days to respond!
Excellent company to work with. Fast and easy transaction. I would recommend Glyde to anyone who wants to sell their electronics!
I was happy and surprised my item sold so fast. My money was is the bank in a few days.
Had no trouble selling my iphone 5s on Glyde. Just make sure you watch for the email notification of the sale -- the first one went into my spam box and I didn't see it, so the sale was voided. Second one was a success. Wiped my phone clean of anything stored there, put it in the convenient packaging, and mailed it. Got the check on schedule. Would do it again.
After some research the second-hand values of old phones seemed to be the best on Glyde. The sales process has been easy for two iPhones so far. I have a third non-Apple phone that refuses to sell, but that's not Glyde's fault.
Once I sell it, I'll spend my dollars and check out the buy side of Glyde.
Glyde was a very convenient way to sell my old phone, its always good to have intermediate between the buyer and vendor to ensure proper payment and Glyde was reliable in getting me paid for a small fee, best part setting the price for phone to see how much you can get for the phone.
Do not use Glyde!
I bought an ipad from them and gave it to my daughter. A week latter i was woken up at 6:30am by a man saying that he had sold me his IPad through glyde and wanted it back!
Key question: why did glyde give him my personal information?
Isnt there some basic quality control? I thought i was buying from a professional company not some idiot in Texas!
You should be worried about Glydes quality control and their willingness to protect your identity!
My iPhone 5s was certified but the battery won't hold a charge. I can literally charge it to 100% and see the percentage of charge go down rapidly before my eyes
Hi Claudia,
This is Brian from Glyde's customer service team. I am so sorry to hear about the battery. We may be able to help you with a return and refund to the seller. And we will be sure to mark this against the seller and if they form a pattern, remove them from Glyde. Can you tell me the order number or email address associated with your account?
Thanks,
Brian

The first time I sold a phone on Glyde it was easy and straightforward. But my second time was disappointing. I tried to accurately describe the phone given the options but the buyer wrote that I had falsely described the phone. The price then dropped $ 50.00. In the future it would be helpful to have more options to describe the phone so buyers know exactly what they're getting and the seller doesn't end up losing money.
I found the process very easy to follow, user friendly and everything went smoothly and quickly.
What a great way to sell devices and phones no longer being used. I am so glad I found this site. I sold 2 iPhone 4s and an iPod touch in less than 2 weeks, and I sold then for a lot more than I could have gotten selling them locally.
Thank you Glyde! I will buy/sell again.
Thanks for delivering your service as expected. Making it easy for broken cell phone to be reused and giving the seller an appropriate amount of compensation is something that has been missing from the past. Now it is here and j thank you for that. Keep it up
Sold an old phone and bought a Kindle. Perfect execution. Would use again.
Simple & easy. Good customer service. My phone was probably worth more than $38 but i dont really care. Thanks
Able to get 25x much more money for my phone compared to other sites, such as Gazelle. It was easy to list my phone & I got an offer within a week. Plus shipping is easy as well.
I was a little wary about trusting an unknown site as a platform to sell my I-phone. The process was very smooth and pain-free. Glyde's instructions were clear and easy to follow. Glyde's service in sending the mailing materials and my payment was excellent. I highly recommend and would absolutely use Glyde again.
Answer: Glyde is a great companyi did have a bad experence with a purchase but glyde sent out a return label on them and i was credited really quick. When dealing with companies on the internet i use my amazon or my paypal so that way its not hlding up my personal account. At any rate my issue was the person that sold me the phone had sent me a phone that was originally a sprint phone but flashed to cricket carrier when i tried to switch it to sprint they werent able to program the phone and i was already a customer only they couldnt figure out why. When we were programming the phone it showed the name cricket as we completed a reset of the system. So most people these days they jailbreak phones or flash maybe another work at any rate your covered regardless but i would recommend
