Sold my phone within 24 hrs of putting it up for sale
Easy to use and they cover all the details right down to the tape for the mailing box!
My exchange with Glyde was super easy. Everything was so streamlined. I would definitely do this again!
I sold a broken iPhone 5C and got a great price that was much higher than what I saw offered anywhere else. Everything went smoothly and was communicated well. I have a very favorable impression of Glyde and will likely use them again when it's for another device to go.
This site is legitimately a scam. No, you will not receive money for the phone or it will not be the amount that they told you. I sent a 3 day old, never used phone that was in perfect condition. Not a single scatch or blemish. First, they lost the package and after numerous attempts to contact them they replied a week later stating that the buyer received the package and stated that the phone was scratched and dented. Customer service deducted $30 from what I would receive. I accepted due to the fact that I was sick of trying to reach out. To this day, 3 weeks later, I have received no payment and have not received any reply so regarding payment from customer service. This site is a scam! I am also taking Glyde to court for this inconvenience and I will follow up with the results.
Has not been fun. Maybe it is just me but, I have had a bad expirence with selling. They closed my account because of too many cancelations when most of them were cancelled by the buyer. I felt as though I was t the mercy of the buyers. Reasons for cancelation did not make sense or did not fit what I was selling.
Hi John,
We just followed up with you via email. We were able to connect with the buyer of the cancelled order and they agreed to accept the phone. We finalized your payment and it is now in your Glyde account. We're very sorry to see these complications and the original return. We hope you will give us another chance.
Thanks,
Brian
Glyde Customer Service
Over the past year and half, I've sold an S4 with a cracked screen, I got $80, a new G2 $155, and a new G3 $200. Each transaction went smoothly but it is a process that will take about a week or a little more. You have to wait for your item to sell, then Glyde will send you a box, then you ship to directly to buyer, the buyer then has 3 days to accept... then you finally get paid. So you will have to be patient... I also just purchased a certified Note 4, which will arrive today, IF you don't buy certified or new you will be at the mercy of the seller, in hopes that they will send device as advertised.
With some trepidation I began the process. In two days one cellphone was sold. In 4 days the other two phones sold. Al for the stated (potential) price. Not long after, the $$$ was in the account. Couldn't have worked better.
I listed my item on Glyde with casual interest, just to see how it would work. It was sold within 10 minutes! Everything about my experience - from listing, to receiving the shipping box with preprinted label, to receiving my payment - went just like you would hope a modern tech selling platform would function!
2/2 transactions with Glyde have gone as bad as they could go. I didn't even get the product that I paid for last time. Customer Service responds only 30% of the time. Worst company I have used.
Best way I have experienced in selling your devices on line. The easiest and also the most rewarding!
I had very few problems with Glyde. Great site to sell video games, etc.
Two exact Galaxy S5 phones sent Clyde one black one gold received $111 for one got the other one back said it was non-functional it was in perfect shape and the battery didn't even work when I got it back they screwed me royally on my phone is absolutely has no no use whatsoever now if I could close down that company I would I hope no one ever ever does business with them there biggest scam I could imagine that phone had tremendous value and now it's worthless
It was easy to navigate this site throughout original request to actual sale. The packaging up of the item and mailing was so easy. Once the sale was approved by the buyer, the money was put in my account immediately and could be redeemed in many ways.
The customer service was great, and people picked up things in a timely manner, however now that my goods are gone, I have no idea what is happening and if they sold, etc. Will I get paid? What happens if they don't sell? Do you send them back? Do you pay me anyway? I feel as though I'm in limbo now.
The machine at walmart was going to give me $15 for my phone but I sold it on Glyde for $45.
I tried to buy a used ipod for my daughter off glyde and received an response that my credit card could not be confirmed and that my transaction was cancelled. My credit card is fine, I bought something the same day on another site. The transaction also appeared on my credit card, so it's clearly a mess on on glyde's processing.
Of course I understand they have tighter security, and I'm sure we all appreciate it. I simply want to straighten out whatever error they have on my account and purchase something.
That seems to be impossible for glyde to handle.
I received an email with the problem about my credit card and glyde account. I sent an email asking what I should do and asked for a phone number to call and resolve right away. Two days later, I was told to log in and review my account details to update the information. No phone number was provided to call and handle this promptly. I logged in, but since my account was locked I was unable to get to my account details to update them on the site. I sent another email back with the screen shot of my problem. No response.
I started over again and sent an email asking what to do now. Two days later I received a very strange email asking for information about my credit card so they could confirm I was legitimate. (strangely, this email was sent at 11pm PDT Sunday evening. I feel like glyde customer service is something who does this in their spare time and logs on periodically in the evenings and weekends to respond) Questions like: What is the phone number on the back of the card? Who is the issuing bank? I responded that I was happy to help confirm that my information was not fraudulent, but I did not feel comfortable. Providing details like they asked for in an email. Guess what? No response.
I am VERY uncomfortable that glyde has my credit card information and that I cannot access my account or speak with anyone. I feel like this is a scam and now I need to monitor my credit card for fraud.
Worst off, my daughter who has saved her money and worked hard for a long time is very disappointed. Glyde - if you're going to run an online business, let's get some basic customer service processes in place.
I have purchased from them before without a problem.
This time I ordered ONE Mini iPad, paid and received ONE Mini iPad. However, they are continuing to charge me for TWO and different prices! Customer Service is a joke because they just say "yes, you did order two and received two" - I didn't and they never get back in a timely fashion - so, the second one now shows as accepted! You also cannot remove or delete your credit card information! This is the WORST company to try to deal with because there is nothing but an email address.
UPDATE - Since I still have no response from Glyde, I called my bank and put a stop payment on the funds. I have also launched an investigation into this second charge for an item I didn't order or receive. I received a reference number and a time frame from them. So, I'm hoping my bank can resolve what Glyde doesn't care to deal with - problems they caused.
Also, people, check your bank statements- Glyde was using the word "recurring" on the transactions which according to the bank means they can take monies out each month. This was confirmed by a friend who works in the banking industry.
SECOND UPDATE - they finally responded only to state that I did order and receive two products. WHAT IS THEIR PROBLEM? How do you convince someone who is unwilling to listen that you don't have this "second" order? Their system automatically "accepts" the products if the customer doesn't within a few days. I selected REJECT days before and now, I have "accepted" it according to them. This is a VERY EXPENSIVE NIGHTMARE!
THIRD UPDATE - my bank was able to get the total amount refunded. I will be closing my Glyde account.
Hi Steph. This is Brian from Glyde's customer service team. I am so sorry to hear about this poor experience and we will help you return the second order. Can you tell me the order number here or through a private message here? We'll make sure you are not stuck with two orders. Thanks again.
Using Glyde was the easiest sales site I have ever experienced. I set the price for my tablet, waiting until somebody agreed to the price, and Glyde sent the shipping materials. I sent it out in the mail and the rest is history.
Everything was good except when i got my account put on hold after i ordered an item :(
Answer: Glyde is a great companyi did have a bad experence with a purchase but glyde sent out a return label on them and i was credited really quick. When dealing with companies on the internet i use my amazon or my paypal so that way its not hlding up my personal account. At any rate my issue was the person that sold me the phone had sent me a phone that was originally a sprint phone but flashed to cricket carrier when i tried to switch it to sprint they werent able to program the phone and i was already a customer only they couldnt figure out why. When we were programming the phone it showed the name cricket as we completed a reset of the system. So most people these days they jailbreak phones or flash maybe another work at any rate your covered regardless but i would recommend
Welcome to the future of buying and selling used phones.
