Site lets people cancels gifts AFTER its redeemed. If you ask how or why they greet you with silence.

Just stay away, nothing good comes out of it.

I had a very nice experience with GiftRocket. My sister lives in Montana and I struggled to find a nice online giftcard that wasn't for a huge chain - this was a great alternate option. My $3 credit didn't work at first, but their customer service was very quick to remedy the issue.

Highly suggest.

I ordered a gift card for a coworker. I have received a myriad of emails stating that my credit card is blocked and to contact the bank. I contacted the bank, and there isn't a block on my credit card. I have attempted to resolve this issue, for many days. I asked them to call me and I will give them the credit card number, for payment. They do not take payments, over the phone, I was told. I located a number, online, and left a message asking them to call me. So far, they have not done that. My coworker may not receive their gift card, because payment has not happened.

I have received gifts from giftrocket a few times before, each time the transaction into my PayPal account has been slower. From a couple hours to just over 25 hours. This time it has taken 2 days and still no email from PayPal. I have sent countless amount of emails to all the giftrocket addresses I could find and none of them have replied to a single one of them. The PayPal option is supposed to be the quietest transaction option, according to giftrocket it would be instant, clearly that is not the case for me. Very disappointing and will not be recommending this site to anyone from now on.

I received a GiftRocket certificate and the process went very smoothly. The thing a lot of people who are commenting about them apparently are not understanding is that you actually receive the cash value of the GiftRocket, with a Suggestion to use it with a specified business/establishment. However, it is not a gift certificate redeemable at the specified store per se. This is unusual, but I thought it was a great idea because it is the "thought that counts" (my recommendation was for a day spa), but it doesn't bind you to that - you just get the money. I will use them for gifts for others!

I've purchased from GiftRocket several times now... and I LOVE it. I'm your typical last minute gift shopper, and GiftRocket has saved me every time by letting me to print out my own gift card in minutes.

GiftRocket really works out nicely as a present because while you get to "suggest/recommend" what the money should be used for, in the end, the recipient isn't stuck with a card to a store they don't like - they get the cash.

I've started using this at work (for my staff) and they love it.

A friend gave me a $150 giftrocket redemption code. I didn't process it for several months, because I never heard of giftrocket and didn't really understand how it's supposed to work. But when I went to redeem it, it was smooth. I asked for a paypal deposit, which came right away (easy for me to verify). In the interest of full disclosure, I got one of those review requests afterwards, and I wrote that I was happy. Then, I got another followup asking for me to write a review on any site. I then googled them to see how they're reviewed and noticed that they're getting slaughtered. Looks like Giftrocket is definitely going through some growing pains. But my personal experience was fantastic, and my sense of fairness compels me to write something to balance out others' complaints. I have no other connection with Giftrocket. Thanks

Awful! Stay away! I ordered three gifts and the recipient wanted to deposit into her account ( an option available in lieu of a card). After the recipient redeemed the gifts she waited for them to hit her account. When the funds did not arrive, I contacted Giftrocket and received a response that my purchases were flagged for security reasons, which they don't disclose. Total BS! I bet that had I purchased actual gift cards, they would be bogus and not accepted by the vendor, with Giftrocket having my money. Requesting that the gift be redeemed into an account means that Giftrocket would actually have to send funds, which I believe they have no intention of sending; hence, the ridiculous security claim. Stay away!

Giftrocket is a scam! STay away second time ive used them to receive giftcards and they were cancelled both times. Their response was:

Terribly sorry for the trouble, but it appears as if this gift was
Canceled by our security team. We unfortunately also cannot release
Any details as to why this occurred to maintain the integrity our
Security procedures, but the sender was not charged and we suggest
Using a different service.

I had to email them when i did not receive the giftrocket. They do not email you to update you or let you know and sensitive banking info is used on this scam site! Beware!

When I attempted to print my giftrocket certificate it came out all blurry, unreadable. Since I was giving it to someone to use at Bogo's Pizza in our area I went to them to see what I could do. They told me they do not honor the certificate! I now have an unreadable certificate, not recognized by the establishment it was meant for and I am out $50. I have spent much time attempting to find a number to call to register my complaint.no luck. DO NOT USE THIS SITE!
