I was late in sending an anniversary gift to my daughter in another state, when I went on line to look for an option to get something affordable to her and her husband. This is when I discovered GiftRocket. I loved the idea that I could recommend a place for them to enjoy the use of my gift but they actually had to option to do with what they wanted. So I recommended a restaurant, which they love, and they had extra $ to spend in another area. They loved it. I will definitely use this site again.
Wanted to send someone a GiftRocket card. My first try Giftrocket.com crashed as I was sending the card. My credit card was charged, but the Giftrocket order did not go through.
Contacted support and they quickly responded and corrected the error. Money went back to my card. Tried the order again and it worked.
Will definitely use Giftrocket again.
Giftrocket is a complete scam! Went to get a gift card for hockeytown cafe and it led me to giftrocket. The website seemed legit, saying you can get a giftcard to spend anywhere. Which i thought was cool in case they didnt want to use it at the place we suggested. Kinda stupid because i could just go to cvs and get a visa or mastercard gift card thats just like money. Anyway, i gave my card number, money was taken out and then you have to "activate it" online. In the process it asks for either a bank account number or credit card number to transfer money to and charges a 20% fee for it. (So your basically paying to have money go into your account!) and it accepts NO debit cards. Big red flag. I didnt even bother with that because all i have is debit and im not about to hand out another credit card number for them to keep taking money from because i knew then that it was a scam! What legit website asks for a bank account, routing, etc number?! Also, they have NO CONTACT NUMBER. You can only send them email which they dont even answer to! I hate scam artists. I cant believe i fell for this $#*!! So i had to cancel my card needless to say, i learned my lesson. Just go to the actual restaurant and get a card or get your cards from cvs, etc. Also, positive reviews have to be from the scammers. Dont take a chance
GiftRocket is a great place to order a gift card that has many places and ways to spend your monetary gift. GiftRocket doesn't confine the recipient to a brand and allows them to cash out if it's the money they are needing. It has also been reviewed by The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. My daughter was pleased with the gift I chose this year and I am officially a cool Mom.
What I like about giftrocket is its simplicity and flexibility - enabling me to send a gift of any value to anybody - enabling them to receive in any way they wish.
I do not need to worry anymore about sounding "greedy" - as if i would not like to give such a gift, because I spend too much time to negotiate the form of payment (credit card? Bank transfer? Paypal?). Additionally it protects me from knowing all these personal details (credit card? Bank transfer? Paypal?) of the persons I am paying to.

Used gift rocket for the first time 2 weeks ago. Wow, I want to thank someone for a job well done. Within an hour I received an email from the recipient saying thank you and he and his ire were heading out to dinner. This will be my go to site. Thanks. Cecil. F. Bowes
Our credit card still has not be credited for our gift.
We signed up to redeem the gift by way of having our gift put on our credit on July 9 2015 and today is July 22 and still has not shown up on our card. What gives?
We ordered a $500 gift card from giftrocket to purchase tickets on ticketmaster.
1. Giftrocket simply transfer $500 into your Paypal account for a $27 fee.
2.10 days later and no money has been sent to our Paypal account.
3. Giftrocket have not replied to any emails regarding the missing money.
It is safe to say this company is a massive SCAM and all the positive comments are being made by whoever is behind the scam.
My mother went online somehow thinking she was buying me a Wal Mart giftcard. I recieved and email from giftrocket. I followed tghe instructiions for the money to go into my paypal account and it was supposed to take a day to go through. I still have not recieved the money.
I had never heard of giftrocket before about 2 weeks ago. I passed my realtor's contact info to a friend, and they ended up closing on a place. To thank me, my realtor sent money through giftrocket. I'll admit, at first I was very confused. Is this a gift card? Is this cash? Do I print something?
Luckily giftrocket expects all of these questions and has a very easy to follow link and FAQ area. Giftrocket is a really cool way to send money and a note to a friend. The friend then has the choice getting the money via papal, credit card, or straight to their bank account. This is not a gift certificate for only 1 place, this is cash with a suggestion. I have gift-cards to a few different random stores/restaurants that i just haven't had a chance to use, and even having only a few in your wallet adds a lot of thickness. Giftrocket eliminate the need to print or carry anything with you. Money goes to your account and you spend it on whatever you want. Did the gift giver have a terrible suggestion? That's OK... go somewhere else! I don't know why this business didn't exist sooner!

Terrible idea. Bought the card for a gift. All they do is send cash to the recipient when they redeem it. You may as well just PayPal someone the cash and bypass paying a $7 tra action fee. This is a SCAM!
I purchased a gift certificate for a restaurant in Raleigh, NC where my daughter lives. My daughters had a wonderful meal at the restaurant but when they were ready to pay, the restaurant owner said he had never seen this gift card and had never approved it. He indicated the gift cards for his restaurant needed to be purchased on his website. Fortunately, the owner was a wonderful person (at Bida Manda restaurant) and honored the gift card. Not only is Gift Rocket using businesses that they have no relationship with but they are also adding a large fee. My advice is to go directly to the place of business.
I don't understand why are the bad reviews here lying so much... maybe it is only the compitence playing unfair.
I received a gift card with money and did not need to give any percentage of it to have the money transferred to my bank.
It was fast and smooth.
Giftrocket solved a dilemma I had with sending a friend a gift for Mother's Day.
By going through Giftrocket, I was able to send a present and check on its status without having to contact anyone. It was quick and all done on line.In the future, I will absolutely use Giftrocket and endorse it for anyone who needs to send a gift card.
This is Natalie day spa in Tryone Square Mall, St. Petersburg FL I came across this website while googling my business. We are not affiliated with giftrocket whatsoever and we do and will not accept ANY of their giftcards.
Gift Rocket charges a fee to simply transfer money from one bank acct to another. This can usually be done for free. Why pay Gift Rocket to do it for you? It also takes Gift Rocket 3-4 days to do the transfer. U you can get it done in less than a day. SCAM!
Don't bother! Just give cash or a gift card, because they charge you 3% to give the gift recipient money to deposit into their bank account or paypal account. Not really a gift card!
I have never used such an amazing way too send money too others. I swear if you use this you will have no regrets
