A scam
June 24, 2017

Sent three 7 month old almost new IPhone 6s 64gb. All were in the exact same comdintion. I got paid for one and for the other two gazelle claimed that they were 5s in poor condition and reduced the offer to $25 and the other one an iPhone 7 that didn't power off with a reduced offer to $50. I asked to send them back, I received my iPhone 6s 64 that was working and still waiting for the second one, hoping that will get it back working. Gazelle is replacing phones and reduces the offers. Poor customer service and I will never try them again or recommend it to others.

Bought a Verizon 6s plus... Yeah they sent me whatever iPhone 6s plus they had lying around I guess because it is a GSM phone that won't work on Verizon. I don't think this company cares if the consumer is happy they don't have any attention to detail and customer service after the sale consists of excuses.

Bought two iPhone 6 phones and one has a GPS/ wifi issue, and the other has what they call touch disease. I bought both phones in excellent condition, but the phones did not work in excellent condition. The phones also have no more warranty, so I feel I was ripped off. I learned my lesson, and that is to save my money and buy from the Apple Store.

Sent in a flawless condition, unlocked iPhone 5c along with the original charger, headphones, and manuals -- all unused and still shrink wrapped in the original box. Gazelle did the bait and switch (i. E. "We found a scratch so our offer is reduced to 1/2...") Asked to have the phone sent back. And it arrived with the box and accessories missing. (!?) Thanks, jackasses.

I sold my iPhone 5c. Very smooth process in getting prepaid box. However, my iPhone was in perfect condition. However when received by Gazelle, they claimed it had scratches and reduced the offer from $40 to $25. You can opt not to sell but who wants it back once you've sent it in. It's like working with a used car salesman! Buyer be ware!

I've had a good experience 2x and I love the service for sending my old phones, but my recent purchase of Iphone 6 failed twice which leads to total chaos, the first one wasn't even the right carrier I asked for, the 2nd one won't hold a charge for more than a few hours... gotta ask for another replacement, go through the whole rigamoral of deleting/restoring/setting up... painful

I sent in a ipad 9.7 pro wifi 256gb for sell to them. TheY estimated I would recieve $335 + $15 BONUS. It took them a week to review my ipad then came back with a $230 offer stating the ipad was scratched and it was only a 32gb version. This is bs since I never owned a 32gb version and removed over 100gb of data from the ipad before sending it in. My only options where to accept the offer or have the crappy ipad sent back to me. This is a shame since I used them for other sells without problems since 2013. They either have turn to rip offs or they have untrustworthy employees.In any case I would avoid selling anything to them.

I ordered a phone and paid extra for the "1 day shipping." Well, the phone actually came 7 days later. Technically "3 business days", but this wasn't a huge deal for me, I simply asked for a refund on the money I spent for the shipping. They said they could not. Anyway, fast forward to after receiving my phone, I notice my mobile service not working. After troubleshooting for hours, I came to the conclusion that it was indeed an account issue. I talked to the account owner of my mobile plan and apparently, the phone was reported stolen, so it was blocked! After 2 days, I got my phone unblocked and everything worked out okay. All in all disappointed. I even sent 2 tickets asking for some compensation... anything really. No response, either time. Also, the charger I received did not seem to be original, but it still worked. I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1, because the integrity of the phone was okay.

Edit* They ended up refunding the shipping cost after a few weeks. Still wouldn't raise it to 3 stars.

I went online and described my wife's phone I was selling. Less than a week later a shipping box with padding and shipping label arrived at no cost to me. I shipped it to Gazelle at no cost to me. Less than a week later I received MORE than the amount I was quoted as an Amazon gift card. I've already applied the Amazon gift card to my account and used it. Perfect!

AWESOME!

Decided to give Gazelle a try after upgrading our cell phones. The process was so easy! Once online form was filled out and estimated amount based on actual condition they sent out two boxes with instructions and return labels. Took about a week to get email that both phones were in described condition and payment was prompt! Chose the Amazon gift card for the added 3% and they even provided a direct link to add it to my Amazon account! The whole process took about 10 days and could not be simpler. Definitely will use again!

I purchased an iPhone 6s Plus months ago from Gazelle. It was working great, until T-Mobile updated and began blacklisting cellphones. One of which was the one I purchased. They tell you that they check the phones and make sure they are clean. That was not the case. T-Mobile let me know that the previous owner never finished paying their bill, and they could not unblock it for me without the original phone number. I bought this from a third party seller, therefore could not provide one. Due to the nature of my job, I need a cellphone. This situation forced me to go purchase another phone on the spot. I paid over 500 for this phone. It is completely unacceptable. I tried to be understanding, let me them know and was told I was to be refunded completely as long as I return the phone.

Fast-forward two weeks. I have called them every other day. Nothing. They keep telling me the payment failed, and it must be my card. I let them know that my card is perfectly fine, and even called Discover to verify. I keep getting, 'I don't know why.' I offered another card, or even the option of sending me a check. They said, "It would be too difficult for a financial department." Oh, I'm sorry, were they going to HAVE to do their job? That sounds terrible. I mean, why would they get paid then?

Honestly, just go buy it from the carrier, or Apple. It is worth the down payment, it is worth spending a little extra to get something under warranty, new, and working. I even prefer craigslist, and offerup to Gazelle. This company seems to be run by children who keep giving me nonchalant answers to an actual issue. I spent the money because I was led to believe it would be a good product. This is a complete sham and I URGE you to save your time.

Also, following my conversation with them today, I was told the same thing by two Senior VP's who said they couldn't do anything, but have the title. I told him I was TOLD the exact SAME thing three days ago. He said, "Oh, there are 50 of us." Oh, so basically, there is only one person with the ability to fix this, and you are not allowing me to speak to them. Senior VP= I can't do anything.

Well, enough said.

Bad esn

So I bought a iPhone 7 plus red product. I paid for over night, didn't get the phone for two days. Finally got the phone tried to activate it and it had a bad esn. So I contact them asking the inspection process and was told their office is in CA and the phones get inspected somewhere else and they couldn't tell me the process. If I got a phone with a bad esn how many money are there.
