It was very easy to sell my old iPhone. Gave step by step instructions on how to prep phone to ship. Received payment as promised very quickly.
Everything went smoothly. My phone was accepted, as I had prepared correctly for the sale. Just wish Gazelle could have offered me a wee bit more for my pristine 5s iPhone. Oh well.
Purchased Samsung Galaxy S4
I bought this phone because I was in a pinch and just needed something basic, and I thought this phone would do the job. Well, the phone has a horrible battery life and runs very slow. I purchased the phone in "fair" COSMETIC condition because I assumed that the hardware would run fine but I was wrong. The phone crashes and dies frequently, randomly locks up and won't make calls/texts, and other issues. I paid $15 extra for expedited shipping and needed fast delivery and it was delivered a day late, which forced me to alter my plans. I would recommend Gazelle for buying a backup or temporary cheapo phone but not for a nicer item.
The phone itself is slow and Samsung has not optimized any updates for the device since 4.4 KitKat (Android is now on os 7 Nougat), meaning that the phone cannot be updated past KitKat. Can't run more than 2 MAX apps at a time or else it will crash. Cosmetic condition is very good, but the hardware is junk. I'm going to keep the phone as a backup and save myself the trouble of returning it but I will not purchase from Gazelle again.
I tried returning the phone I bought from Gazelle exactly one month ago. It took them a week to send me the information on where to return it and once I got the email saying that they got the phone back they still have not refunded me like they said they would. I've sent in tickets but they refuse to respond. STAY AWAY FROM GAZELLE THEY ARE A BUNCH OF CROOKS!

Gazelle is so painless and easy to use, it's fun. The process was easy and fast. I don't know what was going on with the complaints that are posted, but I can truthfully say my experience was almost exactly the opposite.
I sold my iphone 5s to Gazelle and I requested my payment be sent over through a check. I preferred this method of payment because I do not have a paypal account since my original accoutn was hacked in the past, so I did not want to open up a paypal account just for this transaction. Unfortunately, after I received an email explaining that my check was being sent over it never came. I waited about 2 weeks before contacting their customer service to let them know about the situation. They eventually contacted me but their service was not helpful. I eventually caved into making another paypal account but it took the company another month or so before actually sending over the payment. I've sold other items to gazelle in the past but this experience has made me hesitant to sell with them again. I give them 2 stars for their attempt at customer service, but overall it was minimal and mediocre.
Enter your item(s) to sell. They send you a prepaid shipping label online and a box if you need it. Ship it and in a few days you have your money. How easy is that!

This is my 2nd time using Gazelle to sell my old iPhone. Both times were quick to receive my shipping box and to get the $$'s after I mailed my phone to them. They give easy instructions and links to follow for deleting all data off the phone and prepping it for shipment. I recommend Gazelle to all my friends.
Got something for my otherwise worthless burnt up phone! At least it was a little cash back after costing so much with my carrier to replace it!
It is easy to look up your product and get pricing, it's easy to mail your items back (and they include instructions for reading your product), and they are quick to pay out. Thanks Gazelle!
We used gazelle to sell 3 phones. It was such a easy and fast process. We opted to get Amazon gift cards and earned an extra percentage back.
They do exactly what they promise. Fast, secure and pay out is prompt. Couldn't ask for more. Sold my iPhone 6s Plus in like new condition. Instructions were clear on how to prep the phone and Gazelle kept me informed of the process all the way.
These guys are crooks and intentionally try to lowball sellers after giving them false information. I tried to sell my old cell phone and was told the screen would not turn on and that it had only 16GB memory. I rejected their ridiculously low counter-offer.
When I got the phone back it turned on fine. And its the 32GB version, not 16GB.
This was my second time selling a device on Gazelle. The process was quick and painless. I would and have recommended Gazelle to others. I will definitely use this service again.
These guys went above and beyond. They no longer buy the iPhone 4s, but I threw my mom's old one in with my 5s anyway, just to get rid of it and didn't expect to get anything for it, but they gave me a few extra bucks anyway! I'm satisfied.
I've been waiting more than I should to receive my MacBook. I ordered a MacBook and added the overnight shipping which is $25.99 extra. Still haven't received a tracking number, just receipt. Haven't gotten any update since then. Customer Service is trash and it isn't a 24 hour customer service line.
Answer: No experience with that. Experience with their staff and their customer service, don't fo business with them. My phone was returned in October, and I still have not received my refund. They finally sent me an email saying my return was received, in December but tracking showed it received in October, and still no refund.
Answer: I would not buy from or sell to Gazelle regardless of what they claim.
Answer: No! Dishonest! Had to file a dispute with my credit card company tinged my money back and that took 3 months
