I do not have a fat bank account. I do make a high salary. I keep getting matched to women that make half or less than I do. We one finally starts talking to me. Then being honest, I tell them, I make good money, I just do not have a fat bank account and live in apartment because I lost everything I owned a several years ago and am rebuilding my life. That is when I get blocked and no longer talked. I was talked into joining this site to "get back out there" and to stop being taken by women. It is all just the same, just and electronic means to hook you up with gold diggers, not someone interested in being with you.

I've been on here and sometimes, these "men" say things as if they are sharing information in the background on another site and finding you on other social media sites. I even used a fake name but the questions they ask are not just unusual but sometimes linked to direct thoughts you share on social medias. Sometimes I worry if it's a form of sex trafficking.

Also, I got charged an international fee. I wasn't expecting to be charged one.

I was looking for a dating site for professionals. I am a doctor, I have masters business in health.My first time online dating and all reviews told me... Elite singles. I payed and I was accepted, they sent me profiles. When I started to chat, they cut me off without a reason! I had to sent them emails asking... Why I can't see my messages? After 3 days they told me. You are in Brazil. What? You accepted me and I have the same rights as all on this big world. I am not a scammer but they made me feel like I was. They sent my all money back for 3 months payed because my father is a Supreme Court Judge here and with connections in USA. I was... like... disappointed.My first experience online was terrible because of prejudice. Please... don't be a member. Try intercupid... better and they treat us with respect. I have tried a few different sites and have decided to quit after being in Elite- the worst one out there. It barely shows any matches whatsoever. I was successful with Match.com because at least they show you people when you feel like looking. Elite is so restrictive you might as well just torch the money. Personally, the Facebook dating App is better. You can see if you have friend connections so safer. Plus you can creep them. Lol Go back to common friend and then find their name! Good luck everyone.

I signed up Nov 14th and noticed the site and matches were not what I expected so I cancelled the subscription within minutes by emailing them. On the contract it states if you cancel within 3 days you get your money back. No one got back to me until day later and even though it was within 3 days they still charged me and did not give me my money. You can't even call them its bull$#*! and their response time is not good when it comes to stuff like that.

I had originally intended to join EliteSingles, because I was simply sick of the Predators, Parasites and Prostitutes of POF. However after a very annoying hour of personal questions trying to extract as much information useful to advertisers and spammers, as possible trying to create a profile and simply see the site. I was then requested to pay up and be locked into a direct debit without once having seen the site or any profile. I presume the reason that my time was wasted so much, with the utterly pointless questions was "The Sunk Cost Fallacy"

EliteSingles is simply a scam site to extract money. I have not created a profile and have not paid. However I have been constantly spammed by EliteSingles through numerous email addresses they use. To give you an idea of how bad - 11 different spam email addresses within 2 days that I blocked, before leaving this review.

I would suggest that if you want to constantly be bombarded with spam, have your bank account emptied and never meet anyone join EliteSingles.

Cancelling automatic renewal of an Elite Singles subscription is made difficult if not impossible. One is required to send a letter, no e mail, to Germany - all under the flimsy explanation of getting excellent customer service. I even found the original amount blocked again on my account for "future transactions"
I suggest to cancel the debit or credit card used for the transaction and get a replacement card with a new number - much easier than entering into impossible discussions with thieves
