I cancelled the subscription via the app store and then they still billed me over 100£ for an automatic renewal. After search for ages to get a way to contact customer service (the help page just says refer to the help page) they refused to refund even though they saw I had no logged in for months so there was no way I wanted an automatic renewal. Customer service was slow in responding and also clearly use a very patronising template.

This site requires you to pay over $125, Up-Front, for a six-month premium membership, (Unpaid = No real communication, no photos!), non-refundable! After a couple months I began to notice a disturbing pattern, where the same supposedly NEW members would be re-introduced every 2 weeks or so, same guy (I'n bisexual), same photo, but keeps getting a big red "NEW" tag when you've seen this profile and contacted them before already, and this SHOULD be impossible because a member can only sign up every six months at a minimum, and I feel like many of the profiles are 'fluff' or 'padded' BAIT profiles who claim to be from the US, but use broken English and are obviously not American or even Hispanic, so after I started pointing this out, I began to only get smiles and emojis and noone would message me back, and I am a very good-looking guy who has had a hard time keeping up with all the dozens of guys interested in AND messaging me, and I know guys and they don't just send emojis or flirt and then not try to message back when you indicate that you're interested in them as well! It is the only site where this type of activity happens almost universally! In addition, I started noticing the same faces in profile pics under different names, and even have screenshots where the same profile pic appears TWICE under different names and different cities, so something shady is definitely going on here, but because they collect the full 6-month subscription up-front in one large payment, with no refunds period (even if you cancel after one month!), so they have no incentive to make sure the listings are accurate or to be honest in their practices, much less to make sure that customers are satisfied with the service or to respond to complaints, so whatever you do, DO NOT waste your money on Elite Singles, as you ate unlikely to get matches meeting your criteria, which the site ignores, even if you're as good-looking and successful as they come! Total waste of money and I wouldn't be surprised if this site gets fined or shut-down by the FCC eventually!

Why do they even ask for your preferences? Because they don't appear to consider them when "matchmaking." The majority of the matches they send to me (and yeah, you can't even search on your own) are outside of my age-bracket and distance preferences. Then, they've got these two fairly useless features, "wildcards" and "what ifs," which are the same thing if you ask me because they're NOT MATCHES. My age preference topped out at 59 and one of the dudes they offered me was 90 years old. They're also sending me "options" from hundreds of miles away. I mean, SERIOUSLY. No offense (and more power to the 90-year gent), but I clearly stated my preference and that was not it. I completely regret joining and have sent no matches in the city where I live. Extremely disappointed, I cancelled my subscription after a week but they wouldn't refund my membership fees as they only give 3 days grace period. So I'm stupidly locked into 6 more months of this. My mistake. Wish I had seen these reviews before making such a bad decision.

Very bugging app, lacking synchro with the web site, text message flaws and failures, matche criteria are NOT respected, poor customer service, border-line fraudulent automatic renewals, very hard to find link for service cancellation, very confusing cancellation confirmation (you don't know if your profile will go down at expiration or as you press "confirm cancellation".

Any reviews here that says, "don't really pay attention to all negative reviews" is an Elite troll for sure. Because as a software engineer and website designer, I can tell you that this online dating app/web is one of the poorest i've seen so far.

Pure waste of money and time.

This site is NOT providing contact with ELITE SINGLES between 53-63 in the Charleston, SC area. Quite the opposite. Not one guy I'd remotely consider elite! Loser after loser. No professional men who are cautious about dating sites from what I've seen. Desperate men who have been thru all the sites and pay for this one hoping to land a great woman. Once you buy your membership, you are stuck. Can't cancel it and cancel the last 5 months of your 6 mo. Term once you see the reality that they LIED! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

The title of this dating app is hilarious. The majority who've contacted me are NOT highly educated, they live hundreds of miles away even though I put distance is important, they are 10+ years my senior even though I put age is important and I'm tired of seeing profiles who supposedly "match" but don't have photos. As always there's scammers on here because as with other dating apps Elite offer FREE introductory. This is not fair to us interested payers! How do photos of David Walliam (British actor) get approved?! What really annoys me about this site is when reporting a scammer, it's more difficult than other sites I've been on. In addition when I tried to do a review by google it's a joke. I spent 25minutes researching where to give Elite feedback so thank you Sitejabber! Seriously regret signing up for this site but I've paid the 6 months so will see let it expire, just because.
I followed the reviews/top 10 dating apps on google to make a choice what to use and Elite was listed as number 1. Shows that reviews aren't all that honest. Members: If a profile has commas with no space after the next word, misspelling, sentences that jump from one subject to another, have the words liars, cheats, and only have 1 photo, please swipe left. Anyone with a profile of errors is either not serious or a scammer.

I had high hopes for this site. I have been on match.com off and on for a couple of years with mixed success. This site was billed has a more discriminating selection of possible matches. What I found was nearly the complete opposite. I got very few matches that were within my preferred distance, and of those, none even remotely matched my criteria.

Additionally, they would send me matches from people hundreds of miles outside of my search zone. Completely worthless.
